Taehyung: I didn't want to get you involved, but it isn't my fault she decides to show up out of nowhere.

Y/n : Yes.

He held both of your hands. But the weight of the actual situation wasn't letting you feel his warmth. The situation which you couldn't tell him just yet.

Taehyung: I don't understand why she was here . You never cared in the first place. You never protected me.

You gulped for no reason. He sighed.

Taehyung: I am really thankful that you are with me. You aren't selfish or don't like me for a purpose.

You couldn't look at him in the eyes. You were indeed selfish when you approached him, and even now when you are yearning for these beautiful moments and keeping the truth from him.

Taehyung: How about we go out for a.. lunch? Let's just relax and talk.

Y/n : Ok. Sure. But I have to tell you something important-

Jungkook : They have called us again.

Taehyung: Wait a second Jungkook.

He let go of both of your hands.

Taehyung: What is it.

He asked you. You glanced at Jungkook for a second and then back at him.

Taehyung: Ok , let's talk later then.

He ruffled your hair and smiled.

Jungkook: Let's go.

Taehyung: Hm.

They left. You opened your phone. A text from Taehyung.

"When was it..? Oh! It was yesterday night."

You : I wanted to tell you that
your dad's criminal case has been
taken up again. I'll tell you all
about it when we meet.

The bell rang, for an unfortunate half day was left in school.

Jennie : Let's go!! We have PE now!

Y/n : What??

Y/n : Alright. It was really fun.

You said as you panted and sat on the stairs in front of the ground.

Jennie: I told you!

She slapped your arm. You slapped her twice. Then you became angry cats hitting each other.

Yoongi : Yah! Stop it.

You both turned your heads at him.

Y/n / Jennie : Whatever.

Namjoon: Why are we still here?

Jin : Have some fun for once Joon!

Namjoon: I mean I'm not complaining, but we had a test-

Jin : Shh.. we had nothing. Seems like the PE coach forgot the time. So let's go with it, shall we?

Namjoon : Alright. Then let's meet at my place for combined studies after school. Our final exam is starting in a few weeks.

Jimin : Oh yes! I almost forgot.

Y/n : I won't come..

Everyone paused and looked at you.

Y/n : I mean I have some work. At home.

They were confused, since you would never keep anything from them. So they figured it really must be something important and let it slide.

Jungkook : Guys! We're back!

All of you looked at the two, walking and smiling hand in hand, Swinging it back and forth. You smiled.

Jungkook: We have enough evidence from the CCTV footage to prove that we are innocent. They might still need us to be alibis.

Taehyung : Yup.

Jimin went and hugged both of them. Soon everyone joined in. You all giggled and laughed. It was warm.

Namjoon: Alright!! Can we go back to class now.

Everyone whined in a chaotic way. He facepalmed.

Namjoon: Everyone already left.

You all looked around. The ground was empty.

Hoseok : What are y'all waiting for?? It's physics now!!

All of you dashed back into the building,  running through the hallways.

I smiled at you, and you smiled at me.

Every second with you feels like it should last an eternity, Tae.

Time skip

Class is finally over, you're at the bus stop, waiting for the bus. You fidgeted with your fingers. You wondered why you were so nervous. 'I don't want to ruin your happiness, but you have to know. '

Y/n : Have you checked your phone?

Taehyung: Hm?

He was broken out of his deep thoughts. His bus arrived and he got up.

Y/n : Please check your phone. And yes! We're going out for lunch.

He nodded and smiled at you, before getting on the bus.

Taehyung POV

I am looking forward to the date but..

'What was she talking about?'

I took out my phone to check. A message from Jisoo.

Jinoona: Uncle is arrested.

Taehyung: What ?

Jinoona: I just got the news.
But some of his people are
coming at your place.

Taehyung : I don't want
to deal with them. But I'll
be there now.

Jinoona: I'm almost there
too.

Taehyung: Thank you.

Jinoona : Don't mension.

How is dad arrested? Why would he send his men here? I don't understand.

My stop came and I got off.

I came in front of the mansion.

There were a few of his hunks in suits. I straightened my back and put a blank face on my face. I approached them.

Taehyung: What are you all here for?

???: Master we are here to talk to you. May we come inside?

Taehyung: We're not going inside. Tell me whatever you want to here.

??? : Boss has been arrested so we need you to take over-

Taehyung: I am not doing anything. I had clearly told him not to involve me in any of his matters.

??? : But.

They froze for a second and then silently walked away.

I huffed and turned around. 'Cops?'

I looked back, the men had vanished into thin air.

The cars parked.

Well fuck.
