"Rei. Wake up." I growled lightly at Adam's voice.
"Rei. Now." I jumped up and shook out my fur as Titan growled lowly.
"Yes, sir." I looked at him and Adam sat down next to him.
"I have assigned a task for you. A task for both of you to show worthiness."
'Finally. A chance.' My ears perked quickly and I had to stop my tail from wagging.
"You two will go find The Rage some breakfast."
"That's easy." Adam snorted.
"Unless The Destroyed finds us." I mumbled.
"Nah I-" Adam tried to argue.
"Shut up." I interrupted him.
"You two leave now." Titan walked away. Me and Adam left.
I walked slightly ahead of him, my tail straight out, showing I was alert and in lead. He must not have even been trying to keep quiet. I turned around and glared at him. "What?"
"Walk quieter. If The Destroyed finds us, we're screwed."
He rolled his eyes and lifted his paws out of the mud. I growled lowly, "Put your muzzle to good use and try to sniff something out."
"There's a butchery in the East, we can grab some grub there." He took off running.
"Adam!" I barked and ran after him, he was older and his legs were longer than mine.
"Adam, stop!" He didn't listen he kept running and stopped in front of the Butchery.
"You idiot!"
"I found food. You were the one who said to put my nose to good use, and you didn't find anything!"
"You and your nose just went straight into Bosco's Territory!"
"Who?"
I snarled and flicked my tail in annoyance. It wasn't in its normal curl, but it was over my back. I suddenly heard barking behind me. I shoved Adam behind the dumpster.
"Stay here. When they are gone, go to Titan and fulfill your task." I growled in a hushed whisper.
I turned around and flattened my ears, and I tucked my tail between my legs as I soon heard Butch and the rest of The Destroyed approach. The rottweiler towered over me, his scarred up face pushed up against my muzzle. I could hear Abyss making small remarks and Blade was trying to shut her up.
"You do know why we are here, don't you Rei?"
"...I was...tresspassing...?" I mumbled.
"Indeed you were. Abyss, what do we do with trespassers?"
"We kill them. We-"
"We severely injure them and then we," Pipp let her sister finish her sentence for her, "Then we leave them to die."
I flicked an ear in response, holding a steady gaze. Yes, I was afraid of death, but I wouldn't let them know that if I could help it.
"How about we do so now?" Blade suggested. I growled in response.
"I have a better idea..." Burch stepped forwards and slammed his shoulder into mine. I stumbled from the force and collided with Drake.
"We're taking her with us and will do something worse. Drake, slide her collar over her eyes so she doesn't see where we stay."
He did as told and slid my collar up to where it covered my eyes.

Soon I heard a voice whisper, "Jump and tuck your legs in three... two..." I jumped and tucked my legs. I remember rolling and being shoved to my feet. They pulled the collar down and I got hit in the head with great force before everything went black.
