"Bambam, I swear if we miss the plane I will skin you alive."
"No need to be so harsh, where's my sunshine?"
"It died when you overslept." Youngjae pulled his hand through his hair.
"Aw don't be like that." Bambam turned his attention away from the road, fixing Youngjae's brown hair.
Youngjae quickly swatted his hands away. "Focus on the road, I don't want to miss the flight and it's your fault we couldn't book the seats."
"I'm focusing, I'm focusing," He turned his attention back to the road when Youngjae's comment registered, "How is it my fault?!"
"Well last night you used up all the bandwidth on my Internet, then you stole my cell phone and used up all my data, including the airtime, just so you could stream videos off youtube and post on instagram. If we get a seat stuck next to a pervert, you're going to sit next to him. And don't get me started on this morning."
"You kept nagging me!"
"Because you refused to get out of bed and I told you yesterday to pack, not the morning before the flight."
"I was tired, okay?" He pouted.
"Yes, I'm sorry." Youngjae rubbed his temple.
The rest of the drive to the airport was silent between the two friends, one silently stressing in the passenger seat, the other energetically singing to songs on the radio. Majority of the parking bays were full and Youngjae had already begun to claw at his hair.
"Do you want to go bald?" Bambam asks as he looks for a parking bay.
"You're the reason- Look, Bambam, over there!" Youngjae exclaimed and pointed towards an open parking bay. He carefully parked the car and once the ignition was off, Youngjae had jumped out and was already inside the boot, pulling out all bags and suitcases.
Bambam strolled up to him and slung his tog bag over his shoulder however an aggravated Youngjae stood there watching him waste daylight.
They locked the car and Youngjae grabbed Bambam's hand so he could pull him along incase he began to lag. They hurried towards the book-in and agonisingly slowly, the receptionist checked their passports and printed their boarding passes before sending their luggage off.
"We have ten minutes before the gate closes and airports aren't small. Bambam, I swear if you don't r-"
"You're the one making us lose time now." Bambam cut him off and ran straight ahead. Youngjae ran behind him as they approached customs and were at the back of the queue.
"Look how many people there are, we're going to miss it." Youngjae began to bite his nails.
"Youngjae, they can't not let us through now. It's not our fault there are so many people in front." BamBam tried to reason.
"No no, it is our fault."
Bambam stood closely to him and pulled the corners of his mouth upwards to make a smile.
"There's my sunshine." Youngjae couldn't help but laugh and soon enough they managed to get through customs.
The pair checked their watches and saw the gate would close soon and so the two ran down the blinding white tiles, almost everyone was already boarding the plane so the corridor was fairly empty. As Youngjae ran he saw a small flash of green as he slipped and fell onto his butt.
"Ow, that'll leave a bruise..." Youngjae whined.
"I don't see a banana peel."
Youngjae tried to ignore his comment and sat up and looked around under his feet. A small green book lay next to his feet. He picked it up and scanned the front. 'Republic of Korea' it read.
"I slipped on someone's passport." Youngjae announced, holding it in his hands.
"What do you want to do with it?"
Youngjae shrugged. "We'll look for the person and if we don't see them, we'll just give it to the staff."
"Okay, well look inside to see who we're looking for."
Youngjae opened the front cover and flipped through till he found the page with the photo and information.
"Oh my God." Youngjae could feel his jaw drop and his eyes widen.
"What?" Bambam inquired.
"This guy looks hot in his passport photo."
"Lemme see!"
Youngjae felt Bambam bend down and rest his head on his shoulder.
"Im Jaebum? I'd tap that." Bambam announced.
"How can someone have such a hot ID picture." Youngjae said aloud.
"Have you not seen mine?" Bambam raised an eyebrow.
"I have-"
"Not properly!" Bambam cut him off and began to dig in his bag in search of his passport.
Youngjae felt like a brick had hit his head when he remembered they were already late.
"Bambam, we don't have time for your stupid picture, we're late." Youngjae quickly climbed to his feet and dusted himself off, holding the passport tightly in his hand.
"Oh you didn't have a problem when you were fanboying over the guy's passport."
"I was not-"
"Was too~" Bambam sang, but was interrupted by the announcer.
"Boarding Gate 13 will close in less than five minutes. Any last passengers please make your way to the boarding gate before it closes."
The duo quickly shared a look before running down the stairs and down the long hallway. They were grateful when they saw several more people standing in the queue in front of them. They both bent down, trying to catch their breaths.
"Youngjae... I finally have a reason to blame you for our tardiness..." Bambam breathed.
Before Youngjae could retort, he overheard the people at the front of the queue.
"... I can't find my passport."
"You had it a few minutes ago! How did you lose it?"
"I don't know, I could swear I just had it."
"Jaebum, I swear, you overslept, made us late and now this happens."
Youngjae felt his ears prick up as he heard the mention of the name Jaebum. He stood up and slowly walked towards the pair at the front.
"Uhm, excuse me..." Youngjae spoke up, the green passport in his hands.
Both males turned their attention towards him. The shorter of the two was cute with big ears and was too busy glaring at the flustered taller male beside him. Youngjae shifted his attention to the other and lost his breath when he looked at him. It was the same guy in the passport, down from the soft black hair to the chiseled jawline. Although if it was humanly possible, he looked a thousand times more attractive in the flesh.
Youngjae accidentally forgot how to speak as he was starstruck by the slightly older male, but was saved when Bambam appeared, putting his arm around his shoulders.
"I believe this is yours, I found it on the way..." Youngjae held out the green passport to the pair. The taller of the two, who Youngjae assumed to be Jaebum, face lit up.
"Thank you so much." He took the passport and Youngjae was captivated by his smile. Especially his eye smile and the way his eyes curved into crescents and his beautiful soft lips revealed his flawless teeth. Youngjae could feel himself fanboying on the inside. His voice was music to Youngjae's ears and worth a five thousand word essay. But Youngjae was dragged back to reality when the shorter of the duo spoke. Unfortunately for Youngjae, his cheeks began to dust pink as he tried to hide his embarrassment about his staring session.
"Thank you for finding my albeit stupid friend's passport-"
"I'm not stupid-" Jaebum tried to cut him off however he was cut off as his friend continued.
"Really I've had enough of it. This morning he overslept and we were in a rush so he lost his passp-"
"You had the passports thou-"
"Shhh, quiet while I explain to these nice people."
Youngjae could feel Bambam next to him as he tried to stifle a laugh while Youngjae felt awkward and quickly elbowed BamBam in the stomach to make him stop.
"W-Well I'm glad we helped." Youngjae smiled, trying not to stutter as the pair in front of him continued their bickering.
