Chloe's POV

I'm staring at the sunset.
It's the golden hour. God this brings back so many memories.
Four years ago I stood here and Max took the winning foto for the everyday heroes contest. That night we broke into the Blackwell pool and I asked her to be my girlfriend.
And here I stand once again this time with an even bigger question then "will you be my girlfriend."
Today I will ask the woman of my dreams to marry me.
I've been saving up for a ring and I finally found the courage to ask her now I just need to wait for the perfect moment.
It's a simple golden ring with her Intials and the date of the day we started dating engraved into it.
Kate helped me pick it. She was so excited when I told her.
I was scared she was going to run her mouth to Max but she didn't.
She helped me with the ring size and I practiced how to propose on her untill I had the perfect speech.
I made Kate cry and she was having a discusiom with Mike about how he's never romantic like that.
They are still together and to be honest they seem really happy as if they are married already.
Max creeps up on me and grabs my hand intertwining our fingers in the process.

This is it this is the moment.
This is perfect I need to do it now or else I might not get another chance.
I turn myself towards Max and grab her other hand nervously I take a deep breath and start my speech.
"It's been four years now. Four crazy years of adventures, ups and downs and allot of sex. Max I love you I really do and I wouldn't want anyone else beside me for the rest of my life."
Max looks at me her eyes are big and tearing up. She knows what I'm about to do.
I take a deep breath and continue.
"Max when I'm with you it's as if time doesn't exist. It's just you and me and everything around us it doesn't matter. We have been through hell. We have seen the world and now that we are settling down I want to ask you something."
I drop on my knee and grab the square box out of my pocket.
"Max Caulfield will you marry me?"
Max drops herself on her knees. I can see tears of joy in her eyes, she puts her hands on my jaw and kisses me.
When our lips part she smiles. She's laughing and crying at the same time when she answers,
"Yes, yes I will marry you."

It's finally happening!!

Sorry for the short first chapter but I already had to write the ending for Love Beyond Time and well I wanted to start this one of with Chloe's Pov on the engagement.

I'll see you very soon with new chapters where we are going to follow this happy couple in their marriage.
