It's been about 2 months since I discovered Pat and Pete's band. Andy and Joe have gotten to know me and we're now friends.
I'm sitting in my room writing something when Pete texts me,
Pete- Can you come over?
Me- Why?
Pete- I need inspiration.
Me- Writers block? Don't worry I'll be over in a few.
Pete- Thanks. See ya soon.
I sneak out my window and over to Pete's.
"So," I say as he let's me in, "Whadda ya need?"
"I can't thing of anything to write about." He says.
"What can I do to help that?" I ask.
"Maybe I can bounce ideas off you."
"Go ahead."
We talk for a while when finally he says, "I've got an idea!" He begins to write.
Later when he's finished I say, "I may or may not have been working on something as well."
"Can I see?" He asks.
"Sure."
He looks over my song and says, "This is REALLY good Rox." He says. "You mind if I play it for the guys?"
"I don't care, just don't tell them I wrote it."
"Ok."

The next day at practice I sit in my normal spot and listen.
Pat starts singing Pete's song,
"Where is your boy tonight? I hope he is a gentleman..."
When their done I say, "That was awesome!"
"Yeah, now another that presented itself to me last night."
They started playing a song. My song. Pat sang,
"Hope this is the last time, cuz I'll never say no to you. This conversation is dead on arrival..."
At the end Joe says, "Pete that's a really good song. It's different. I like it."
"Me too." Says Andy.
"It's good." Nods Patrick.
"Well I'm loving this attention but you should really thank the one who wrote it." Pete says gesturing to me.
"Roxy you wrote that!" Pat says astonished.
"I might have helped-"
"Helped! You gave me the notebook page last night! I didn't change any of it, it was all you, Rox!" Pete cuts in.
"Wow. Nice song." Says Joe.
"Yeah." Andy nods.
"Thanks." I say.
The rest of practice we goof off and play video games. They keep talking about my song. I'm just happy they liked it.
