(EDITED)

It has now been a week since Minho and Jisung officially became "friends". There was not much interaction between the two, especially with Jisung being so busy recording for 3racha's come back happening soon.

Minho continued his struggle of getting through each day, working, going to classes and homework. Surprisingly enough, Minho's favorite parts of his week was now when he ended up at the "Idol hell hole" he'd call it. It wasn't so bad dealing with Hyunjin as he had predicted it to be. Except when he would talk about the trainee Seungmin non-stop.

Which brings us to the present time.

"Seungmin hasn't answered my texts for the past two days. Has he shown up for training at all?" Hyunjin is completely facing Minho while they sat on the bench outside the front of the JDP building. It was now around 7pm meaning the sun was set and the city was now covered in darkness with the street lights and lights from the buildings being the only illuminating factor in the city of Seoul. To reference, JDP's building is completely black, 6 stories high with an insane amount of windows with tan curtains over each one. There was no plants or trees to decorate the front of the building, which makes it look almost too depressing. There was no sign of color which rubs Minho the wrong way. Were they trying to scare potential idols away with no sign of life exuding from the building? If so, they are doing a great job.

Minho couldn't bother himself with looking at his friend, knowing he'll start throwing a  tantrum if he told the taller boy the truth.

"Yeah, he was here the other day. He didn't show up today but don't assume anything. He might just be sick." There was some truth to Minho's statement, though half of it was seeping with a lie. Seungmin hasn't shown up the past three days to training, but that's not Minho's responsibility to deal with.

Wait is it my responsibility? I train him but does that come back at me if he doesn't show up ?

Quickly wiping that thought from his mind, Minho looks back to his friend.

Frowning, Hyunjin goes back on his phone to send Seungmin another quick message and gets up and decides to start his walk home to pout there some more. With a quick goodbye, Hyunjin was now out of sight walking the streets of Seoul.

That's when Minho heard someone exiting the JDP building which doesn't cause his head to turn. Minho doesn't even bother moving, expecting the person to just pass by. He didn't want to deal with any more unnecessary bullshit. At this point, he was just fed up with Hyunjin and if anyone was going to provoke Minho, he would definitely not end up being the nicest person right now.

"Minho?"

Minho holds his breath, getting chills down his spine as he hears his name come out of the mouth of the prized idol who seemed to have all of his best friend's attention lately. (A/n yeah that sounds confusing,, anyway its Changbin)

Deciding to pretend he didn't hear them, Minho stays still and tries to think of any excuse to get anyway from the awkward conversation he has looming ahead of him.

"Minho?" Changbin repeats but louder this time, realizing the dance trainer is ignoring him and doesn't appreciate it.

"Why are you ignoring me? Scared of me?" Changbin continues and adds a small laugh at the end.

"No." Minho spits out plainly, not wanting to entertain this conversation-- if you can even call it that, more so just Minho's poor attempts in being a statue to avoid any type of communication-- any further.

"Why won't you look up?" Changbin says and now takes a few steps closer to Minho and bends down a bit to be in his line of vision.

"Bin, what are you doing? I thought you left?" Jisung suddenly appears behind the shorter idol, putting a hand on his shoulder to bring him out of the trance of intimidation he was trying to perform on Minho.

"Oh yeah, I'm heading home now.. I'll see you Minho." Changbin says as he strides towards the parking garage, with a quick look back to meet the eyes of the dance trainer who is still seated on the bench.

Jisung watches his friend walk away and then looks to Minho hoping for reassurance that the older isn't feeling intimidated. He doesn't get the answer he wanted to receive from meeting the older's eyes, but he definitely got an answer.

"Your friend is really pissing me off." Minho says as he grips the seat of the bench ten times tighter than he was before, his knuckles turning white. This wasn't the first time Changbin had tried to get a reaction out of Minho. It had been a long week of dreadful encounters between the dance trainer and the idol.

Jisung quickly realizes how annoyed Minho looks and sits down on the bench next to Minho, putting his hand on top of Minho's in an attempt to help him calm down. Jisung didn't think too much about the action, he just wanted to help his friend.

His attempt did work for a second, distracting Minho with the warmth of Jisung's hand on his. Sighing, Minho leans his head back and looks up at the ominous black sky above them. There wasn't a single star in sight.

"Minho, he just wants to get a rise out of you." Jisung says trying to comfort the boy next to him, which only results in a glare his way.

"Does he get off on pissing me off?" Minho asks half joking, half genuinely asking because he has no idea why Changbin would want Minho pissed at him. He tried his best to not make it obvious that he was jealous that the idol was taking most of his best friend's attention. He probably wasn't doing as well as he thought at hiding it.

"Maybe... if he can't get positive attention he'll go through measures to get negative attention."

"So you're just telling me he's an attention whore? I knew that already." Minho says adding an eye roll at the end of his sentence.

"I mean kinda..." Jisung trails off and keeps eye contact with the ground. Minho was calmed down now, at least enough to have a genuine conversation.

"That doesn't make it seem like you guys are really friends." Minho states and brings his attention back to the younger boy next to him, and realizes Jisung's hand is still on top of his. Not minding the extra warmth from the action, Minho decides not to mention it and let Jisung deal with the embarrassment he knows the boy will feel once he realizes his hand has been holding onto Minho's this long.

"We are friends, I guess."

Minho wouldn't have questioned Jisung's answer but the last two words that were added to his statement caught Minho off guard.

"What do you mean, I guess ?"

Jisung thinks about whether he really wants to talk about this with Minho. Which he then decides not to, and instead thinks of an idea that will hopefully distract both boys.

"Do you wanna come over?"

Minho meets Jisung's eyes once again but with a look of pure confliction written all over him.

"Sorry, if you don't want to that's fine. Just thought we could hang out and watch a movie or something."

"No that's not it." Minho sighs and moves his eyes to once again look up the night sky, debating on whether he really wants to be social tonight. He felt like his social battery was drained from working and dealing with Hyunjin all day as well.

"Minho?" Jisung brings the elder's attention back to him, showing a slight smile.

"Yeah, sure." Minho returns the smile and just as he was about to stand up, he remembers the placement of Jisung's hand right now. Looking down at their hands again, Minho smiles and decides to stand up but grabs Jisung's hand before he is able to pull away.

"Let's go" Minho smiles at the younger boy once again. Jisung stares at their hands which are now interlaced and stands up. He didn't realize his hand was still on Minho's, if he had known he would have pulled his hand away a long time ago.

"Minho?"

"Yeah Jisung?"

Jisung looks at Minho, trying to search in the older's eyes for an answer to the question rattling in his brain.

Does this mean as much to you as it might to me?

"Jisung? You okay?" Minho tries to retrieve Jisung's attention back since he was very clearly zoning out.

"Y-yeah, let's go." Jisung shows a small smile and Minho decides not to question it as they start their walk to Jisung's apartment.

--

Upon entering Jisung's apartment, Minho made sure to pay attention to the decor seeing as Jisung had a lot of decorations and furniture--compared to Minho's apartment-- making his apartment almost feel like a home. In the living room, there was a light gray couch which look unusually uncomfortable to Minho. He did not look forward to watching a movie in there, he would probably end up sitting on the floor which he didn't mind. There were also two chairs matching in color with the couch on either side of the living room with a white rug between them. A flatscreen tv was the next item that caught Minho's attention. In all honestly, Minho is not big on watching TV so he doesn't even have one in his apartment. It was a bit awkward seeing such a big TV in an apartment that surprisingly didn't seem to be too much bigger than Minho's. The furniture almost looked out of place, like it belongs in a house and not a 1200 sq foot apartment. Jisung had LED lights all around the top of his walls in his living room which the lights were now a shade of purple. The kitchen was kept extremely neat, with nothing out of place. Minho definitely appreciated that his new friend has good cleaning habits since he himself was a bit of a neat freak. (A/n so what I'm imagining for Jisung's apartment is from the K-drama Because This Is My First Life. Nam Se-Hee's apartment vibes)

Not realizing he has been standing still just looking around Jisung's apartment, Minho finally returned from whatever zone he was in, back to face Jisung.

"I like it."

Jisung stared at Minho, wondering why the older seemed to be acting strange all of the sudden. Nothing happened on their walk to Jisung's apartment. Their conversation flowed easily. Then realizing how Minho held his hand the entire walk here, not letting go or loosening his grip for a second. Jisung wanted to think more about that but didn't have time due to Minho now worriedly looking at Jisung.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, are you hungry?" Jisung asked hoping to change the topic quickly, which it worked.

"A bit, but we don't have to eat anything special."

"How about a few snacks?"

"Perfect."

..

The two boys were now each sitting on their respective sides of the couch, yet both under the same blanket and eating snacks from a bowl that sat in between them while watching a movie that Minho suggested they watch.

Jisung is not a fan of horror movies. Not that the movie they are currently watching is located under the horror genre, but to Jisung it was just as bothersome as those frightening movies. They are currently watching a movie called Midnight.(A/n look it up if you would like to know the whole plot but it's about a deaf girl who is trying to escape a murder. I watched it recently and dang was it crazy.)

There were many intense moments in the movie and Minho loved it. He liked the adrenaline he could feel through the screen, as if he were the one in the scene. He has been too engrossed in the movie to notice how Jisung would flinch every time a weapon was on the screen.

There was a scene in the movie where the young girl was running through the streets to try and escape the murderer that was after her. Minho was basically on the edge of his seat, clearly enjoying the movie. Maybe a little bit too much Jisung thought. It was getting a bit too intense for Jisung and he had been thinking about doing this for a while, so he thought this would be the best time to do it.

He slowly looked over towards Minho who was now legitimately on the edge of his seat. The snacks and blanket long forgotten in the elder's mind. Jisung kept staring at Minho, not wanting to look at the TV since he could hear the music becoming more intense meaning a scene Jisung probably wouldn't enjoy watching is coming.

He slowly scootched closer to Minho, not trying to take the boy's attention off the movie since he seemed to be enjoying it so much. Jisung could possibly sit through the rest of the movie if he could find a proper way to comfort himself.

Now realizing he was sat almost right next to Minho, he slowly reached out his hand to grab the older boy's hand in an attempt to distract himself from the now gruesome site on the TV.

He successfully managed to grab Minho's hand and interlaced their fingers so he was now able to squeeze the slightly bigger hand in his.

This caused all of Minho's attention which was previously on the TV, to be turned to the younger boy who was now up against him squeezing his hand tightly.

"Jisung?" Minho questioned since the boy didn't make eye contact with him and kept his sight on the television.

"Y-yeah?"

Minho reached out and lightly put his hand on the side of Jisung's face so he could make him look at him. He noticed how the younger boy was having a hard time keeping eye contact, probably due to being embarrassed that this movie was very obviously freaking him out.

"Hey, we don't have to finish the movie." Minho commented, hoping to bring some sort of relief to Jisung.

"N-no, you like it. We can finish it." Jisung said, now not being able to remove his eyes from the sight of the older boy making him to look at him. Jisung's stomach erupted with butterflies. He loved the feeling of Minho's hand softly holding the side of his face. He unconsciously leaned into the touch.

Minho sighed removing his hand from Jisung's cheekbone and wrapped his arm around Jisung and pulled him a bit closer.

"If it becomes too much, tell me. I will not hesitate to turn this off so you are comfortable."

Jisung tried hard not to blush hearing those words. It seemed like Minho really cared about him, especially his comfortability.

"A-actually, can we turn it off?" Jisung asked and immediately felt Minho move and grab the remote to turn the television off.

"I'm sorry." Minho figures he should apologize. He realized Jisung probably was not enjoying the movie as much as he was from the beginning.

"Don't apologize. Thank you for turning it off." Jisung sat up now putting some space between him and the older boy. He looked over at Minho just to make eye contact again. He felt his stomach erupt with those butterflies yet again.

"I should probably head home." Minho says still feeling guilty about what just occurred.

"That's fine, it is pretty late." Jisung muttered as he stood up along with Minho to say their goodbyes.

"Thanks for inviting me over. Sorry again about the movie but at least I know which genre you don't like for future reference." Minho laughs a little and turns towards Jisung once he reached the door.

"Don't worry about it. I liked hanging out with you." Jisung smiled brightly at the older boy, not concerning himself with the way the movie made him feel or the way Minho made him feel which were polar opposites of each other.

"Alright. I'll see you at work tomorrow?" Minho asks as he quickly puts his shoes on.

"Of course. Text me when you get home." Jisung once again smiles at Minho receiving a toothy grin from the other boy.

"Bye" Minho waved and opened the door and Jisung waved back and slowly closed the door behind his friend.

Jisung then turned around leaning against the door and sighed as he couldn't get the butterflies to leave him alone.

I'm in big trouble.

A/n yeah anyway
