Hey Everyone :) thanks for reading and sharing all of you thoughts, that really encourages me a lot while writing to do my best. Anyways the next chapter is finally gonna be the Theories chapter so make sure to share all of your thoughts and guesses so I can include them in that chapter. Back to this chapter, to write it I had to read everything that I wrote from the beginning of the story so I wouldn't miss any small details cause this chapter is filled with all the important details (no new info.) Just to remind u of everything that happened, before the big reveals in the next chapter, chapter 14. Another shoutout for salmaMabbas ;)

Chapter 13

Detective Ethan, Detective James, and David sat listening to Maria telling them every single detail of everything that happened ever since she met Sia; she kept chatting, chatting and chatting till Ethan lost patience and interrupted "WOW, you really can talk non-stop for hours! I'm an old man that's too much for me" James and David laughed, but Maria was angry, then he continued "So to summarize, and please let me do that job cause I'd be a lot briefer, Sierra is a fake name so are Jessica and Cassidy, her real name is Sia and she used to work for some drug organisation with Lily whom we don't know her real name yet along with Ben and Lucy who have fake names that we don't know yet either, but they were at the party too." they all nodded "and there's the He whom they all work for."

"Exactly, so Sia was in Veronaville then she took the train to Sunset on June 24th, and went to Andrew's where she held the party in which she was gonna tell everybody the truth, but before she did, the lights went off and Lily hit her with the back of the dagger so that she wouldn't scream then stabbed her to death while wearing gloves to remove all prints. Sia initially intended to leave the day after the party, June 25th, to Twinbrook, probably where Caleb is buried now after she finished her revenge." David said

"Lily told me that Ben and Lucy forced her to kill Sia because she wanted a way out of the business, but apparently, once you're in, you can not get out. Sia must have felt guilty after her brother died of a drug overdose 2 months ago, that's when all of this started." Maria added "there're something else that I missed, Sia was really rich I remember her clothes and accessories at the train and her bag was the new louis vutton collection, so I guess she used all her money and the money from the house for the heroin"

"The Autopsy showed that she was 6 weeks pregnant and the baby daddy wasn't Jackson, it was Andrew's. Also that she had a high percentage of immune suppressive drugs in her system cause they were already trying to kill her, but they couldn't wait any longer once they knew at the party that she was gonna tell everything. Nina and Ricky had the bottle of the drugs and only their fingerprints were on it, so either they're innocent and they're being framed or they did it. but they weren't smart enough to get rid of all evidence " said detective James "I think that sums it all up, we should discuss each suspect individually."

"I agree," Maria said enthusiastically "let's start with Andrew, I can't be the only one thinking he's totally suspicious and creepy. I saw him following Sia on the train from Veronaville to Sunset, he was staring at me when I first arrived here, he kept following me and trying to talk to me several times and he's the father. What more evidence do you need to start realizing he's guilty."

"Let's not forget that he knew her real." David backed her up

"That explains why he was late for the party, cause he was following Sia." Ethan added, "Both Eve and Jackson agreed he was acting weird during the party and he was sort of nowhere to be found."

"I know all of these facts and a lot of things point to him, but ,still, my mind always goes to Ricky in that case," James said

"The History teacher dating his student?" Maria asked

"Yeah, I think he's manipulating Nina to do his dirty work that's why he either gave her the immune suppressive drugs to hide or put them in her bag from behind her back to blame her for the murder. Also, Miranda saw him outside just before the lights went off and Eve saw him eavesdropping on Lily and Nina at the kitchen. They never had real arguments in front of people, but what if he's Ben and Nina is Lucy that would also mean that the talk Lily and Nina had at the kitchen wasn't about Ed, Lily's ex who also happened to be Sia's ex at college, but the conversation was about killing Sia." James replied

"That's a pretty good theory, but why didn't they take care of Nina's blood which was on the dagger?" David asked

"Maybe that was Ricky's plan from the beginning, kill Sia, get Lily killed too and frame Nina for the whole thing in order to take all the heroin for himself," Ethan said

"I don't believe Eve and I don't think neither Lily's testimony nor Miranda's is a solid evidence." Maria said "Lily was crazy, she tried to kill me, she killed Sia and she already killed someone else before when she volunteered as a nurse then she pretends to have a fear of blood and fainted when she saw the body of the woman whom she killed! Plus who dates her friend's ex anyway? I saw Miranda sneaking out of the Buckley's house when I went there with Liam and didn't you say before she was so calm and confident during the interrogations, I believe it was all an act so she wouldn't look nervous and GUILTY"

"Speaking of Liam," David said directing his words to detective Ethan "I apologize detective, but it's a fact he's a suspect and I can't deny that the whole situation with helping Jackson was kind of intriguing."

"Yeah, totally, he pretended to help me break and enter the Buckley's house, but turns outs he was just helping Jackson figure out if I was guilty"

"Liam never mentioned it to me," Ethan said

"I need to ask you something detective, the day before the whole Lily accident, I was at the station and so were you, what were you doing there?" Maria asked

"I was checking if the information Eve gave us about the ticket from Veronaville to Sunset was true, but I swear it had nothing to do with my son. All I know is that Sia reached out to him cause she needed his help." Answered Ethan

"Speaking of Eve, that bitch is getting on my nerve, she's evil! She blackmailed Sia for stealing her boyfriend even though she cheated on him with a director to cast her in his ad, she gave her that cream that ruined her hair, and as a girl with really short hair that doesn't grow longer, I'm furious and all she cares about is her freaking reputation." Maria said

"Eve says she received an invitation to the party, someone must have wanted her to attend as a distraction cause she hated Sia," James said

"Well, I bet you she made that invitation and sent it to herself, she's a sociopath!" Maria continued

"Maybe," David said "But let's get back to Jackson. First of all, he's the boyfriend, the number one suspect, and Sia was pregnant with someone else's baby which is another motive besides the heroin. He also had Sia's phone which was said to call when the notebook was found which is weird shouldn't the police take all of her personal stuff like her phone?"

"We have her phone, that was some kind of spare phone I guess," Ethan said

"He was also trying to convince Liam that Maria is guilty" David added

"Well, to be honest, I messed up in that one," Maria said blushing

"Scarlet Johanson?" James laughed

"What was that?" Ethan asked

"Nothing important, we can skip that one till like forever, not my finest moment."

"Okay, lets' take a little break," Ethan said then went to the toilet while James went to make some coffee

David turned to Maria "Are things gonna be okay between us?"

"I really hope so, but for now, I'm really mad David, you could have helped me a long time ago, but you didn't trust me with your secret just like you got mad before when you heard I was staying with detective James."

"I really didn't mean to upset you, you know that I love you."

"I know and you know that I do too, but at this moment, I'm feeling more devistated than anything else, so I'm trying to put all of that energy on solving this and maybe then I really hope things can be good again between us."

"Sorry to interrupt." James came back with coffee and they all drank

"So, the doctor and his wife left," said Ethan

"I think they're my number one suspects, Sia was smart she kept her friends close and her enemies closer by staying at their place, so it was easy for them to put the drugs into her personal stuff, creams, perfumes,.. etc that why he took them when the autopsy report showed the drugs in her system. They both fought with Sia before she got killed, he carries sedatives around? and you said he looked different, distracted and worried the day he was getting tested at the hospital, maybe he knew you were getting closer to him." David replied

"The nurse also said he was acting weird ever since Sia got murdered. What if he made his wife pretend to have a breakdown so she wouldn't speak the truth. The nurse said Keira told her 'I saw them kissing', but when I asked her she said Sia and Andrew which could be true, but also she could have seen Sia and Wesley, that would be a good reason for Keira to fight with her and also Wesley to fight with her." James said

"This is really messed up, I'm starting to think they all killed her, everyone keeping secrets, everyone lying, everyone has motives," Maria added

"We need to figure out who Ben and Lucy are before they send someone else to kill you!" David said to her

"We should set a trap for them," Ethan said

"And how is that?" Maria asked

"By using you as bait, you're really brave Maria and one last time we need your help. Ben and Lucy are going rogue cause they're afraid of you. We should send individual invitations to every one of the suspects to come here if you let us use your apartment detective James. We're gonna have a small party and when the guests arrive you're gonna spread the word that you finally know the murderer and that you're gonna reveal it with dinner, but you'll have protection, detective James, your boyfriend and Liam."

"I'm not gonna let you use my girlfriend as a worm for you to fish your murderer, this is serious shit and she already got hurt too many time, sorry sir, but I can't agree to this," David said

"David, calm down, there's gonna be protection, things will go well and nothing bad is gonna happen to me, don't worry."

"You can't be serious about this!"

"Well, I am. I know that it's dangerous okay? But we're so close and if I'm useful to figuring out the truth then I don't mind and all of you will be there to protect me."

"I know that whatever I'm gonna say now won't change your mind once you decide on something, so okay, I'm in, but I don't trust Liam, no offense detective."

"I need him to cover my place since I'm not gonna be here," Ethan replied

"Where will you be?" James asked

"I'm going to Veronaville to know what Sia was doing there since we now know all of her identities, it's easier to track her down and follow her path. I think Veronaville is either where the HE is or the foundation of that drug organisation, I'm going there the first thing in the morning and you should send the invitations too then." Ethan said

"Okay, and let us know what you get. I know Maria this could be frightening for you, but know that we'll be there for you, David and me, and I'll guess we'll have to try and trust Liam."

They all sat silently thinking of the plan whether it's a great plan that will finally lead them to the killer or is it gonna just be putting Maria in danger.
