Right after Mom and Dad leave we invite Pete over. While we wait we talk and watch reruns of Friends. About 20 minutes later we hear a knocking at the door.
     "I'll get it!" I jump up and practically run for the door. When I open it Pete's standing there with an overnight bag flung over his shoulder. "Hey" I smile at him.
     "Hi. Does Pat know...?" He starts.
     "Not yet. I was gonna wait for you before I told him."
     "Okay." He walks in and puts his bag on the couch then he sits next to me. "Pat..." He starts.
     "Yeah?" Pat answers confused.
     "There's something we need to tell you..." I continue for Pete.
     "What?" Pat smiles still looking very confused.
     "We're..."
     "Pete and I are..."
     "We're dating..." We finally say together.
     "What?!" Pat says eyes-wide. "You", he points to me,"and you", he points to Pete.
     "Please don't be mad." I say calmly.
     "Mad? I'm not mad. It's just a lot to take in." He says a lot calmer than his previous remark.
     "So we're all good?" Pete asks.
     "I think so" I look at Patrick.
     "Yeah, everything's good. Everything's cool. And I am calm.
