You shifted comfortably in the cosy blanket and stayed still for a while, till the warmth filled energy in you. Then you got up , timidly looking around.  You folded your blanket , kept it in the corner and exited the tent to go behind it, washed your face and brushed your teeth. You looked around, a thin mist filled the air, and everything looked beautiful. You came back and Hobi gave you a cup of warm milk. It radiated energy in you as you drank the lukewarm milk. Everyone was waking themselves and the others up, while Taehyung sat in a corner sketching.

Y/n : I love you hoba.

You said, as he smiled his sunshine smile. You wrapped your sweater tightly around you , put on a muffler and headed out again.

It was all too heavenly. No sooner did you look left than you saw the staff preparing a dining area at the far left corner of the area. You went up to the cloth roofed shade, with small decor and lighting which was being put up. Round dining tables with chairs were arranged. And there was a long serving counter to the front. "It's classy with a perfect aesthetic vibe"

Y/n : What is this for?

Staff: It's for tonight! The dinner. We have a few preps coming up.

You couldn't help but imagine what fun it would be. You informed the teacher incharge there that you were going for a walk.

The vaguely visible trees seemed to lure you in to the peaceful treasure within. You walked the trodded  path , saw, touched, smiled. It was peaceful, gentle, healing. You walked for long time , forgetting about everything else. Then with satisfaction, and realising that you've walked too far for too long, you followed your steps back to the camp site.

Jin : You're just in time for some boiling broth, made by me!

Y/n : Wah! The tent smells good!

Namjoon : You mean the broth?

Y/n : Uh pretty much, I meant the aroma.

You sat down before winking at him and he handed you the bowl.

Y/n : So, they lit the campfire?

Jin : Ofcourse not! Why would they light it just so we can make some breakfast? Anyway the flames would have been too big to cook. So, we made our own, I mean I, these children just brought the fire wood.

Jungkook: And now everyone is using our fire to make themselves some breaky! Mm, This is great by the way.

Everyone facepalmed as Jin smiled. Then the broth was finished to the last sip and everyone sat down, chatting and having some nice time , free from any pressure of the principal or stress of exams.

Jimin : We really are going to miss all of this once we graduate.

Hoseok : Really. We have no responsibilities and duties. Who knows what will happen when we go our own ways.

Namjoon: Right! Even if we don't keep in touch, we have unforgettable memories which we made. Though studying was a major-

Yoongi : Studies aren't that important, and I really don't want to be reminded of them right now. We came here to relax, so that's what we gonna do. We really did make wholesome memories.

Y/n : Why do you both always cut  each other's sentences?

Everyone giggled.

Jennie: I'm sure though, that we wouldn't separate even after we take up our own dreams and lives.

For some reason it made you smile at Taehyung, but he looked quite lost in whatever was going on here. Just then , the entrance of the zipped tent almost collapsed which caught everyone's attention. Then it opened.

Daisy: Um.. Come out everyone, we are going to have lunch and go in the woods for our projects now.

Namjoon: We'll be there in a while!

She left and he looked at Taehyung ,

Taehyung: She definitely forgot that you can't knock on this.

A roar of laughter filled the tent.

Teacher : Alright everyone! Quiet!!

She inhaled, trying to keep her calm. "What does he think is there inside the woods? Wolves and bears?"

Y/n : Why are you bothering me??

Jungkook: Just be careful, who knows what might-

Y/n : SHUT UP!!

Everyone fell silent. You looked around, trying to figure what just happened.

Teacher: Thank you y/n. So, you are all now going in the woods, for collecting the observations and take pictures for your projects. We have some tteokbokki, those who are hungry can have it, but I suggest you do since you all are going to be walking for long distances. You'll get five hours after that. Good luck!

Jin : Fill your stomach to the fullest!

~Time skip~

Everyone formed their pairs and left. You pulled Taehyung with you.

Taehyung: Can you please stop dragging me around?

Y/n : I know a perfect place where we can get the pictures! And what's more beautiful is the way there! Trust me.

You both entered the woods. There was a pleasant wind blowing. You deeply smelled the ait and turned to him, who was adjusting his camera.

Taehyung: Ready!

You smiled, and you both went deeper in, until you came across a beautiful tree, which had some mushrooms grown around it.

Taehyung: A perfect example of mycorrhiza , isn't it?

Y/n : Yeah! It's beautiful.

You both went under it. He knelt down, clicked a few, then on his knees carefully, and clicked some more, trying to get a perfect angle while you stood there , looking around. Just then , a strong breeze blew in a sway , shaking the branches of the tree, and a whole bunch of leaves, twigs and dust began raining down. You started dusting your clothes and hair, dancing around as some of it fell in your clothes. Taehyung stood up at the instance and your hand accidentally hit his cheek, hardly. Correction, it was more like a back handed slap. You laughed out loud in panic.

Y/n : Was that too hard? I'm so sorry!

You continued laughing.

Taehyung: It's alright.

He replied, and smiled, in contrary of his tightly closed fist which made his knuckles go white.

Y/n : Are you sure?

Taehyung: Yes.

He replied in a slight hiss. No , it definitely wasn't. His cheek had turned crimson in creases.

Y/n : Is your skin too sensitive?

You asked , gently stroking it with your thumb.

Taehyung: Yeah, I guess.

You frowned at his response. "There's something odd. It looks like it's an old bruise coming up"

Y/n : See! It's turning red now!

Taehyung: N-no. It-

He shrugged off your hand and turned away. "...was he blushing?" You giggled.

Taehyung: Ok, let's go deeper in. We need to take many more pictures.

He said , looking back at you. His golden bangs gently falling on his eyes. "His eyes are really beautiful.." You thought and continued walking further. Soon , you both came across a huge branched tree on which a few squirrels were playing. It's not like they were a rarity, at all, but seeing them in their natural habitat was fun. Taehyung immediately started imitating them, as if they were his long lost buddies. You laughed aloud at his actions, as he was jumping around, making faces and shaking his butt.

Y/n : Enough! S-Stop! Please!

This went on for a while, laughing and fooling around and ended with both of you laughed out loud.

Taehyung: Ok, let's go.

Y/n : That was great!

You both laughed and soon stumbled upon some thick moss growing on a stone.

Y/n : We would need this for the 4th type.

Taehyung: Yeah.

You said, leaning your back on a tree. He clicked a few wide angled pictures, changed the lense, and went for some more.

Taehyung: Are these alright?

Y/n : You are pretty good at this. 

Taehyung: And you're just standing there doing nothing.

Y/n : Rude. And please, I'm the the one who's looking for the attachments for our projects here!

Taehyung: Touché

He huffed, and got back to the job in hand. You stood there, looking around. Taehyung was slowly out of sight. You zoned out , for a long while, forgetting about everything else.

Taehyung: Y/N!!

You flinched and rushed in the direction of the call. Just as you crossed a few climbers, you closed your eyes as a gush of wind hit your face and a roar of water currents entered your ears. Before you could open them, a pair of hands covered them.

Taehyung: Trust me , this is more beautiful than anything that you've ever seen.

Y/n : Get your hands off- !

He took his hands off and stepped away leaving you in awe at the beautiful stream rushing down the glossy rocks with lush lines of weeds growing on the banks. The trees on the cliff further back shed dry leaves in the water, which flowed along. The afternoon rays gleamed on the water. It was almost ethereal.

Y/n : Oh my gosh! this-

"Wow..." You whispered at the beauty.

Taehyung: Just come down already!

Your wandering gaze landed on the slope which Taehyung was already descending jumping.

*whistle blows*

"Get back everyone! Time's up! 15minutes to get back to the camp site!

Y/n : Ahhh!!! Why did they have to come all the way here?? It's going to take more time than that to get back! Are they even thinking?!

Taehyung: It's alright. We'll come back.

Y/n : No! I'm NOT leaving!

"Not when it's so peaceful. No!"

Taehyung: C'mon! Don't be a baby.

He said while coming back up. You whined and pouted sadly.

Taehyung: We'll be back. Promise.

Y/n : Ok..

You both headed back. On the way , Taehyung kept pointing to beautiful shrubs and flowers and plants and birds. "He's always so considerate."

Taehyung: What's up with all this praising?

"Omo, did I say it out loud the last time too?"

Y/n : It's true. We don't even have an actual relation. Yet you do so many little things to make me feel better.

Taehyung: Is this not how it's supposed to be?

Y/n : Well, uh..

You looked away.

Y/n : It's just that I'm not used to this.

Taehyung: That's what you had done for me anyway. That's one way to put it... Your family always, uh,  prioritises you, doesn't it? You can't forget them..

Y/n : Yes, actually..

His words hit hard. You had different little realisations unfold slowly. Memories flowed in the head. " How did I not think about this? It was so very important for me. I had been miserable. When mom wasn't with us.. when he left me. They did consult me, but never gave me long lectures about anything."

Taehyung: Were in you in any relationship in the past?

His question made you stop in your tracks he held your arm gently. "I-.. "

Y/n : Yes.. And as you said, they had done all they can for me...   I was not well at that time, at all, and they were there for me, and I truly value it. And that was the end of that chapter for me. But I never realised how much they actually gave up for me. It's a funny thing really..

You realised, he wasn't listening anymore. "Why is he so?" He was blankly staring at the ground, with the same emotionless expression. He looked hollow. You put a hand on his shoulder which put him out of his trance. He looked eyes with you, and your mind went blank for a second, it was killing you. You continued.

Y/n : If you're comfortable, you can speak out things , you know? I was always very sensitive about this , but now I feel more.. sane? I mean if you don't feel like it.

Taehyung: That's not it! I would.... Oh look! We're running out of time. Maybe we can talk about this later.

Y/n : Alright. No issue.

"No pushing. Remember. He should be comfortable." You both continued walking again. Soon, the camp site came in sight. You both entered the tent.

Jennie: Oh! Come join us! We were about to start the game.

She said, placing the deck of Uno in between the circle formed.

Y/n : I'm in!

Taehyung: I'd rather sketch-.. uh sure!

He smiled and sat down. It was a fun game. It went on for about an hour, bickering, hitting and rolling on the floor till Jungkook finally won.

Jimin : Arghh!! That reverse and block !

Jungkook: Told you! No one can use them like I do!

Everyone laughed.

Namjoon: No fair though! Taehyung and Jimin seem to have some kind of code language.

They shared a few glances, then looked away, looked back again, chuckled and shared a high five.

Jisoo : Seriously?

She rolled her eyes.

Daisy : Half an hour for the dinner y'all! Get ready.

Jimin : Okay miss!

Everyone sighed and then got busy in picking their outfits.

Y/n : It's less like a party and more like a chill aesthetic dinner. So, dress accordingly.

Everyone nodds.

Y/n : Dress up good Tae!

Taehyung: Sure will.

You went to Jen to ask her if the outfit you chose was good. While everyone was starting at you two. "They..... what?"

Y/n: Sup?

Hoba: Nothing.

He was the one trying to hold in his laugh.

Jennie: We're going to make this a memorable one.

Y/n : Yess!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a long while. But I hope it's worth the wait. I'm writing regularly, but don't get enough time to type it out due to the fast approaching finals

But I'm really passionate, and I'll try my best, to improve.
Nevertheless, the next episode is something y'all shouldn't miss , whenever I manage to post it, that is ಥ⁠_⁠ಥ
