well.. here are some tips on how to make or establish a well organized shop for beginners and soon to be opening a graphic shop.

1. Think of a concept

First of all, my first shop was pastel graphics and it is because I make pastel and simple covers. Well if you will make a concept, be constant on that. Don't change it because concept is a concept. You must be loyal to that.

For example, if you like to make dark, grungy covers so your styles and layout will be like that.

And also, if you are a pastel cover fan, so your covers will be pastel.

And if you are a neutral graphic artist (you can do both, pastel and dark) so your styles will be both.

You must be unique of your concepts tho. You must quickly draw attention from everybody. You like to manip? So do it.

Concepts are really important. My shops are full of concepts so that's what happened. Lol seriously 😂

2. Unique Styles

Are you bored and you want to create a graphic shop? So that's your chance! Think of any unique styles that matches your concept before opening your shop. But for me, lol I don't think first. Hahaha when I can see a request, I will think before making it after. Hahaa but it is easy to think styles before everything so that it will be easy for you to do cover sets.

Styles can be made in phone and desktops (PicsArt & Photoshop) by saving drafts and psd's. Styles will be the one who draws more attention than the concepts. Concepts helps the styles to gain attention tho.

3. Types of Graphics

There are types of graphics that I will tell you. I've been into graphics since 2014 so I knew so many hahaa lol.

• Manipulation - well, this is the most hardest type of graphics. It takes time to make and search for resources. This is good for Photoshop users tho, because it is easy there to edit things than mobile. For mobile, it maybe the hardest to do. I made something like this since 2015 so many times so it's okay for me hahha.

Manipulation requires pngs, background, PSD's, renders and some Photoshop plugins like nik and topaz clean. It also requires skills in manipulating and balancing effects.

There are two types, the normal manipulation (manips with objects, people and etc.) and face manipulation (manipulation in the face)

• Blended- blending requires more balancing skills because it requires textures, and renders. It doesn't require any pngs but psd's are really important for this type of covers. Some of the genres for blended are sad, dramatic, horror and angsty as it matches the style.

Blending is not that hard (for me) but it really requires balancing. Balance the parts, balance the psd's and the renders also.

It requires psd's, textures, renders and some help of Photoshop plugins.

• Minimalistic Style- these types of covers are usually simple but it really needs typography skills (font skills to be exact) did you notice some books like 'the fault in our stars'? That was minimalist. It requires vectors and png's. Fonts are seriously important.

Want to make a personalized type of cover? You can go to adobe illustrator and if your done, finish it on Photoshop. :)

• Anime Covers

Just like the blended, minimalist, and manipulated type of covers, it is just the same with anime covers but the characters/renders are anime. Some anime covers are simple and it requires fonts, png's and renders. You can also use filters for this tho.

Simple Covers - this is the simplest yet the most trendy cover style in wattpad. And it is because you can do it wherever you want (in Photoshop or PicsArt) It requires style skill, typography and filters. Renders and hq fan taken pictures, photoshoot pictures are well needed for this style.

Simple covers is the fastest way to make for the beginners. The harder you practice, the more you will know.

So as you can see.. These types of covers are relevant in Wattpad. This types of graphics can be made using your own creativity and unique thinking.

4. Find resources

The easiest way to find resources, is on deviant art as it was filled with graphic madness! Search, find and explore resources there and you will discover something!

For simple and pastel lovers, go to tumblr and you can see so many pastel there! :)

5. Be unique to everybody

The more unique you are, the more you will gain attention. Be unique on your graphics. Put some effort, and be happy. If someone dislikes it, leave them be. Every cover or graphic you make, think of it as if you are just practicing.

Be who you are, and never copy anything unless you need some ideas. Lol Aye!
