Chris' POV

We landed in the attic back in the past. Mel flew out of my arms midway and made it there first. She flew into the wall. I landed in the middle of the floor. The sisters seemed to notice me more. "Wait, how did that work? We put the spell in like 2 seconds ago." Phoebe asked. Then Leo started explaining the time space continuum. "Okay Leo I've already got a headache." Phoebe stated.

Melinda started writhing in the corner. I could see the bracelet glowing, which meant that it was about to take everything from her. "Leo you gotta get that bracelet off of her."

"Why?" He asked. "Because," I started, "Elders created them and only and Elder can remove it. If it doesn't come off she is going to die." I said, panicked. "Well, how do I know she's not ev-" he was cut off by Mel screaming. He seemed to change his mind and went to remove the bracelet. Once it was off I saw gold and green orbs coming out of the bracelet, Melinda's powers and life force. They went into her and color immediately appeared to her face. Her eyes fluttered open and I ran over to her. "Who is she Chris?" Piper asked.

"My little sister."

Melinda's POV

I woke up in the oh-so familiar attic. But this is different than the one I know. In a second Chris is kneeling over me, calling out to me. So it wasn't a dream he was here. Unless......unless I'm dead and so is he?! "Chris," I started, my voice came out soft and raspy, "Am I dead?" He laughed at that, "No you're not." I started standing up and he helped me get to my feet. I looked around, the sun was shining into the attic. Everything, save a few items, were the same. I saw my mom, dad, and aunts. I had better keep my mouth shut, I don't know what Chris has told them. "You have a sister?!" Phoebe said. "Um, yeah, hi." I said nervously. This had to be the weirdest day ever, and believe me when I say I've had my share of weird days. "What's your name?" Paige asked me. I risk a hesitant look at Chris and he gives me a look that says they don't know that we are Piper's children. "It's....Lindy." I say. It was partially true, if you wanted to shorten Melinda to Linda and then turn that to Lindy.

"Well then, Lindy, welcome to the past." Leo said. Gosh, I was actually talking to my dad. Wow. "Thank you." I responded. "Lindy, how old are you?" Piper asked. "I'm 19."

"Do you want to stay here while you're here?" Piper asked. "Sure." I responded, "I'd like that."

"Well then come on we'll get you set up in the guest room." Piper said waving her hand. Phoebe, Paige and Leo left the room to do other things. Phoebe and Paige had work and Leo had to get back to his Elder thing. "Okay, I'll be there in a minute. Can I just have a minute with my brother?" I said. "Of course." She said before closing the attic door.

I turned to Chris. "I'm so happy you're okay." He said and hugged me. I wanted to hug him back but I didn't. He backed up sensing something wrong. "But Chris I'm not okay. You left me there with him." I said bringing force into my voice. "Mel, what did he do to you?" He asked worriedly. "So many things. Chris I was in the citadel for 11 months! And I just nearly died because of a bracelet that he put on me. I tried calling you so many times but you never came." I said, tears daring to spill over my eyes. He hushed me and pulled me close. "Mel," he started explaining, "I never meant to hurt you. If I had known that you were gone I wouldn't have left. The citadel is whitelighter proof. I couldn't have heard you even if you were screaming your lungs out. I'm sorry, Mel, I am so sorry." He finished. I hadn't thought of that. The citadel being magic proof, but it made sense.

I walked forward and hugged him. He hugged me back. "We have a lot to talk about." I said. "I know but we'll talk tonight, I'll come into your room." I smiled and nodded. Then I left to go fix up my new room here at the Halliwell Manor.

In the Bedroom

I was helping Piper put a curtain up, the last item, when she looked scared. She was looking at my left shoulder blade and said to me, "Lindy, where did you get that?" "Where did I get what?" was my response. She pulled me over to a mirror and I looked in, turning my back ever so slightly. I saw the scar. It was the Charmed symbol, burned into my skin. That must have been what hurt so much that second day in the future. I touched it and flinched a little.

Piper came over immediately. "I'll call Chris." She said. "No," I responded, "he can't know I'm hurt this bad. I mean it doesn't even hurt unless you press down on it." She sighed, "Fine. But if you need anything just tell me. I'm guessing all you brought here are the clothes on your back and whatever's in your pocket?" I nodded. "Well then, tomorrow I am going to take you shopping for clothes. Tonight you just get some rest." I nodded again and she left the room. I searched my pockets before I put on the pajamas that Piper had left. I found the video tape still in my pocket. I guess Wyatt had never stopped to check my pockets. I was grateful for that. This tape was the only thing I had left of my childhood. I put it in the dresser and changed into the pajamas and waited for Chris.

When he finally came it was around midnight. "Hey" I said. "Hey" he said back. I went over and hugged him. He hugged me back. It was nice to see him again. "Mel, what happened to you?" he asked me. "I don't wanna talk about it Chris." Lucky for me it was dark in the room so he couldn't see all my scars and bruises, especially the one on my back. "What I wanna know is, what do they know?" He told me that they didn't know about me or him. He was their whitelighter. None of them, excluding Piper, had gotten married yet. Leo was very skeptical about him but other than that they knew everything. Or at least the things about Wyatt being evil. They hadn't known Chris even had a sister until she showed up. After that I was all caught up to speed.

"Okay I'll go and let you sleep." He said. "Wait. Can you stay here until I fall asleep" I asked. "Of course." It felt nice to know that my brother was only a few feet away from me as I drifted off to sleep.
