On the 12th hour of the first day of October 1989, 16 women around the world gave birth. This was unusual only on the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began.

Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopt as many of the children as possible. He got seven of them and called them The Sparrow Academy and he turned them into being crime-fighters.

The Sparrow Academy was one of the finest crime fighting forces in the city. What made them such a good team was their communication skills and working together, no one could defeat them and they became famous.

Number One/Marcus Hargreeves/The leader:

Marcus' powers are Superhuman strength.

Marcus is a charming, chiseled, colossus. Honest, virtuous, and demanding, Marcus keeps the family together. Graceful but lethal, calculated but compassionate, he is smart and he is strong. Marcus is disciplined, rational and in control. He oozes confidence and leadership without ever having to raise his voice.

Marcus is the leader of the Sparrows who keeps the family in cheek.

Number Two/ Ben Hargreeves/The Schemer:

Ben has the ability to summon Eldritch Tentacles from a portal in his abdomen. The tentacles are extremely strong, meaning he's able to grab, stab, squeeze, and destroy his enemies.

Ben is a Machiavellian tactician, wrapped up in a pretty boy body with a rumbling inner-squid. Vicious, pragmatic, and hyper-vigilant. Ben is determined to gain his status as the leader at all cost.

Ben always wanted to be included and a lot, he always wanted a fight, contrary to Marcus who always wanted to talk things out first.

He try to show people that he can be a leader too. He actually got the chance of being a leader but under his order something went wrong and Ben became number two and Marcus became number one and took the role as the leader of the sparrow.

Ben always try to act like a leader by trying to control people and he is jealous of Marcus because he is the leader of the family.

Ben and Jane used to be very close when they were young and they started dating at 22 but after two years, Jane broke up with Ben and after that he started acting more of an asshole to her and everyone else.

Now Ben and Jane aren't that close anymore, they don't speak nicely to each other and they fight often, and sometimes they can't be in a room together without Ben acting like an asshole causing them to get into a fight.

Even so Ben is still in love with Jane, she only see him as a friend and a brother now.

Number Three/Fei Hargreeves/The Sharp Eyed:

Fei sees the world in a special way.

Her ability are that she can summon crows out of her back and is able to control them, since she is blind, the crows act as her eyes and ears, and she sees everything they do, no matter where they are, that mean that she can use her crows to spy on people as well as use them to attack other.

Fei doesn't ask for help, but can be tough when she need to.

She comes across as a misanthrope who rather be alone than spend even a second with you. But truth be told, Fei wishes she had a friend. Most of the time, Fei is the smartest person in the room who is willing to negotiate but can hold a grudge.

But if you cross her, there's no looking back because Fei wouldn't stop until the job is done.

Fei is not very close with Jane and is envious of her, since Jane is so smart and good at everything.

Number Four/Alphonso Hargreeves/The Jokester:

His ability is that he is kind of a human voodoo doll. Whenever he is injured, he's able to inflict that very same injury to his opponent which mean he can reflects any damage you do to him onto the person who just inflicted it

His rubber-like ability allows him to deflect attacks back onto his opponents.

Years of crime fighting has left his face and body with countless visual reminders of his battles. To compensate, Alphonso is armed with a caustic and biting sense of humor. The only thing he likes better than verbally battering anyone foolish enough to get in his face, is good pizza and six-pack of beer.

Alphonso is a calm chill guy that is always making jokes.

Number Five/Sloane Hargreeves/The Gravity Defyer:

Sloane's ability is that she can control gravity, meaning that she's able to levitate and fly, and allow others to do so. She can moved things with her mind as well as turn off the gravity for someone.

She can also move objects and people with her gravity manipulation.

Sloane is a romantic and a dreamer who feels a higher cosmic calling leaving her eager to see the world and experience a life beyond her upbringing. But obligations to her family keep Sloane tethered to the Academy, as does her fear of crossing family line. But Sloane has plans...and one day she might just be brave enough to act on them.

Sloane is a sweet person, who sometimes is trying to act scary and tough but is not.

She collects postcards from places she wants to go.

She is very close with Jane and they are always there for each other and they even tells each other secrets that no ones other than the two know.

Jane knows about Sloane's dream about traveling the world and supports her in it.

Sloane is also there for Jane, she always cover for her when Jane sneak outside at night. When they were younger, the two would always talk all night.

Number Six/Jayme Hargreeves/The Pessimist:

Jayme has the ability to shoot hallucinogenic spit from her throat, that causes her victims to have vivid hallucinations or daydreams, that often involve their deepest desires.

Jayme is a loner with a fear-inducing snarl you'd wise to avoid at all costs. She doesn't say much because she doesn't have to. Catch a glimpse of it, and you'll run across the street to avoid what follows. Smart and sharp as a knife, she spent most of her time hanging with Alphonso, her only friend.

Jayme and Jane use to be close when they were young but it was like it drift away. Jayme stopped hanging out with Jane cause she found out that she had a crush on her.

Jayme's crush on Jane started when they were 17 at new-year-evening when the two were drunk and decide to kiss at midnight.

They two talked about it a few days later, and Jane said that it was just a drunk new-year kiss and nothing else.

Jayme have accepted that Jane didn't feel the same way and have decided to let it go. Now she sees her only as a sister.

Number Seven/ Christopher/Chris/ The Chatterbox:

He has the ability to induce paralysis, fear, existential dread, and freezing temperatures in any environment

Chris is a telekinetic cube of unknown origin. He can turn the room freezing cold and include paralyzing fear without so much as a warning. He acts as the Sparrow's consulted oracle who hands out incredible advice and serves as the family mediator. Trustworthy, loyal, and is treated by the Sparrows like any other sibling, Christopher is a force to be reckoned with.

The Sparrows are the only one that can understand Chris.

Number Zero: Jane Hargreeves/The living weapon:

Jane is the most powerful of the Sparrows and a better and more skilled fighter than them. Jane's main power is the ability to move things and people with her mind.

The more she use her powers, the weaker she gets and if she is weak, tired or hurt, her powers are weak.

If she used too much of her powers or use them for too long, it can damaged her body, especially her brain and her nose will starts bleeding and if she don't stop, blood will run out of her ears.

Jane's powers are so powerful that she can kill 12 people at the same time with just a move with her finger.

Because of how dangerous her powers is, she don't like using them.

Because Reginald wanted Jane to be more powerful, he experimented on her, giving her other powers.

So, she now have the abilities to teleport as far as she can see or if she have being there before. She is able to see other people's superpowers by just looking at them and she can even copy their powers and used them herself. She is so strong that she can copy more than one power at the same time and once she copy another person's power, she can use them whenever she like.

She don't used her abilities much as she rather handle things without.

Jane is called Zero when she and the others are on a mission and she is only called Jane when they are at the Academy.

Jane is a badass sarcastic woman and an amazing fighter. She is very smart and can speak, read, write and understand almost all the languages in the world.

She is an amazing athlete, has amazing reflex and highly skilled in incorporating gymnastics into her fighting style. She is very flexible and she think outside the box.

She can be very stubborn and she hate when people is telling her what to do.

Jane say what is on her mind and she always stand for what is right. She can be calm but once she have lose her temper, you will lose your life. You don't want to make her angry.

Even so Jane is a skilled fighter, she like don't use all her skills in a fight, only if she really need to.

Jane is always ready to fight to the death to protect the people she care about.

'Cause of something that happen a long time ago, Jane have amnesia and don't remember anything about her life before the Sparrows.

Once Reginald saw how skilled Jane was, he wanted her to be the leader of the sparrows, but Jane refuse and after Ben failed to be the leader, Marcus got the role.

Jane is very close with Sloane and Marcus and she sees them as her closest and real siblings. She is of course close with her other sisters Fei and Jayme and her brothers Ben, Chris and Alphonso, but not so much.

Jane and Ben use to be very close already when Jane joined the family. They started getting closer at 20 and they actually started dating 22, but after two years Jane broke up with Ben and he have being more of an asshole to her and everyone else.

Now Jane and Ben aren't' that close anymore, they don't speak nicely to each other and they fight often, and sometimes they can't be in a room together without Ben acting like an asshole causing them to get into a fight.

Jane and Sloane are still very close and they are always there for each other and they even tells each other secrets that no one other than the two know.

Sloane is even there for Jane when she tells her about her weird dreams and visions she keeps having about a guy with short black brown hair and green eyes.

Sloane and Marcus have being the only ones in the family that don't call Jane's dreams for crazy or weird and actually support her and listen to her when she talks about them.

In 1963, Reginald Hargreeves found Jane who was from the future and she was one of the kids that was born on the 1. October 1989.

After finding her injured and very close to die, he decided to take her to his Academy and she was in a coma for 40 years.

While she was in a coma, Reginald adopted seven kids all born on the same day, 12Th hour of the first day of October 1989.

He trained those kids into saving the world, called them The Sparrow Academy.

In 2003 when the kids were 14, Jane woke up. Without remember anything about her earlier life, other than her name, Jane stayed at The Academy, believing that she belongs there.

She grew up with the other kids in the academy and was called number Zero and she grow up with the kids and together with them they became famous crime-fighting superheroes name The Sparrow Academy.

But two years ago, in 2017, the Sparrows was on a mission and Jane was out for an accident, which brought her very close to death.

To save her life Reginald have to do some experiments on Jane that made her end up in her 14-year-old body.

The night before April 2, 2019.

Jane was sitting in the living room by the bar counter, holding a glass with alcohol.

"Why aren't you asleep?" a voice asked and Marcus walked over to the counter before he sat down beside her "I can't sleep" Jane said "You okay?" he asked "I could be better" she said "What's wrong?" he asked "I just haven't slept since the accident and since Reginald experiments on me which cause me to end up in my younger body" she said "Well, dad did it to save you" he said "I know" she said "And is not permanent, I mean you are growing, you are 16 now. Soon you will be back to your real age and dad told you that your consciousness have stopped ageing until your body have reach the same age and then it will continue as normal" he said, in a voice like he was trying to give her hope.

"Its not the reason that I can't sleep" she said "Then what is it?" he asked "Remember when I told you about those weird visions and dreams I sometimes have?" she asked and he nodded "They appear more often now and they have now changed" she said "How have they changed?" he asked and she took a deep breath before taking a sip of her glass.

"Have you ever being in love?" she asked "Thousand of times" he answered "That's not what I'm talking about" she said and he looked at her "I'm talking about unconditional, spectacular, consciousness, altering, true, epic love" she said before looking at him "Do you know what that looks like?" she asked "I didn't know love look like anything" he said "I have seen it" she said "And what did you see?" he asked "You wouldn't understand" she said "Try me" he said and she smiled.

"Alright, two years ago, when I was in that accident. I saw nothing but darkness, couldn't feel anything other than peace. It's over, everything started to go dark. I'm slipping into the abyss and then I see...him" she said "'Him'?" he asked.

"A guy, short dark brown black hair, warm green eyes. Later looks like a little school boy. Rapturous handsome. And I know him. We're together, it's like we've always been and always will be" she said with a smile "This..." she said before closing her eyes, trying to feel the feelings "Feelings this love" she said and opened her eyes.

"And just when I'm about to be engulfed by it" she said before she snapped her fingers "I open my eyes and I'm back at the Academy. But I saw it, just for a moment, I saw what it looks like" she said "Well, that's just poetry, sis" he said and she took a deep breath.

"And now this guy, every time I close my eyes, he appear in my dreams" she said before she looked down at her fingers "He appear in my dreams every single time. He calls out to me and his hand reach out to me. I reach out to him but every time our hands are about to touch, I always wake up and no matter how many times I try to go back to sleep, I'm back at the start" she said before letting out a sigh.

"Maybe this guy you are talking about is someone from you earlier life, the life you had before dad found you" Marcus said but she shook her head "I don't think so, otherwise he would have found me by now" she said "Well, don't worry, maybe it will come back to you" he said before patting her on the shoulder and the two looked at each other with a smile.

"Just because things don't always turn out as you hoped for, doesn't mean you always have to expect the worst"
