jeremy slammed his hand down on his blaring alarm clock, groaning as he slid from out beneath the covers. it was monday, his least favorite day. he had to start seeing people he hates for the next five days.
after doing his morning needs and putting on a simple gray sweater, black skinny jeans and his timberlands he walked downstairs. he grabbed a granola bar and a vitamin water before going out to the car where his sister was waiting.
"i really dont wanna go today." jeremy muttered as he climbed into the car tiredly.
"too bad bub, we have school, and plus i think you should try and talk to anders today... after all, it is his 18th birthday." when emily had said the last part jeremy practically choked on his drink.
"i-it is?" he asked with wide eyes, she just nodded and continued driving.
once they got to the school they saw anders and his friends crowded by the front door. anders was holding multiple balloons in his hand and had the boggest smile on his face.
then he saw jeremy, his smile didn't disappear, i just got smaller. he pulled out his phone and typed for a bit, not long after jeremy got a notification.
anders
sit by me in bio:)
jeremy didnt reply he just looked up at anders and smiled. why did he have the sudden change of heart?
"hey jer bear! how was you depressing weekend?" michael put his free arm around jeremy, his other hand holding onto lucys.
"depressing." jeremy mumbled, pushing off michaels arm.
"you guys going to anders birthday party on friday?" emily asked and the couple nodded, jeremy just shrugged.
they walked to their lockers and then to class, jeremy didnt have bio until second hour. so he sat in ms. brusk's geometry class, wanting to actually jump off the tallest building.
once the bell rang he grabbed his bag and headed for bio. he sat in his usual spot in the back, the was always an empty seat because no one wanted to sit by him. anders had walked in just before the bell, he had a crown on his head that he wore like an idiot.
the thing about anders was that he loved his birthday. yeah people usually love their birthdays, but to anders it was more. he didnt care for the gifts, or the attention, the was something more to him than that.
"a crown? really?" jeremy had to admit he looked quite good with it, but it was irritating. anders looked good with everything.
"do you not like it? i-i can take it off." anders stammered and went to take it off, jeremy grabbed his hands to stop him.
"no, you look cute." jeremy mumbled, immediately blushing at his own words.
"well, we can get you little tiara and you can be my princess." anders winked, jeremys face went from a pink to a cherry red.
"i-i-" "you would make a cute princess." anders interrupted jeremys stuttering and somehow caused the boy to become more red than before.
"pl-please an-anders youre g-gonna kill me." jeremy stuttered and anders smiled.
"im sorry for ignoring you, i just, i had to figure some things out." anders said, as the teacher walked in.
"d-did you figure them out?" jeremy asked and anders shrugged.
"not really, its hard to figure out feelings when youre not around the person that gives you them." anders responded.
"vivian?" jeremy asked and anders scoffed.
"no." anders responded, jeremy had no idea who he was talking about.
"okay, so is this mystery person a boy or a girl?" jeremy asked, doodling in his notebook.
"b-boy." anders whispered, taking off his crown and fixing his hair.
"are you ever gonna answer my question? from the diner, you kinda just left me hanging." jeremy asked and anders breathed in deeply.
"im still trying to figure it out, obviously." anders said and the younger nodded.
"well i can help you."
