A six months after Sliver joined the Secret Freedom Fighters, Silver got a break through in figuring who the traitor would be among the Freedom Fighters. Silver walked into the HQ, to ask for permission to go in his own for a while, to see if he could find more information...but he wasn't going to get his answer so easily.

Slivers P.O.V:

I knew it. He wouldn't let me go so easily off on my own. It's not fair! Even though I'm a member of this team I need some time to myself as well! "But sir! I have to figure out who the traitor is! I don't want any one to get suspicious or get anyone else in this world involved.", me and Harry Who were in a room by our selves and I was trying to convince him to let me be on my own for a while. "I'm sorry Silver but a member of the tema on their own may seem weak." was he trying to insult me? Because it was working all right! "Are you calling me weak? You should know by now sir that I'm defiantly not weak!", and wouldn't you know that Shard just walked into the room...great timing buddy, great timing.

Shards POV:

I have no idea what I had just walked into. It must've been important because the moment I walked in Harry and Silver stopped talking, I think I walked in on a bad time. "Silver I have just the solution to your problem, why not take Shard? You two haven't even said a word to each other even though your partners.", wait what...take me? Take me where? I'm getting confused now. But what ever it was Silver didn't look to happy about it "But I can go on my own! I don't need back up!", "You either take it or you don't go out at all.", was that what this was about? Did Silver get a clue about the traitor? "Fine, I'll take him. Come on Shard, we have work to do.", getting more and more confused I asked "We do?" he obviously didn't like my answered in a sarcastic tone "Yes we do...now come on!" he said that as he ran out the room. I followed close behind him.

Fifteen miles away from the SFF HQ, Silver and Shard were on top of a hill trying to figure out which direction to take. Silver was think about heading to Mobotropolis to see if anything unusual had happened there, he wasn't very worried about going since he was a usual sight to see there, Shard on the other hand wasn't very fond of the idea of going there being a metal sonic and all. "I think we should go to Mobotropolis, we might have a better chance there", "Are you sure about that? In case you haven't noticed I'm a metal sonic...they wouldn't want me near their city". "Well, that's kind of the point, I don't need back up and I'll prove it to him", "So you basically want to ditch me.", "Yeah, that's the idea.". Shard was getting more annoyed at Silver not just because he wouldn't give him a chance, but because he wanted to ditch him on a hill...he was trying to have someone he can count on while on a mission. Or just have someone to tell stuff to in general. "Look Silver, either I go whit you, or I go back and tell Harry about this after I tell him that he wouldn't let you go out ever. What do you say?", Silver thought about that for a while Shard was right though, if Harry knew about him ditching Shard, he wouldn't let him go out alone...even though he didn't want to bring Shard along whit him he couldn't think of a better idea. "Fine, Shard you can come.", "Great, let's go.", Silver flew off before Shard finished his sentence Shard followed him...well this friendship was off to a great start...
