"I WANT him chained on that bed and you two stay outside of this room."

Mariing utos ni Sir Matthew sa mga security staff na matatas ang ranggo dahil ang mga matataas lang ang rank ang pwedeng maging involved sa mga bagay na confidential sa hospital na ito.

"Lavender" humarap sa akin si Sir Matthew at umayos ako ng tayo.

"Go to Yna's office." utos niya at umalis na kasama ang dalawang security staff na tumayo sa labas ng kwarto para magbantay.

Malalim akong huminga at sumulyap kay Blade na walang malay at naka-gapos ang buong katawan sa kama.

Dahil sa mga nakaraang araw ay dumadalas masyado ang blackouts niya at masyadong bayolente kaya kailangan niya muna igapos.

Nalulungkot ako sa kalagayan niya ngayon at ayokong nakagapos siya ng ganyan pero wala akong magagawa dahil kailangan at hindi ko rin naman siya mapipigilan kapag nagka-blackout siya.

Lumabas na ako ng kwarto at pumunta sa office ni Dr. Yna. Kumatok ako at pumasok na at nadatnan si Dr. Yna na prenteng nakaupo sa swivel chair niya.

"Sit down" sinunod ko siya at naupo sa upuan na nasa harap ng table niya. Hawak niya ang ballpen at pinaglalaruan ito habang nakatitig siya sa akin.

Si Dr. Yna talaga ay pag kausap mo ay laging titig na titig sayo at sinusuri kang mabuti. Binabasang mabuti ang mga emotion na dumadaan sa mata at kilos nito. Talagang masyadong mapag-observa si Dr. Yna nuon pa man dahil isa na rin siyang psychiatrist.

"I tried talking to Blade but he really doesn't listen. Have you tried talking to him?"

"I did, but he kept shutting me down. And he always ignores me."

"Hmm... If he doesn't want to talk yet then let's give him time." ilang segundo siyang tahimik habang may binabasa sa papel na hawak niya.

"Take a 3 days off." biglang sabi niya na ikinalaki ng mga mata ko.

3 days off? Pero bakit ngayon pa na sobrang hindi stable ni Blade. Sino ang magpapakain at magpapainom kay Blade ng gamot? Paano si Blade pag wala ako lalo na't confidential ang information tungkol sa kanya kaya hindi basta basta ang pagpalit ng nurse kahit temporary.

"P-pero–"

"You will take a 3 days off and that's an order." pagputol niya sa sasabihin ko kaya wala na akong magagawa dahil hindi ko naman pwedeng hindi sundin si Dr. Yna.

Nalungkot ako sa utos niya at gusto pa sana sabihing kahit 2 days nalang pero naalala kong hindi nga pala ugali ni Dr. Yna ang pabago bago ng desisyon kaya nagpaalam na ako sa kanya at bagsak ang balikat na pumuntang locker room para kunin ang mga gamit.

"SIT DOWN." utos ko kay Lavender pagkatapos niya pumasok sa opisina ko. I told Matthew earlier na papuntahin dito si Lavender para makausap ko siya tungkol kay Mr. Leones.

The past few days si Mr. Leones ay nagkaka-frequent blackouts nanaman. Ang pinagtataka ko ay bakit, samantalang simula ng si Lavender ang naging nurse niya ay naging stable naman siya unlike noon na halos pitong nurse na ang nasasaktan niya dahil sa blackouts niya at ngayon ay maayos pa naman si Lavender.

Blade acted strangely good when pumalit si Lavender kay Paula. I thought na tuloy na tuloy na but I guess not. Well, speaking of Paula that poor girl is still recovering in the hospital dahil sa lakas ng suntok sa kanya ni Mr. Leones.

"I tried talking to Blade but he really doesn't listen. Have you tried talking to him?" I ask. I tried speaking to him but he just angrily told me to shut up and leave. I sigh mentally because Mr. Leones is my worst patient so far. Squeezing out information about him is hard it's like you're trying to squeeze something out of the rock! Damn...

"I did, but he kept shutting me down. And he always ignores me." she said. The sadness in her eyes is so evident. This girl can really be read like an open book. I know she likes Mr. Leones it's just so obvious to not notice. I'm sure she like him even though Lavender is naturally friendly even to her previous patients but I can see that it's different when it comes to Mr. Leones.

"Hmm... If he doesn't want to talk yet then let's give him time." I said. Mr. Leones will be given time because I know he's having trouble talking about the past. His stay here in the hospital will depend on his performance but normally patients last for about 12 months but with him probably longer than that.

But the thought of Mr. Leones acting fine when Lavender appeared bothered me. Why did he suddenly have a blackout and it happened frequently the past few days? Something must have triggered him or he must have thought of something... Did he really got a bit better because of Lavender or I just assumed it? 

I thought of a way on how to know if Mr. Leones is affected of Lavender's presence. Then the thought of giving Lavender a day off crossed my mind. I will give Lavender a 3 days off then I will observe if Mr. Leones is affected by it and if he notices Lavender being gone.

"Take a 3 days off." I said.

Lavender's eyes went big at my sudden order. She looks like she wants to protest but I'm doing this for experiment about Mr. Leones. He hated the previous nurses but he doesn't seem to hate this sweet girl in front of me.

"P-pero–" she tried to protest but I cut her off. "You will take a 3 days off and that's an order." I said putting on my authority voice to stop her. 

Her eyes looks so sad but that won't work on me because I have to know more about Mr. Leones and what or who likes. She bid me goodbye and left my office.

I WATCHED intently as I monitor Mr. Leones through the security screens to see his behavior and surprisingly he seems to be calming down. There are no guards outside of his room anymore but the door is made sure to be securely locked.

I take note of his behavior today, earlier he was less aggressive that makes me think if it have something to do with Lavender not appearing or was it just coincidence... More things should be done for more results and I hope it have something to do with Lavender because if it have then it means Mr. Leones is affected when it comes to her. If she does managed to became real friends with him then it'll be a great help for his recovery.

Could it because Lavender trigger something in him? What could it be though?

I bit my lip while staring at the screen. He just lay on his bed and have his eyes close while breathing steadily, surely he's awake I saw his eyelids flutter from time to time. Those two reminds me of someone... An old friend that have a little similarity on Mr. Leones.

I sigh and shook my head and focusing on staring at the screen and thinking about Mr. Leones and his strange behavior. This job is really stressful and mind tiring but I love it nonetheless. I can always just quit and go home or shopping and spend my money because my family is filthy rich. But I enjoy my job and want to have a hard earned money so instead of doing rich girl stuff I'm here working my ass off trying my hardest to solve this stubborn Leones.

On the third day, Mr. Leones is still calm and don't have tantrums anymore. And the fact that he calmed down at exactly when Lavender was gone! I'm having a hard time believing it's a coincidence because I can't help but to think it has something to do with Lavender. Sa nakaraang dalawang araw ay madalas lang ding nakahiga si Mr. Leones or nakaupo at malalim ang iniisip.

Kalmado ako ng buksan ko ang pinto sa kwarto niya at naabutan siyang nakaupo at nakatitig sa pader. His head slightly turned my way and noticing my presence so I took that as a sign na safe nang lumapit but on a safe distance.

"Good morning, Mr. Leones." I said and used my kindest and most polite voice. And I say to never do that again because I sound flirty using that tone.

"I informed you yesterday that we will have a session today that is why I'm here." I said. It's currently 5 am in the morning and kaninang 4 am pa ako pumasok sa trabaho dahil naiinis ako kay Dad na nag-kwento kagabi na ang ka-bussiness partner niya ay may anak na magiging 'perfect' daw para sa akin. I scoffed remembering last night dahil alam kong nagpla-plano si Dad ng arrange marriage. And dahil nadatnan kong gising itong pasyente ko ay why not ngayon siya kausapin.

"Why are you awake this early, Mr. Leones? Did you had a nightmare or something is bothering your mind?" I ask calmly. But as expected he didn't respond and just look at the walls emotionless.

I continued asking him questions regarding his feelings now and indirectly asking about his past. But he ignores me like I wasn't here at all. I sigh and just decided to end the session because this man is harder than a wallnut to crack. He is dangerous pero hindi ko mapigilang isipan na good idea kung mapapalapit si Lavender kay Mr. Leones kasi pwedeng si Lavender ang mag-talk therapy kay Mr. Leones.

But I know how Lavender is she easily get attached and I doubt Mr. Leones will keep her even if he recovered. Wala naman akong makausap na family member ni Mr. Leones at wala din akong alam na kalapit niya para sila ang kumausap sa kanya. I really need to know his past para alam ko kung paano ko siya matutulungan. Apo siya ng isang mayamang matandang babae kaya siguro ay tanungin ko si River kung kilala niya si Mr. Leones dahil isang mayaman na tao rin si River at madaming kakilala.

Pasyente ko dati si River at na-discharge na last three months pero di ko mawari ang trip niya sa buhay kung bakit pina-admit niya sarili niya ulit. Pero mas mabuting sa mga susunod na araw ko nalang siya tanungin pagkatapos ko obserbahan pa ng mabuti ang nagaganap sa dalawang ito.

Pagkatapos kong isulat sa hawak na clipboard ang final notes ay tumalikod na ako para umalis pero sa wakas ay saka siya nagsalita.

"Bring her back."

Three words that made me smile dahil ngayon lang ulit siya nagsalita and I don't need to ask kung sino tinutukoy niya. Alam kong iyon lang ang nais niyang sabihin kaya lumabas na ako para bumalik sa opisina at naupo sa swivel chair ko para pag-isipan ang gusto niya.

'Bring her Back' so he wants me to bring Lavender back huh? Maybe... He misses her? Probably, 70 percent is yes because ngayon lang humiling ng ganyan si Mr. Leones. So he's somewhat affected by Lavender.

Gusto niya ay bumalik si Lavender pero anong gagawin niya kung hindi masusunod ang gusto niyang iyon?

A smile formed my lips because I can already see the progress will happen after a few days because hindi ko ibibigay ang gusto ni Mr. Leones at hindi ko muna papapasukin si Lavender to see how he will react that his nurse is not yet back at work.
