A phone rung from in the kitchen, "Hello?" I heard Zain say.

Oh I forgot that my kids are still here, I quickly got up and went into the kitchen. Ant, Sugar, and Zain were all seated in the dining table.

Ant and Sugar were quietly sitting next to each other as Zain sat across them with a phone to his ear.

I heard Brunet's voice on the other end, "...where are you?" He asked Zain.

"Somewhere." Zain simply answered.

Brunet sighed, "I'll give you one more chance to tell me where you are."

I already knew Zain had rolled his eyes, this boy really does need some home training.

"I'm at Onan's house." He lied.

Brunet chuckled, "No you're not, come outside now or I'll storm in there." He said sternly.

Damn, I forgot that he's a fed. He most likely put a fucking tracker in Zain's phone. Shit! What if he brought his fucking goons too??

There's no doubt that Beast, Vissi, and I are wanted criminals after that show we put on yesterday.

Zain hung up on Brunet and looked at me, "You're here now, so I don't have to listen to him." He said before throwing his phone on the ground.

Pieces of it shattered and what laid out visibly was a chip. Zain picked it up and put it in the sink before letting the water run on it.

He's smart but rude.

"Is there anywhere else that we can go?" I heard Beast asked.

Turning around, I caught him peeking through the window blinds. "Or do we kill these little ants surrounding the front door?" He asked after.

I sighed, "Shade, since you've invaded my head, I'm sure you've seen one of my new bunkers here in Virginia. Show it to Vissi." I said to her.

After all that had happened with Enzo, I expanded my number of bunkers. I have a couple in other countries, but I mainly have them here in the States.

Shade grabbed Vissi's hand before closing her eyes. Transferring memories is like a child's game for her, but when it comes to searching for memories it'll take a couple of minutes.

Vissi groaned before snatching his hand away from Shade, "I hate when you do that, it's like there's needles poking into my brain." He grumpily said.

Shade rolled her eyes, "That's the process, I'm inputting her memories into you. It'll obviously feel like that." She huffed.

Vissi looked at me and nodded his head, "I know where to go."

"Good now let's go to Brunet's house before you guys can go hide out in my bunker." I said.

If I'm going to have a one on one conversation with Brunet, I can't have my Unit with me. It'll stress him out with this many people in his house and three of us are already wanted criminals.

Hopefully Brunet is willing to hear what I have to say.

"Is everyone ready?" Vissi asked.

Beast quickly came by his side, "Yes, now hurry, the ants are coming."

Vissi formed a ball figure with his hands, each of his fingers spreaded widely as his energy force began to spark between them.

A web of blue lights sparked in the middle of his hands before he pushed it out.

The web grew and a portal with black matter in it was presented before us. We couldn't see the other side, but Beast confidently walked in it.

He was always the first to go in any of Vissi's portal. "I have to make sure it's safe on the other side." He would say.

Beast disappeared into the portal for a second before his arm came back out. It wave for us to come in, and we all followed suit.

Walking through a portal felt like nothing, there was no effect to you whatsoever. Although you won't see anything as we walk through it, since you're basically walking through space.

We arrived in Brunet's living room, it was the same way as the last time I was in here. The pictures, toys, and chairs are all in the same place.

"It's bigger in here." Beast said as he went to pick up a barbie doll.

He showed it to me, "Is this a human too?"

I chuckled and shook my head, "No, it's a toy. I'll get you some fascinating ones, when this is all over." I said to him.

He happily grinned before proceeding to move the arms of the doll, unfortunately he couldn't do much since Sugar started to cry for it.

"Zain! Give Sugar what she wants, I'm trying to sleep here!" I heard someone yell from one of the rooms in the house.

"Shit." I whispered.

I turned around waving my hands towards my Unit, "Go, go, I'll be with you all soon." I said to them.

Ennim nodded before coming to hug me. I froze for second, forgetting that she was even here.

Oh my Ennim, "I'm sorry for not acknowledging you."

Ennim is a 17 year old mute, making her the youngest of us all. She joined the Division a year before I did.

She pulled away from me with a soft smile on her face, and signed with her hands, "It's ok, I'm glad you're alright Medu."

I grabbed the back of her head and leaned it towards my lips, kissing her on the forehead. Before departing, I would always give Ennim a kiss on the forehead. It was like a parting gift from me.

I watched as Vissi opened a portal and they all left. In that moment I felt like a mom watching her children going away for college.

The moment the portal closed, I turned around and caught the surprised look on Jaja's face. She stood frozen in place with her mouth open agape.

This'll be a while.

1 hour later

"OMG! So like you're a superhero?" Jaja exclaimed loudly in my ear as she jumped up on the couch.

After my Unit left, I sat Jaja down and talked to her. She had surprisingly believed me without denying anything.

...well before that she did run around the house when I tried to touch her.

She thought I was a ghost.

I groaned and palmed my face, I've answered that question 5 times already.

Zain pushed Jaja's head, "She said no already and calm down, this is the reason why my neighbors don't like when you're around."

Jaja rolled her eyes and waved Zain off, "Anyways, when will you come see the rest of the family?" She asked.

When?

I looked at her, "When did I say I was going to even see them?"

Jaja groaned and plopped her back onto the couch, "Nevermind."

Zain sat across from us, on the other grey couch, "How will you save your Division?" Zain asked.

I shrugged my shoulders, "...I don't know."

I'm clueless. I don't even know where the location of the facility is at. The Professor made sure to keep us blind when it came to the location of the facility.

...but Copy may know, unfortunately he won't be strong enough to help soon. First I have to help him.

"Mommy." I heard Ant call.

He came forth to me and sat at my feet, "Why do they call you Medu?" He asked me.

I smiled at the memory of Ennim giving me my name. She's from Greece and knows everything about lores, legends, and folktales.

The day after I first used my power in front of everyone, she signed boldly during the Division's morning gathering, "Medusa is the new Commander."

Before getting called Medusa, I was going by 1102...my number from the Professor.

"Medu-" I started.

"Medusa, the woman who turns anyone who looks or even glances at her into stone." Said a very familiar voice.

I smiled and turned around to see Brunet standing behind me.

He had his arms at his side as he stared at me, "I knew it was you."
