-Seungjin Chapter-

-TW! Vomiting-

Hyunjin was basically hanging onto this stranger for his life. His legs were basically numb, he didn't even know how he was walking right now. His arms draped around the stranger's slim shoulders and his eyes closed having no proper sense of direction right now.

Eventually, the two boys make it to the stranger's apartment building and try their best to get up the few flights of stairs to get to the third floor seeming as the building only had 4 floors. The building was nothing special, completely white, blank, with no decorations. Hyunjin didn't even know if this guy lived close to the club. He doesn't remember if they took transportation here or not.

Hyunjin tried to pry his eyes open just to be met with blinding lights from the hallway.

"Yah!" Hyunjin throws a lame excuse of a punch towards the lights.

"How dare you blind me???" Hyunjin opens his eyes wider now, looking directly into the light as if he were threatening it.

"Okay tough guy, we're here" The stranger suddenly stops and tries to retrieve his keys out of his pocket but with no luck due to the extremely drunk Hyunjin.

"The lithgtsSss" Hyunjin keeps going as if he has a chance against.. lights.

"I have to get my keys out of my pocket, lean here." The stranger lightly puts Hyunjin against the wall, which he stumbles against and suddenly feels like his entire world is spinning.

"Oh fuck" Is all Hyunjin is able to get out before he feels the nausea rise up in his stomach, feeling exactly what was going to happen next.

The stranger looks up to see Hyunjin in this state and rushes to unlock his door and open it.

"Hold on I'll get you water." The stranger rushes into his apartment to get Hyunjin some water, leaving the front door wide open.

Hyunjin just stayed against the wall, not knowing what to do. There was not a single thing in the hallway that he could puke into and he really did not want to deal with the consequences of puking in the hallway of this stranger's apartment building.

Hyunjin books it to the stairs and sees a trash can right by the stairs and he immediately runs over and projectile vomited into the trash can. Hyunjin dry heaved for a second after, and then put his back against the cold concrete wall and slowly slid down it while closing his eyes, enjoying the feeling of the cool concrete against his back which was sweating just prior to him throwing up.

"Hyunjin?" Hyunjin hears his name, assuming it's the stranger he doesn't even bother to attempt to open the bags on top of his eyes.

"Mmm, I'm sorry I threw uuuppp." Hyunjin states in hopes the stranger wouldn't leave him like this seeing as he has no literal idea what area he is in.

"Hyunjin.." Hyunjin gets suspicious hearing his name yet again, finally feeling the slight feeling of sobriety.

Did I tell him my name..?

That's when Hyunjin felt the person's presence way closer, as if they are standing right in front of him.

That's when he decided he'll open his eyes, though still struggling to properly see with the blindingly bright lights.

Hyunjin's entire chest tightens upon seeing who was in front of him. He immediately loses eye contact with the younger boy, not wanting to face him in the current state he is in.

Seungmin bends down to be on Hyunjin's level, pushing a piece of hair back to be out of Hyunjin's face which lead to an immediate blush to be left on the older's face.

"What are you doing here at midnight?" Seungmin asks softly, hoping Hyunjin wasn't here for what he thought. He could tell the state the dance choreographer was in, he didn't want to see him like this.

"He's here with me." The stranger speaks up, now standing behind Seungmin.

Hyunjin looks up at the stranger to find a glare on his face directed towards Seungmin.

Seungmin stands up and looks between the two. He understood what was happening, but didn't want to believe it. It's not like he's dating Hyunjin, or even likes him so why should this affect him at all. (denial is step one)

"Are you really?" Seungmin directs his attention to the dazed boy still sitting on the cold floor.

Hyunjin can't manage to get a single sentence out of his mouth, so he nodded slowly. He now felt ashamed, as if he shouldn't have gone out to drink by himself and dance with a handsome stranger that would eventually lead to this.

"Okay." Seungmin simply states and decides to just walk away. This isn't his situation and Hyunjin isn't his boyfriend so there was no obligation to do anything. As long as it's consensual, Seungmin didn't care. That's what he told himself.

Though as Seungmin is walking back to his apartment (He lives in the same building as the stranger), he takes note of which apartment the stranger lives in due to the door still being left wide open, just in case.

-SLIGHT TW-

Hyunjin was now laying in the stranger's bed, waiting for the stranger to come out of the bathroom, Hyunjin spending this time staring at the ceiling. He was still processing seeing Seungmin for the first time in days. What was driving him insane recently was just standing right in front of him and he could barely muster up a word let alone make eye contact with the boy.

Sighing, Hyunjin turns on his side suddenly feeling a bunch of mixed emotions wanting to spill out of him. He wanted to cry because he wants to be at home, in the comfort of his own bed. He was angry because Seungmin ignored him for days, then just shows up, makes him blush and walks away. There was so much confusion in Hyunjin's mind and heart, and he could barely take it.

The stranger opens the bathroom door only wearing shorts, no shirt which left Hyunjin slightly admiring his figure. Hyunjin looked over and had to admit, the stranger had a really nice body. He had a body type like Hyunjin himself, slender and tall. Hyunjin slightly admired the boy's beauty, he really was stunning.

The stranger walks right up to Hyunjin and slowly crawls onto the bed to be able to lightly push Hyunjin to be laying on his back. The stranger hovers over him, looking into his eyes.

That's when reality hits Hyunjin. He's drunk as fuck and he's about to have a one night stand. But he didn't want a one night stand. Hyunjin a hour ago may have wanted this, but the Hyunjin present right now despised any idea of this man touching him in a sexual way.

"You really are gorgeous" The stranger whispers while staring at Hyunjin, admiring the boy's stunning eyes and plump lips.

Hyunjin stays completely still, not knowing what to do. He feels extremely uncomfortable but he doesn't know how to get out of this. He is conflicted on whether he can be honest with this guy.

There must have been a moment where the stranger saw Hyunjin's confidence waver, because he immediately got off from on top of him.

"Hey, are you okay?" The stranger asks as he gets up to sit on the other side of his bed.

Hyunjin stays in the same position he was, not really grasping that he's not in the uncomfortable situation he was just in. The alcohol was definitely not helping either.

"Y-Yeah.." Hyunjin slowly sits up and looks at the stranger, debating on how to word what he wants to say.

"I.. I have a feeling you don't want to do this." The stranger speaks up.

Hyunjin is a bit shocked upon hearing this, he didn't expect him to pick up on his body language or anything.

"I'm sorry, I don't." Hyunjin put his head down into his heads. He really was scared that something bad was going to happen. The possible feeling of relief almost pushed him over the edge, but the overall embarrassment of drunk crying in front of a stranger stopped any tears from falling.

"That's okay.. Actually can I talk to you about that a bit more?" The stranger asks.

"I guess so." Hyunjin lifts his head up and shrugs, not seeing any harm.

"When you are in a situation like this, and you end up not wanting to go through with it. That is okay, you know that right? And if someone does try to keep going with you against your will, I know it can be such a hard situation but I suggest you speak up and say no. Make sure that they know you do not want it. I have been in your situation before and it ended really differently. I wouldn't want that to happen to you. Though there is always a danger to saying no as well.. so just be careful." The stranger rambles, alas showing the affect of the alcohol. There was no way he would have spilled all of this if he was sober, but he thought it's better to say something than not saying anything.

Hyunjin felt tears well up in his eyes. He had no idea what to say in response. He expected this to end really differently, and the relief that he is ultimately okay and this guy seems decent, makes Hyunjin emotional.

"Thank you, wait, I don't even know your name." Hyunjin chuckles to himself. The two boys have been thoroughly intoxicated so names were not their first priorities but now that they weren't in a drinking atmosphere, it seemed better to talk a bit.

"I'm Beomgyu, what's your name?"

"Hyunjin" The boys smile at each other, both starting to feel sobriety take over again.

..

It was now roughly a hour later, the two boys decided to just chat and get to know each other within that hour, eventually just deciding to keep in contact and if they become friends then it happens, you know? They will see how they feel when completely sober and actually fully functioning properly.

Hyunjin was already at the door, getting ready to leave.

"Thank you for being understanding." Hyunjin smiles at Beomgyu, which is sent right back at him.

"Of course. I'm glad you found me at the club instead of some creep." Beomgyu smiles and sighs. "Okay, I am so fucking tired." He laughs which causes Hyunjin to laugh as well.

"I'll be okay taking the subway. I'll leave now." Hyunjin slips his shoes on and opens the door, turns around to wave and quietly closes it as its around 1:30am.

Hyunjin starts to slowly walk towards the staircase, momentarily stopping once at the stairs pondering on whether he should text the puppy-like boy. He felt like he shouldn't but he desperately wanted to..

Hyunjin: hey

Almost immediately, there was a response.

Seungmin: hi

Hyunjin: can we talk?

Seungmin: not in person... call

Hyunjin: im about to leave the apartment building. can i come to you for just a few minutes so we can talk face to face?

Seungmin: i said no

Hyunjin: ok im sorry, give me a second i'll call you

Hyunjin walks down the flights of stairs and out the building, and goes to closest bench he finds. He sits down and pulls his phone out again, dialing Seungmin.

"Hello?"

"Hey"

"Hi"

"How have you been?"

"I'm okay, how are you?"

"I'm okay too. Why are you still up?"

"Working"

"Oh"

"Is that why you wanted to talk?"

"No, though I am really nervous. I don't know if I did anything wrong and I want to correct it if I did."

Seungmin was surprised to receive this from Hyunjin. He expected the older boy to be pissed at him for basically falling off the face of the Earth.

"You didn't."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes"

"Then.. Why did you stop talking to me?"

"I have a lot going on."

"One point of having a friend you know, or a lover, or a whatever we were working towards, is to have someone to lean on and be comfortable with."

"I know.. I don't think that's meant for me right now."

"I see... How long is right now?"

"... I don't know exactly. Maybe a few months, a year. Forever."

Honestly, Hyunjin was disappointed to hear this, but happy he has an answer.

"I see."

"That... That doesn't mean I don't enjoy getting to know you."

Seungmin didn't understand where this sudden burst of confidence came from. Maybe it was seeing Hyunjin with another guy, a really attractive guy at that.

"What does that mean, Seungmin? That sends a bit of a mixed message."

"Can I be honest?"

"Of course"

"I do need to figure a lot of things out in my life right now, but whenever you helped me with my choreo it was such a nice distraction.."

"Really?"

"Yes, I really liked it."

"Did you like spending time with me, or did you just like the distraction?"

"Both."

"Seungmin.. I don't want to be just a distraction to you. I want to see if this could possibly work."

"I'm not ready for that right now, I'm sorry."

"No, I'm sorry. Thank you for being honest with me. I-I have to go. Can we talk at the company if we see each other?"

"Yeah, sure. Bye Hyunjin."

"Bye Seungmin."

The second the call ended, Hyunjin let every emotion go and freely fall out of him. He had so much build up of it all that it was a choked sob at first, followed by heavy sobs that make him pick his legs up to hold them to his chest for a sense of comfort. He couldn't take the overwhelming emotions he was feeling. The after affect of what happened just a hour ago was still reeling in his mind, and now this. Hyunjin was of course disappointed to hear this, he started developing a crush on the puppy-like boy. Now after his short conversation, he feels he needs to move on from it. It wouldn't be healthy or fair to Seungmin or himself to hold on to it.

Continuing to sob to himself, Hyunjin tries to calm down his breathing but with no luck, so he lets his body do what it needs to do. Which right is letting every thought, action, regret from the past few weeks be released in his cries.
