Chloe's POV

"Goodmorning honey"
Max whispers while giving me a quick kiss on the cheek.
I turn around wrapping myself in the blankets like a burrito and groan.
"Really we literally got engaged yesterday and you are already stealing the covers."
I chuckle and turn myself to Max opening up my burrito cocoon.
Max snuggles against me and I let the covers drop over her.
"You know I'm not a morning person."
"I know I just like to tease you."
"I wouldn't like it any other way."
I say and give her a quick kiss.
A phone starts ringing and I push Max out of the burrito.
"It's yours it's always yours." I say while Max stares at me.
She sticks her middle finger in my face and answers the phone.
"Oh hey Kate what's up."
I crawl out of my comfortable blankets and hug her from behind while kissing her in her neck.
"Dinner? sure what's the ocasion."
I look up at the word dinner. Are we going out. Not that I don't want to but it kinda interupts my I wanna stay in bed all day mood.
I sigh and Max gives me a look that I need to shut up.
I love Kate and Mike I really do but bruh I don't want to get hella fancy tonight.
"Ok we'll see you there I can't wait to hear your surprise. I have one too.
See you tonight bye Kate."
Max hangs up and wraps her arms around me.
"So what was that about?"
"Kate has something to say, she sounded really pumped I don't know what it can be."
"Sounds suspicious want to bet on what it is?"
Max rolls her eyes.
"You always need to make a game out of everything don't you."
"Hey it keeps things interesting!"
"Fair enough I'm going to gues Mike proposed."
We are laying in eachothers arms looking at the ceiling.
I sigh.
"Not fair Mad Max I was going to say that. Hmm ok I'm gonna take a risk and say she's pregnant."
Max rolls herself ontop of me.
Her eyes are open wide.
"Fuck you that's totally gonna be it."
She says facepalming herself. I chuckle and give her a kiss.
"We will find out tonight till then want to mess up the bed?"
"How about the shower."
She whispers. All those years and still that voice turns me on in a matter of seconds.
"You know me too well."
We get out of bed and sprint towards the shower while taking our clothes of like they are on fire.
Ow yeah this is why I proposed to her.
That sudden switch from shy to sexual wow's me everytime.
She's full of surprises and that's why I want to spend the rest of my life with her.
I catch Max staring at me while I walk in the shower. I put on my signature evil grin.
"Stop staring and get in here!"
I pull her in by her arm and kiss her.
You can imagine what happend next.

Max's POV

It's 8:30 Pm. Chloe and I are getting dressed for our dinner with Kate and Mike.
Chloe barges into the room in her underwear and runs up to me.
"I can't find my nice pants you know the dinner pants."
Seriously I'm marrying a child.
"Have you checked your closet."
"You know you have been getting sassy lately."
I turn around and throw my arms around her neck. She puts her hands around my waist and we just gaze into eachothers eyes.
"I thaught you liked sassy?"
She leans in and kisses me.
"I really want to rip you out of that dress now."
"I know you do babe but we have ten minutes left so get dressed already."
"Ugh fiiiiine!"
She throws her arms in the air and I slap her butt when she turns around to search her pants.
"Seriously you are torturing me."
"I know and your fancy pants are in the top drawer of the dresser."
"Thanks mom."
"Piss off Chloe."
She chuckles and walks to the other side of the room.

We continue getting dressed and adventually head to the restaurant Kate suggested.
It's the restaurant where we went to celebrate Kate and Mike's anniversary.
They are insanly adorable but not the annoying kind of couple.
Mike and Chloe always make jokes and start awesome topics like
"Would you chop your girlfriends arm off for one million dollars."
It's good too see Chloe bonding with someone else.

We walk into the restaurant say our names and walk to the table that's assigned to us.
Kate and Mike are already there enjoying some drinks. Why is Kate drinking water she always drinks wine?
When kate sees us she jumps up and hugs me. Kate gives the best hugs besides Chloe ofcourse.
Mike slowly stands up aswell and gives Chloe a hug and fist bump their signature greeting.
"It's good to see you two Oh My God Max is that a fricking ring?"
I look at my hand and see the gold shinning.
We all sit down and I spill the news about the proposal.
"Wauw Chloe it sounds even better then when you proposed to me."
Kate says with a big smile sipping from her water giving Chloe a weird look.
What? I look at Chloe demanding an answer.
She rubs the back of her neck and starts her explanation.
"I didn't know how to ask so I practiced on Kate."
Now my eyes lead me to Kate.
"You knew the whole time."
Kate starts laughing.
"Yeah I did you should've seen her I've never seen her so shy and emotional."
"Shut it nun."
Chloe jokingly says and we all start laughing.
Chloe put so much effort in it. I didn't know it was possible to love her even more but now, jesus I would never want anyone else next to me.

We give the waiter our orders and continue a conversation while we wait.
"So Kate what's the big news we've been discussing it all day."
Kate blushes and puts her glass down.
"So me and Mike have been trying for a while and well... I'm pregnant."
She just drops it like that like it's not big deal. Holy shit Kate is pregnant.
Fuck I lost the bet.
Mike holds Kate's hand and smiles proudly.
My jaw drops. I'm so happy for her I know she really wanted children and well Mike would be a great father. The way he's looking at her now it's like a fairytale.
Chlow breaks the silence.
"Wauw Kate congratulations I... we are really happy for you."
Chloe her voice is soft and encouraging.
She grabs my hand under the table softly squeezing it as a sign I should say something.
"I have no words Kate. I'm so happy for you you are going to be a great mom."
I grab Kate's hand and look at her.
"I meam it you deserve this."
Kate her eyes start tearing up.
"Thank you guys so much."
"We are going to be the godparents right?"
Chloe says.
Mike chuckles and answers.
"Wouldn't want any other Punk looking after our baby."

The rest of the evening we enjoy our food and talk about the new adition to our little family.
I felt something strange when Kate was talking about all the baby stuff.
It felt like jealousy... no it can't be or maybe yes. I think I want kids too one day.
