Part 61 Absolver

Seeing their nervousness, Arnav smirked.

"Vishva, the moon raised..." Vinoth said.

Vishva looked at the moon and then at Arnav.

"Why didn't you transform?" He asked Arnav.

"What do you talk?" Arnav asked frowning.

"Today is a full moon day. you are supposed to transform as a werewolf... don't you?"

"Werewolf? Why would I transform into a werewolf? It would happen with a Werewolf, not with me"

"That's why I'm asking you. Are not you a werewolf?"

"Who said?"

"SP sir"

"Then, go and ask him..."

"I will surely tell him. Before that, you answer me"

"Why would I answer you? Do I say I'm a werewolf? You guys arrested me on suspicion. You brought me here, kept me in this room without giving me food, and ate my lunch too. Then, why do you question me now?"

"That means, are not you a Werewolf?"

"I'm in front of you the full moon is in the sky. Did I transform?"

Vishva was weary.

That was when they heard a few footsteps. Vishva and the team were horrified to see Arvind coming with his wife. There was a MIRROR in his hand. Composing themselves, they saluted him.

Arvind and Ratna looked at Arnav who was in HUMAN form. They looked at him with disbelief. They glanced at each other and looked at Arnav who averted his gaze controlling his smile. Arvind and Ratna raised their brows as they understood the reason. They could not believe it. Arnav looked at them through the corner of his eyes smilingly.

"Chotte..." They were overwhelmed.

Arvind threw the mirror away happily. Ratna and Arvind rushed to him and opened the door. Arnav came out of the room smiling. Ratna hugged him emotionally. Arvind asked something through his eyes. Arnav bit his lip smiling. Arvind sighed in relief. Ratna broke the hug and kissed his forehead. They understood Arnav got rid of the CURSE.

Arnav composed himself and said,

"Dad, they brought me here as they suspected I was a werewolf," Arnav said.

Arvind made up himself and looked at Vishva.

"Do you know what you have done?"

"Sir, it's SP sir's order. We just did what he said" He said bowing down.

"He has a gun with the silver bullet to kill me if I transform, Dad" Arnav added.

Arvind and Ratna were shocked as they didn't expect Shashi to go to the extent of killing Arnav.

"So, you guys were planning to kill my son?"

"Sir, SP sir suspected he is a werewolf. That's why..." he said feeling dejected.

"I don't know our department guys believed a Werewolf that's a MYTH"

"We don't believe werewolf, sir. We could not do anything as it was the SP sir ordered"

Arvind looked at the cameraman. The camera was still running.

"This cameraman waited to record my transformation"

Arvind looked at the cameraman.

"I was ordered to record what was happening here, sir. I know nothing other than that"

"Did you record everything that happened here?"

"Yes, sir"

"Give me the memory card"

The cameraman removed the memory card and gave it to Arvind. Taking his mobile, Arvind clicked the cameraman's photo.

"Sir, why do you capture my photo sir?"

"You are the eyewitness of whatever happened here. That's why."

He gulped down.

"Give me your studio card"

The cameraman gave him his card.

"You can go now. You have to come to the court if needed"

He nodded ok fearfully.

"I would not have come here if I had known why they called me here" he walked away murmuring.

"We are sorry sir..." Vishva said.

"I'm glad at least you waited for the transformation instead of killing him right away"

"We were ordered to kill him only after his transformation, sir. That's why we arranged the cameraman..."

Cutting him,

"So that, you could show the video as a prof to handle the human rights commission, right?"

They looked down. Arvind looked at Arnav and said,

"Let's go, Chotte"

"Sir, we are sorry, sir... please don't take action against us, sir" Vishva and his team followed him pleadingly.

"Go and request the same to the SP sir," Ratna said, heated up.

They stopped seeing Khushi rushing with a mirror. She stopped getting thunderstruck, seeing Arnav standing in the HUMAN form. Aman looked at Khushi with confusion.

"Uncle, did you stop him from transforming, showing the mirror?" Khushi asked.

"Mirror? Why beta?" Arvind asked.

Khushi was supposed to say something but stopped seeing Ratna gesturing for her not to talk. Khushi saw the policemen coming from the building. Khushi glared at them.

"Oh... you are my father's team? I'm not going to leave any one of you. I'm going to take this case to the Human Rights Commission..." She said gritting her teeth.

They left the place silently.

"It seems your idea of showing a mirror to the werewolf worked..." Aman said in a low tone.

Khushi nodded yes.

"I was so scared when Khushi said, you are a werewolf," Aman said feeling scared.

"Werewolf? Who said he is a werewolf?" Ratna asked.

Khushi was taken aback and Aman looked at Khushi.

"It's a rumor... see, he is in a human form..."

"Whaaaat?" Khushi frowned.

"But, Khushi said..."

Khushi was supposed to say something but again stopped, seeing Ratna signaling her. She didn't know what was happening there.

"SP sir was in the misconception. He thought Arnav was a werewolf but he is not" Arvind said looking at Khushi.

"But, Arnav said he is a werewolf," Khushi said could not hold herself back because she didn't want Aman to misunderstand her.

"He just said that for fun," Arvind said.

Khushi dropped her jaw. She gritted her teeth.

"Fun? Do you know how stressed I was...? I fought with my father and created a big scene but you made fun of me...?"

Arnav gestured to her something but she could not understand that.

"What the hell are you trying to do?" She raised her hand to hit him.

Ratna signaled him to run. Arnav started running and Khushi chased him.

"Do you know how tensed Khushi was...! Poor girl" Aman said.

"SP sir asked Arnav if he was a werewolf. He said yes for fun. He thought he would not believe it but he planned to kill him. Tell me Aman, how could anyone be a werewolf?"

Aman nodded yes.

"I think Khushi also believed it," Aman said.

Ratna and Arvind nodded yes.

"Thank you for helping Khushi, Aman. You are a true friend who wanted to save your friend" Ratna said.

"Mom, we are friends... I wanted to save Arnav because he is a nice guy. But, before Khushi hits him, save him from her" Aman laughed.

"He deserves it" Ratna chuckled.

"I'm leaving Mom"

"You are invited to Chotte's wedding"

"You don't have to invite me, Mom. It's our family wedding" Aman walked smilingly.

In the meanwhile,

Arnav came to the turning of the road and stopped. Khushi was about to hit him, but Arnav clutched her hand.

"I didn't lie"

Khushi looked at him perplexed.

"Whatever I told you is absolutely, true"

"Then, how would not you transform?"

"It's because I'm relieved from the curse"

"Whaaaat? Relieved? Really?" Khushi asked excitedly.

Arnav nodded yes. Khushi hopped on him and hugged him tight.

"How did it happen? What's the cause?"

"YOU"

Khushi pulled herself from the hug and looked at him frowning.

"Me?"

"Yes... you are my ABSOLVER"

Khushi raised her brows and asked,

"Is our consummation the reason?"

Arnav nodded yes.

"Why didn't you tell me about it?"

"I was not sure about it"

"Why?"

"The cause of the absolution is my curse will go when a girl SUBMITS herself to me WHOLEHEARTEDLY even after KNOWING THE TRUTH but she SHOULD NOT KNOW, I WOULD GET RID OF THE CURSE if she accepted me. That's why I don't tell you that"

"Do you know you are relieved from the curse when we intimated?"

"I know yet I was not sure"

"Why?"

"You were under the pressure of proving your love to me. I didn't know if you submit yourself wholeheartedly or under pressure"

"But, we intimated for two times. Still, were you doubt?"

"Not only that time, I had been doubting every minute after our intimacy. I could not believe it I got rid of the curse. How could I believe it until the full moon appeared?"

"You could have told me after I submitted myself to you."

"Then, you would like to do it again to make it firm... I didn't know whether it would work if you did that after knowing the truth...! I was confused. As full moon day approached, my fear increased. I was nervous like hell"

"This is why did you come to my house the previous day of the full moon day?"

"You are my sweetheart" he pressed his lips on her forehead.

"Yes... You have no idea how happy I was when you showed me the dawn. I felt like the world was under my feet. I wanted to adore you keeping all my hesitation aside. I didn't know how to thank you. As I didn't expect, the session gave me a clear picture of my absolution that you missed noticing"

"I SWEATED and you wiped it"

"Won't werewolf sweat?"

"Would they sweat? They let out only SALIVA"

"That means, did you REALLY get rid of the curse?" She asked excitedly.

"Because of you... I got rid of the curse"

Khushi hugged him excitedly.
