About 3 months later, I found out why Tristan was single...

*FlashBack*

I started to get notifacations on my phone. I turn it on and see a couple of messages from Tristan.

T: "Hey Love."

I smile and reply.

C: "Hey <3"

T: "Hey. Would you like to come to the movies with me tonight? I got us tickets."

I think for a moment.

C: "Hold on. I need to ask my dad."

"Who are you talking to?" I jump and look behind me and see Ty with his arms crossed.

"Great StarClan Tyler! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!" I ask.

"No. I'm just curious. Who were you texting?" Ty asks.

"Tristan. He asked me if I wanted to go to the movies with him tonight." I explain.

"What'd you say?"

"I said yes." I say sarcastically.

"Really?!" Ty yells.

"Jesus Ty I'm not that stupid. I told him I would ask Dad."

"Smart. He's out in the kitchen." He says. I head out of our room and into the kitchen.

"Hey Dad-Ooh! What are we having for supper?" I ask.

"Steak." Dad says.

"Oh, ok. Nevermind then!" I say and head back to my room.

"What'd he say?" Ty asks.

"I didn't ask. We're having steak tonight. That means Sabrina and Adam are coming over, and I dont like missing that." Ty nods.

"True. Ok." He shrugs and leaves. I go back onto my phone.

C: "I can't go tonight. Maybe some other time."
T: "Ok. Love ya Hailey!

I froze. Hailey?!

C: "Hailey?! Last I checked, my name was Crystal, and that was only about ten minutes ago!"

T: "Oops, sorry. Wrong person. All of that was meant for Hailey!"
C: "The hell you mean that was all for Hailey?! What part in this does she take?"
T: "She's my girlfriend!"
C: "No she's not! I am!"

T: "I know."
C: "Then you're cheating on me?"
T: "It's not cheating when you date someone that you've known since 1st grade."
C: "It's cheating when you're already dating someone! You could've atleast told me you didn't to be with me anymore!"

T: "But-"
C: "We're done Tristan! Don't ever talk to me again!"

I grip my phone tightly in my hand until my hand starts to ache.

T: "Crystal I'm sorry!"

"Sorry means nothing Tristan!" I growl outloud. I throw my phone at the wall in anger. The bedroom door opens moments later and Ty comes in.

"Crys, What's wrong?" He asks.

"Tristan." I growl.

"What'd he do?" Ty asks and leans on my desk.

"Cheated on me." I mutter. Ty brings his chair over and sits down next to me.

"Want to know something?" I nod. "I didn't have the best feeling about him when we met him and I really didn't like you two being together anyways. His cousin is in my grade and she's a trouble maker, and when I heard you guys were together, I didn't know how to react, especially since it was some trouble maker. Dad felt the same way." Ty explains. I sit there in shock for a couple of moments until I feel my anger rising.

"So you didn't tell me any of this?" I ask as tears well up in my eyes.

"It was your decision! Not mine!" Ty defends himself. I stand up and push my chair in anger.

"So you're saying that since it's my decision, you couldn't have told me what you thought of him so I could've prevented my heart breaking?!" I ask as tears roll down my cheeks.

"No Crystal! I-Look-"

"Look what?! My heart has been broken because you didn't say anything-"

"We didn't say anything because we wanted you to learn how it is so it never happens again to you." Someone says. Ty and I both look over and see Dad leaning in the doorway. I feel arms go around my neck and Ty lays his head on my shoulder.

"Told ya." He smiles. I cross my arms in annoyance.

"Whatever. Adam and Sabrina are here." I mutter and walk out of the room.
