Part 57 Unanticipated

"Khushi, you missed to notice something"

Khushi looked at him like what was that.

"What are you talking about, Arnie?"

"Guess..."

"I noticed many things today but I don't know what you are talking about," she said.

"Really? What did you notice?"

"You changed a lot..."

Arnav smiled.

"It's true... you changed me. Then?"

"There is no hesitation in your action. You didn't hesitate to do anything, unlike the first time. You even ordered me. I sensed a rightfulness in your tone"

"Don't I have right on you?" he smiled.

"You had it last time too but you were so hesitant and tried to avoid me but today, you behaved like my husband" She pinched his cheek.

"According to me, you are my wife. No one can change that"

"It's going to be true... I'm going to be your wife officially"

"Mmm..."

"That's what made you feel free?"

Arnav nodded no.

"You made me feel free, taking a LEAD. You have no idea what does it mean for me"

"You wanted to leave. I know you don't want to do it. That's why I took the lead"

"It's FULL MOON tomorrow" his tone became low.

Khushi touched his cheek.

"I know"

Arnav was perplexed.

"That's why you were adamant to take it further?"

"I already told you, I can't share your pain but I will be there for you after every painful full moon night. If needed, I will make you forget about the full moon day going to any extent."

Arnav kissed her palm that was holding his cheek.

"I don't know what I'm going to do for you, Khushi"

Khushi was supposed to say something, but he stopped her putting his index finger on her lips.

"Only I know the value of your actions. Before I met you, I had been a cursed man but now, I feel blessed. You are my blessing"

"But, my grandpa gave you a painful life by cursing you"

"You made me forget my pain. You are my sweetheart" he pressed his lips on her forehead.

Khushi met his eyes smilingly.

"You are a gem of a person. You deserve happiness. I'm glad to be the reason for your happiness" She pulled his nape and kissed his forehead.

"I hope you are not upset with me for taking advantage," Arnav asked.

She nodded her head from left to right blinking her eyes.

"I'm so pleased..." he again kissed her forehead.

"Seeing you happy, I'm also happy"

He lay on her shoulder and said,

"Shall I go?"

Khushi caressed his hair not answering.

"I don't feel like going away from you, Khushi"

She kissed his hair.

"It's not about sex... I just want to be with you but I know I have to wait until our wedding"

"Only a few days..."

He snuggled more. Khushi caressed his hair lovingly. Within a few minutes, Arnav dozed off. Khushi let him sleep. She didn't want to disturb him. She knew he could not sleep the next night as it was a full moon night. He would be chained up in the underground room of his house. He would undergo a painful transformation. A lonely tear slipped from her eyes. She closed her eyes, biting her lip.

She opened her eyes jerking. Didn't Arnav ask her that, she missed noticing something? What was that? Though she wanted to know that, she didn't want to disturb his sleep. She thought to ask him about it the next day. So, she slept hugging him.

Arnav woke up from his sleep and found himself hugging Khushi. He smiled thinking about their intimacy. He kissed her cheek softly.

He looked at the clock. It was 4 am. He got off the bed. He had to go home before his parents woke up. If he had not been at home, his parents would question him.

Dressing up, he wrote a chit and kept it on the side table as he didn't want to disturb Khushi. he slowly came to the balcony and looked down. He saw the security sleeping, covering himself with a thick woolen sheet. Without making a noise, he went to the compound wall and jumped over it. Without starting his bike, he brought it away from the SP bungalow by rolling it. After coming a little aloof, he started the bike and left the place.

Arnav had no idea he was watched. Shashi Gupta who just came home saw him jumping over the compound wall of the SP bungalow. He tightened his jaws. This was going abroad. It seemed Arnav had crossed his limits already. he had to do something immediately to stop all the nonsense.

Shashi called someone. The call was attended. He ordered him something and disconnected the call furiously.

Arnav came home and jumped inside his room through the window. He fell on the bed delightedly. What a blissful moment with Khushi...! How lucky he was to have such an understanding and broad-minded girl...! There were only a few days to their wedding. After that, Khushi would be with him forever. He himself felt a big difference in himself. He didn't expect him to apply his rights to Khushi. She was a sweetheart. That was why she didn't take any of his actions wrong. He smiled. he didn't get sleep. Yet, he didn't feel to get off the bed.

The next morning

Khushi came downstairs to have tea. She saw Shashi having tea.

"Good morning, beta, " he said smilingly.

"Good morning, Dad. When did you come?"

"4o'clock"

"Did you send the CM off?"

"Yeah... that's why I was late"

"Then why did you wake up earlier?"

"I have an important work"

Khushi sighed.

"Could you get an hour's permission today?" Shashi asked.

"Permission? Why Dad?"

"I would like to buy jewels for you"

"Dad, I don't like jewels. you know that."

"But, you should wear some jewels at your wedding"

"I will wear Mom's jewels"

"You can wear it anytime but buying new jewels for the wedding is a custom. What will I do with my savings if I don't spend it for my daughter's wedding?"

"Are not you upset with me, Dad?"

Shashi sighed.

"I always want you to be happy. I will do anything to keep you happy"

"Thank you, Dad"

"Get ready... we will go to the jewelry shop"

Khushi nodded ok. Taking her mobile, she messaged Arnav that she would be one hour late to college as she would go to the shop to buy jewels for their wedding.

Shashi smiled inwardly because he wanted the same.

Arnav got ready for the college. He wanted to be with Khushi. He didn't feel to be away from her. Getting dressed up finely, he took his mobile and saw Khushi's message. He read it and sighed disappointedly. She would be late to the college. He felt weary. He should have to wait for herm, sitting on their bench alone. He came out of the room.

Ratna kept the lunch boxes in the dining.

"Chotte, I prepared vegetable biriyani. Khushi will like it" She said.

"She will like whatever you prepare for her, Mom. She is a nice girl" Arnav said and sat on the chair.

Ratna smiled.

"Mmm... it seems someone is so excited about his wife as his wedding is nearing..." She said teasingly.

"Won't I be?"

"Absolutely..."

Arnav ate the breakfast smilingly.

"You are so lucky to have Khushi in your life, Chotte..."

Arnav nodded yes. Ratna pinched his cheek and kissed her fingers.

"Be smiling... it's so pleasant to see"

Arnav stood smiling.

"Bye, Mom" Taking the lunch boxes, he left the place.

College

Arnav came to the college and stopped the bike. He looked behind as someone called him.

"Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada..."

"Yes..."

"SP sir is waiting for you in a jewelry shop. He wants you to join them. It's a surprise for his daughter..."

Arnav smiled and nodded. He was supposed to take his bike,

"We will take you to the shop. He said he would drop you and his daughter in the college later"

Arnav nodded ok. He took a back seat. Two officers sat with him on either side. The driver started the car. They closed the window doors. In no time, they handcuffed Arnav, making him shocked.

"What are you doing?"

"We suspect you to be a werewolf," one of them said.

Arnav was shocked to the core.

"I'm not..." he stammered.

"We will get to know that tonight," They said, making him horrified as that day was a FULLMOON day.
