'Huh? He isn't happy to see me?' That was the first thought which came to your mind.

Y/n : I'll help myself with some water. You can continue.

'Its alright. He would ask about the message I sent him. That must be it.'

Jisoo : Uh.. what's up with you?

Taehyung: Nothing. There's just something I want to ask her. And I want her to answer neutrally. That's all.

Jisoo : Then I think you should talk to her first.

Taehyung: Ok. Sure.

He got up and went to the kitchen.

Taehyung: Y/n.

Y/n : Oh Tae are you ok?-

You relaxed a bit.

Y/n : You wanted to talk?

Taehyung: Yes. I saw the message you had sent me before I got arrested. How did you know?

That's when you realised, you never told him that your father was the head of the police.

Y/n : Actually, my dad is the head officer at our state police department. I now realise that I never told you that.

Taehyung: Why?

Y/n : Uh.. I don't know. I forgot to. I know it sounds really weird. We are dating and even after knowing what your father is, I should have informed you. But it never came to me.

You knew he wasn't convinced. Heck , you yourself weren't convinced.

Taehyung: Yeah. It's alright that you forgot..

He took a pause. No, you didn't want any misunderstandings. You took his hands in yours and looked at him in the eyes.

Y/n : Please. Let's talk everything out. Just say it.

Taehyung: It's not like I don't trust you y/n.. but I want to ask. Why did you approach me in the first place? I mean, what did you see in me?

Your heart dropped. The one mistake which you made about Taehyung. The only mistake.

Taehyung: Say something y/n!

He yelled anxiously. He didn't expect such a reaction from you. He was scared.

Taehyung: This thought has been killing me as I waited behind the bars. Please y/n , tell me. I won't have any doubts then.

Y/n : I.. I was intrigued by your mystery. So I just wanted to investigate you.

You closed your eyes shut, and unknowingly tears ran down.

Y/n : I somehow felt like I could help you. So I tried to get a read of you using my dad's 'how to read a criminal book'.

You were sobbing by now.

You felt the grip of two big hands on your arms.

Taehyung: Hey. Look at me.

'No. I can't Tae.'

Taehyung: It's alright. It's totally fine. Cause you truly like me now. I know it. Don't you?

You couldn't think of anything. You were just crying. Every time your heart clenched a little when he opened up to you, when you were at the stream, when he told you who he was. You weren't being honest then. It had piled up , little by little. The guilt was all pouring out now. He pulled you in a hug. 

Taehyung: Hey. Hey. Calm down. It's all fine. It's ok.

'No. No. I don't deserve such an understanding guy. I don't deserve you.'

He hugged you tightly and stroked your head. You stayed like that for a long time. Finally, you pulled back.

Taehyung: Are you ok now?

You nodded , going and splashing your face with some water.

Y/n : I don't feel good. I'll leave now. We can talk again later.

He didn't say anything, just nodded and saw you at the door.

You reached home without a single thought.

Y/a : What happened? You were so excited when you left.

Y/n : Nothing. I am just feeling a bit off.

You went in your room and lay down on your bed

'I miss him... already.' you laughed.

'I miss his voice. His handsome face. His loving gaze. His hug. His touch. His scent. I was so busy being mad at myself and being pathetic. I want to go to him..'

You picked up your phone and called him. 'Sheesh. What's wrong with me. I'm such an idiot.'

'wow his voice.'

Y/n : Hi.. it's me

Taehyung: Yeah..?

Y/n : I called you to- .. to

Taehyung: Is something wrong?

'Yeah. My heart's beating like it'll die'

Y/n : No. I wanted to tell you that I'll be giving you all the work you missed these days tomorrow so bring your notes. And our final exam starts in two weeks.

Taehyung: Alright! Are you okay now?

Y/n : Yup. Sorry for just running out like that.

Taehyung: no problem. Then, see you tomorrow.

You smiled.

'I am a bit late.' You overslept since you had a peaceful sleep after almost a week.

You paused for a while, as you saw the entire group, the boys and Jennie hugging the living daylight out of Taehyung while Jisoo smiling at them fondly, before running and joining the group hug.

Taehyung: Guys... It's been ten minutes.

He said , while laughing in bliss. All of you pulled apart.

Jin : I'm going to buy you jajangmyeon.

Jimin : I'll buy you mochi.

Taehyung: You are one.

He pinched mochi's cheeks.

Yoongi rolled his eyes.

Yoongi : Let's go inside first.

He said while giving Taehyung a slight pat.

Everyone started to go in. You held his arm to stop him.

Jennie: Taehyung!

She looked back , and saw you. She gave you a smirk. She went on. He looked at you with wide eyes.

Y/n : I'm sorry I was like that yesterday. I didn't even let you talk.

He cupped your cheeks.

Taehyung: It's fine. Cause everything is good between us now.

Y/n : Let's go out today.

Both of you leaned in without any hint for a passionate kiss. Something you both have missed for days which felt like ages. You were back together, melting into each other. Comfortable, warm. Both of you pulled back and connected foreheads. Smiling, you whispered together.

"Let's make us official"
