This portion of a ballet class could be split into two smaller sections, petit and grand. Like the name suggests, the movement in this section is quick paced and much livelier. Often times this segment of the class is used to perfect jumps and turns. Some of the moves associated with Allegro would be changement, assemble, fouette, and saut de chat.
