Jane had being awake all night since she woke up with a gasps. The rest of the night she was just laying in her bed while looking up at the ceiling.

She first noticed that it was morning when she could hear the birds singing and the sun shining through the window and into the room.

She got up before she went to the bathroom and she put her hands on the sink before she looked herself in the mirror.

'I need you'

'I need you too'

' I love you, Jane'

'And I--I'm just not ready to say those words just yet'

'It's okay. I'll wait as long as it takes, Star'

'NOOO'

Jane snap back to reality and she blinked a few time with her eyes as she jumped back from the mirror "What the hell is wrong with me?" she asked as she ran her fingers through her hair.

She turned on the faucet before she wash her face.

She put both of her hands back on the sink before she put her left hand over her sparrow tattoo that was on her right shoulder.

She took a deep breath before she removed her left hand from her right shoulder and she put her right hand on her left shoulder where another tattoo was.

The tattoo was a butterfly that was coming out of its cocoon. Jane let out a sigh, not remembering how she got it and why, since she had it when she woke up from the coma.

But that guy name Five knew about it and maybe he can explain her about it.

"I have to find out more about all of those visions and dream. There must be a reason they are appearing so often" she said to herself before she took a deep breath "But I need a drink first and something to eat" she said before she walked out of the bathroom.

She put her black short and black boots that had a golden zipper on.

She put a dark blue shirt on and put her hair up in a ponytail before she grabbed her black leather jacket that was hanging by the door.

"Another day coming" she said before she walked out of the door.

But as she opened the door she heard another door opened and she looked to the right to see Luther walking out of the door causing her to quickly jump back into her room.

She peek out to see Luther walking the other way, he looked like he was going for a run.

When he was out of sight, Jane stepped out of her room before closing the door.

Light jazz music was playing when Jane walked down the stairs. She stopped when she saw, Diego and Klaus sitting over a table together.

She then spotted Five standing over by the barn. He was wearing some black jeans, a white T-shirt with dark blue checked on and a white shirt underneath, he had a light brown vest on and a fedora on his head. The fedora was checkered blue with a black band around it and a small feather on the left side.

"So, that's where they went. Well, whatever" she said before she without being noticed by the others walked over to get some food from the buffet.

"Hello" a voice said and Jane looked to the left to see a young boy, around 12 years old standing next to her "Hello" Jane said "I'm Stan" the boy said "And I don't care" Jane said "Well, hello I don't care" Stan said and Jane rolled her eyes before she put some food on her plate, grabbed two shot of glass and a bottle of whiskey.

Five had a weird feeling in body, the same feeling he got yesterday, a feeling like Jane was close but he thought that it was just because he miss her.

Jane sat down on a table and Chet put down a cup of coffee on her tabel "Here, black coffee, just like you like it" he said with a smile and she nodded a thank you before he walked back to the bar.

"Christ, what a dump" Stan said before he took his plate and walked over to sit down while Klaus and Diego was looking at him.

Klaus then looked at Diego "That little delinquent is your son?" he asked "Allegedly my son" Diego said and Klaus laughed "That's so funny!" he said.

Five looked at Stan as he walked over to the others, carrying his mimosa drink in one hand and his other hand tucked into the pocket of his jeans.

"Wait, who's...Who's the mother?" he asked Diego as he looked over at Stan.

"Lila" Diego answered "Excuse me?" Klaus asked as they both looked at him "Whoa, Lila's here?" Five asked "Was. She dropped him off in my lap last night then bolted" Diego said "I don't much care for that one" Klaus said "Don't" Diego said as he pointed his finger at Klaus.

"Technically, she's family" Five said "She was trying to murder us, like..." Klaus said and thought for a moment trying to wrap his head around the time travel "Yesterday" he said "Yeah, like I said 'family'" Five said before he put down his drink on the table.

"Well, Five's girlfriend is with the Sparrows and she tried to kill us too" Klaus said "That is not the same" Diego and Five said at the same time "Jane, don't remember us which is why she is with the Sparrows" Diego said "Yeah and as soon as I have help her regain her memories, we will be together again" Five said "And then it will be our turn to beat The Sparrows' asses" Diego said.

"Diego, is Lila coming back?" Five asked him before he turned around to grab a chair from another table.

"Well, she goddamn better be, because we got more important things to be dealing with right now!" Diego said out loud causing Stan to look at him "Calm down. Shh" Klaus said to Diego as Five sat down next to Klaus.

Then Vanya walked towards the table "Where's Luther?" she asked "Who cares? Probably out for...a run" Diego said as he paused for a second when he noticed her short hair.

"Mmm!" Klaus said as he swallowed his coffee "Love the haircut" he said as he waved his hand at her and she smiled.

"So, I, uh, talked to Marcus last night" she said "Wait, what? You talked with the enemy? By yourself?" Diego asked her "Somebody had to do something" Vanya said "Who elected you, Vanya?" Diego asked "It's, uh, Viktor" Vanya said "Who's Viktor?" Diego asked.

There was silence for a few seconds before she spoke up "I am" she said and they all looked at her understanding what she meant by that.

"It's who I've always been" Viktor said and no one said anything as they all looked at their sister who was now their brother.

Viktor looked at his three brothers hesitantly as they remained silent while they processed the information "Uh, is that an issue for anyone?" he asked and Klaus let out a chuckled.

"Nah, I'm good with it" Diego said "Yeah, me too. Cool" Klaus said as he put some nuts into his mouth before eating them.

Jane overheard it as she was standing over by the bar, filling up her mug with coffee.

She let out a smile, right there they sounded like a real family and even a better one than hers.

She let out a sigh before she walked back to her table.

"Truly happy for you, Viktor" Five said and Viktor looked at him before Five raised his brows "But last time I checked, you don't speak for this family" he said.

"Okay, we, it's fine, okay? Marcus totally gets it" Viktor said as he sat down between Diego and Five "He doesn't want a war any more than we do" Viktor said "What are you talking about? He tried to homicide us!" Diego said "So did Lila, and you had a kid with her" Klaus said "That's not the point" Diego said as he turned to Klaus.

"We made a deal. He's gonna give back Five's briefcase, then we're gonna get out of the timeline. I'm gonna meet him later today for the, uh, the handover. Marcus will even allow Jane to come with us. But only if she want to" Viktor said and Five let out a smile while Klaus clapped his hands in relief "Oh, thank God!" he said.

"That's a rookie move. Dude is playing you" Diego said "Oh, really?" Viktor asked as he was looking at Diego "Yeah, but maybe we can use this. And we turn it back on them, and then we wipe them the hell out" Diego said and Five glance at him with a killer look "Don't worry, not Jane, of course. You will help her remember, she will join us again and then we will wipe them all out" Diego said "Diego, stop, please. And you're not gonna, like, do anything today" Viktor said.

"Expect bond with your spawn" Klaus said and patted Diego on the shoulder "Alleged spawn" he corrected.

"I will get the briefcase and we'll be out of here" Viktor said before he looked at Five "And if you can't get Jane to remember, then we will all go back, save her and fix the timeline" he said.

"Hey, we're not going anywhere! This is a perfectly acceptable timeline" Five said "Yeah, why don't you tell that to Allison, who's upstairs grieving her daughter, who doesn't even exist here!" Viktor said to him.

"Not to mention, we've been replaced by a bunch of blobs and cubes and birds and shit!" Diego said.

"News flash, geniuses! It's not about us! Take a look around. If you hadn't noticed, there's no doomsday. There's no apocalypse. The sun is shining. Birds are doing whatever the hell birds do. That's all that matters. We're done messing with time" Five said before he grabbed his drink "And I'm officially retired. So if you guys excuse me. I'm gonna think of a way to made the woman I love and my partner in crime remember me" he said before he turned in his chair and Klaus sniffed at Five as he got up from the chair before walking to the buffet.

"Is he wearing aftershave?" Klaus asked the two "I'm concerned" he said.

Then the lights in hotel suddenly switched off all at once before it flickered back on a minute later.

Klaus walked over to Five that was standing by the buffet looking around as he think that it was weird about the lights.

"Hey. What do you say we get outta here, huh?" Klaus asked him and he looked at him "Take a little...road trip" Klaus said "What are you talking about?" Five asked "I'm talking about a sojourn to the countryside. You and me, the wind in our hair. Thelma and Louise, on the open road" Klaus said and Five let out a scoffed "You know they die in the end, right?" he asked.

"Holding hands, living our best life, my little cherub!" Klaus said before he leaned closer to Five as he crouched down to his height while Five scooped a spoon of fruit on his plate.

"Listen to me. I nearly died from Luther's sleep farts last night. We need to get out of here, get some fresh air!" Klaus said as Five walked around the buffet before he turned to Klaus.

"Okay, I'll bite. Why me, Klaus?" he asked "Because you said...you said you're retired, and that's what retired people do. And don't you deserve some fun? Maybe it can help you come up with a plan for you to make Jane remember" Klaus said.

But then Five spotted that in the thank in the middle of the buffet there was no lobsters, like there was just a minute ago.

"There's no lobsters" Five said "Excuse me?" Klaus asked "There were three lobsters in that tank a minute ago" Five said "Yeah, well, you know, maybe Chet blended 'em into a morning smoothie" Klaus said.

Five tried to hide his smile as he looked back at Klaus "You're an idiot, but I'm in" he said "Whoo" Klaus said.

"But I still don't understander why you want this and what we will be doing" Five said "Just something to clear your mind" Klaus said "Who says my mind isn't clear?" Five asked "You're calling out to Jane in your sleep, maybe" Klaus said "I am not calling out to Jane in my sleep" Five said as he was looking at him "I heard you last night. We share a bunk bed, bro" Klaus said and Five rolled his eyes "I know you miss her, Five. And I know that is hard for you that Jane don't remember you. But she is alive and isn't it better to have her alive and not remember you, than her being dead?" Klaus asked "I guess so. But I'm not going to give up. I'm going to find a way for her to remember me, no matter what" Five said "See, that's it" Klaus said.

Five's eyes then widened "It can't be" he whispered when he spotted Jane sitting over by an empty table, eating.

"I mean she might not remember you, but those feelings and love she have for you could still be there and if the love and connection you two have is strong, it might get her memories back" Klaus said but Five didn't really listen as he just stared at Jane.

"Are you even listening to me?" Klaus asked as he looked at Five, but he didn't answer "What are you staring at?" Klaus asked before he looked in that direction Five was looking at and he saw Five was staring at Jane.

"Jane, she's here" Five said "How in hell did we not noticed her?" Klaus asked "She is good at being invisible when she don't want to be noticed" Five said with a smile "That's perfect. Go talk to her" Klaus said "What?" Five asked as he looked at him "No! I can't" he said "Yes, you can. Maybe ask her if she want to go on this road trip. Maybe it can help her memories if she spend time with you" Klaus said "What if she try to kill me?" Five asked "She wouldn't kill you" Klaus said "The first two years of our partnership said otherwise, I still have the scar" Five said "Well, love can made you crazy and sometimes it's a weird thing" Klaus said before he push a little bit to him with his shoulder "Come on. Now you have the change to get her to remember and if that isn't working, then you can made her fall in love with you all over again" he said, he try to encourages Five to go over there.

Klaus had lost his love as well and unlike him, Five could get his own love back, why was he now acting like this?

"Come go talk to her, or else you might regret it" Klaus said.

"Alright" Five said before he put down his plate and he took a deep breath before he started walking over to Jane.

"Fei, please stop" Ben said to Fei as the two were walking down the stairs at the Academy "No. You had a chance to get rid of that pesky, annoying bitch we call a sister. But she's still breathing, why is that?" Fei asked and Ben rolled his eyes as he stopped "Fei, if you don't shut the hell up right now, I'll kill you" Ben said "You have a soft spot for her. Admit it. You always have. You also still have feelings for her" she said "Yes, Fei, I do. Jane is a member of this family and every since we broke up I have being nothing but an asshole to her, I was even an asshole when we were dating which is why she broke up with me. And I regret it. She don't deserve it" he said "What do you mean 'She don't deserve it' she is annoying" Fei said "Zip it, Fei" he snapped at her "Jane doesn't deserve the shit she is given. Say one more nasty things about her and I won't be so hesitate to kill you" he said before walking away.

"Jane" a voice said and Jane looked up to see Five standing in front of her table "Hey" she said before she looked back down on her plate "Can I sit?" he asked "I don't care" she said "So you wouldn't punch me if I sit down next to you?" he asked "Only if you give me a reason to" she said with a smile which cause Five to smile before he sat down next to her.

"So, what are you doing here?" he asked "I needed an escape from my siblings" she answered "Yeah, I can relate to that" he said "You want one" she asked as she gave him a shot glass with whiskey and he gave her a look "What?" she asked "It's just that Jane I know wouldn't touch alcohol" he said "Do you want one or not?" she asked "Sure" he said before he grab the shot and they both drank the shot.

"Can I ask you why you thought The Sparrow Academy was your home?" she asked "That's kind of a long story" he said "I've got time" she said "In another life, The Sparrow Academy was The Umbrella Academy" he said "Another life, that included Ben and me?" she asked "No and yes. Ben was part of The Umbrella Academy but then he died" he said.

"What about me?" she asked "You were not part of it, but you were my partner in crime" he said "I need a drink before I hear this story" she said "Oh, you definitely do" he said before they both took a shot.

"So, now, why don't you explain some of it to me?" she asked "Are you sure you wanna hear it. It's a bit of a messed up story" he said "Yeah, I'm sure" she said and he began telling her some of it, only his childhood.

Our differences they do a lot to teach us how to use the tools and gifts

Then Klaus walked over to them "So, Jane" he said and she looked at him "Don't hit me" he said in defend "Don't worry, not gonna hit you, unless you give me a reason to" she said "So, Five and I are gonna on a road trip" Klaus said "And I were thinking if you wanna come?" Five asked "Well, some fresh air wouldn't hurt, beside I really need to get out of here" she said "Great, then let's go" Klaus said.

"Let me go! Get your hands off me!" Stan shouted as Chet as he was holding a grab on him "I saw what you did!" Chet said to him.

"Hey, what the hell are you doing?" Diego asked as he ran up to them and Chet let go of Stan "Your son stuffed three mini muffins down his pants" Chet said to Diego.

"And this is a buffet! I can take whatever the hell I want!" Stan said "I got him" Diego said before he grabbed Stan's shoulder "Come on" he said "Wait, take it easy" Stan said "Time for some ground rules" Diego said "How about no physical assault. That's a--" Stan said but cut go off when Diego sat him down by the stairs that lead to the elevator "Shut up and listen" Diego said before he sat down next to him.

"My father was a Hall of Fame asshole" Diego said as Stan began eating the muffin. "And when I was a little pissant like you, I made a promise to myself that I would never act like him to any kid of...mine" Diego said "Yeah, stop. I'm gonna cry" Stan said sarcastic.

"But I'm a busy man, with a lot on my shoulders, okay? So I'm gonna let you slow me down either, all right?" Diego said "Yeah, you look really busy right now" Stan said sarcastic and Diego hit the muffin out of his hand before he looked at him "You can stay until your mom gets back, all right? But no more doing dumb shit, or else you and I are gonna have a serious problem" Diego said and Stan looked down "Look at me" Diego said and Stan looked at him "Me entiendes" Diego said in Spanish.

But then Diego noticed that Stan's right ear started leaking "Dude, your ear's leaking" Diego said "Oh, I...Yeah, I forgot to pack my ear medicine" Stan said "Oh sh--Ear medicine, huh?" Diego said "If I don't drain it, uh, pus leaks out and it smells like cat puke" Stan said "Come on" Diego said before the two got up and walked towards the front door of the hotel.

"Whoa, whoa! Where do you think you're going?" Viktor asked as he walked up to them "Kid thing. I'll be right back" Diego said "No. I need you to stay put and not do anything stupid until I get the briefcase" Viktor said "Yeah, and you're not the boss of him, okay" Stan said causing Diego to give him a small slap on the back of his head.

Diego then grabbed Stan's shoulder before the two walked towards the door.

"Come on, we'll get a few road sodas for the journey" Klaus said when both Jane and Five was done eating "Sometimes, you gotta clear the head out" Klaus said as him, Jane and Five got ready.

"Guys, wait. Where are you going?" Viktor called out to them but stop when he saw Jane "Jane?" he asked "Don't worry. I'm not here to cause a fight or anything, I'm just going on a road trip with those two" Jane said as she pointed her thumb on Five and Klaus "But I'm meeting Marcus for a hand out. What if your team think we kidnapped you" Viktor said "They are not gonna think that" Jane said.

"Get the rats out of the maze, you know?" Klaus said to Five "Come on" Five said and Jane started taking some steps backward after Five and Klaus "Tell Marcus that I will be back before dinner" Jane said to Viktor before she turned around "And if you hurt my brother. I will kill you!" she said out loud before she walked after Five and Klaus while Viktor let out a sigh.

After Five had circled the different places he wanted to see along the road trip, him, Jane and Klaus got into one of the hotel's cars before Klaus drove down the road.

"Are you sure that The Sparrow isn't going to be mad?" Klaus asked "Maybe Ben will be. But I'm not owned by anyone, I go where I want to go and do what I want to be doing and if anyone tell me otherwise and try to stop me, well then good luck to them" Jane said and Five let out a small smile.

Even so Jane have lost her memories about her earlier life and even so she don't remember Five or their time together, and she have being living another life, she still had the same personality and that mean that there is still hope for him to help her regain her memories.

If there was one thing Five was sure about and that was that he was not going to give up on Jane or them. He was going to made her remember, no matter what. Maybe this trip will help him get some along time with her so he can talk to her.
