Sunday Things and Door Bell Rings
Sunday morning was hectic to say the least. You were up early, as per usual, to clean, cook, and get ready for the company coming over. Your apartment was modest and a tad spacious for only one occupant, but it worked conveniently for you as the spare room functioned as a mini studio space for the weekends when Tisch's studios were most crowded. Quickly glancing down at the clock you knew you needed to get to mass, so as you ran out the door you grabbed your choir book and turned the stove off.
Tom's POV
Zendaya had all of us up early so we could go to (Y/N)'s place. I could really tell that the two of them were close considering all the support they give each other, in fact their friendship is reminiscent of Harrison and I's. I had Tess with me since Zendaya said that (Y/N)'s apartment did allow pets. The five of us walked and soon arrived at (Y/N)'s apartment. We came right on in, (Y/N) must have gotten here not too long before us because while she was in some casual clothing, her choir book and handbag were on the countertop. I had to hold in a smile because she must not have heard us come in because she had her pointe shoes on and headphones in while she practiced her fouettés in the living area.
Finally Tess started barking and (Y/N) turned around. Her face flushed with embarrassment and quickly she took out her headphones and sauntered over to welcome us. Tess had ideas of her own and tackled (Y/N) giving her tons of kisses as she laughed the most beautiful laugh I had ever heard.
"She likes you," I smiled.
"She's beautiful, is..."
"Tess," I interrupt.
"Is Tess a Blue Staffy?"
"Yes she is."
"You better watch out Tom, because (Y/N) here has been wanting to adopt a dog and if you're not careful Tessa might end up staying here in New York instead of going home to London with you," Zendaya chuckled.
"Really now? What kind of dog are you considering?"
"In all honesty I would love to have any kind of dog, but I have told the shelter here that has 3 dogs they can't keep for much longer because of space that if by the end of the month any of them are left I would take one. The three they have are a German Shorthaired Pointer, a Frenchton, and an English Springer Spaniel. As of now the Pointer and the Spaniel have families interested in them, but that could change by the end of the month."
The conversation continued on as (Y/N) talked so passionately about how much she loved animals and her desire to own one. As the good finished she guided us out to the terrace since the day was so beautiful where she had set up a table with plates and silverware. The view from the flat was astounding and the small garden up here was well cared for and flourished beautifully. As we all settled in, (Y/N) brought out food and drinks.
