After I had stopped crying the Doctor had the brilliant idea of visiting Kaden in the prisons. I agreed but was unsure about it. On the way there we could hear him groaning and hitting the wall of the cell. Even when we entered he carried on. "Kaden." The Doctor said. Kaden stopped and turned to face us. He looked as if he wanted to strangle me again. "Hello, I'm-"

"The Doctor. I know." Kaden interrupted. He stepped closer to the door and looked the Doctor dead in the eyes. "Kaden, what has that man been telling you?"

"He's told me that you've been trying to kidnap us for 20 years. He said that our parents were horrible people and he came to save us from them and people trying to kill us. You."
"Kaden, you've got it wrong. We're you-" The Doctor looked at me and I shook my head. "We're the ones that tried to save you and Xaviar was the guy that took you from your parents."

"That's what your friend said. She told me that exact same thing and that I've been brainwashed. I don't believe either of you now leave me alone." We did as he said and walked back to the main part of the Torchwood Hub.

Gale was waiting outside the TARDIS for us looking quite shocked. "Are you alright?" I asked. He nodded. "We had a peek in your box. Pretty impressive." He answered smiling.
"It's the TARDIS, that's Time And Relative Dimension In Space. It can travel in time and space." The Doctor said leaning against the box. "Ash told me about you and I'm pretty confused. She's being paranoid right?" I shook my head and a tear formed in my eye. I didn't feel ready for this. "And everything that Xaviar's told us is false." This time I nodded. "Wow, this is a lot to take in." Gale finished his sentence with a chuckle. "It's weird. You two don't look as old as you should be."
"Thanks." I said with a laugh. "You see, for us it's been nearly a year since you were born but for you it's been twenty years."

"This isn't the first time it's happened for me. My friends... Amy and Rory had a baby. This baby was taken away and it turned out to be a grown woman called River Song who we'd known for a while."

"This isn't an everyday thing is it?" I shook my head with another laugh.

We spoke for a while but then stood in silence for a while. "So, what do you guys do in the box?" Gale asked. "Just travel. It's pretty cool." I answered. "I'm guessing Xaviar hasn't told you that we're not humans either."
"He's mentioned it but it's never been explained properly to us."
"Story for another time I guess." 

I saw Ash walking towards us and tensed up. She looked sad but happy at the same time. "I'm sorry for that." She said.

"It's fine. It's a lot to take in."

"How's Kaden?"

"Evil as ever I guess." Ash looked to the ground and I looked at the Doctor. He knew what I was thinking. "Hey, I don't suppose you want to come travelling with us? I know it's a bit weird with us and all but we could work it out?" Ash and Gale looked at each other like me and the Doctor had done and smiled. "I guess it could be fun." Ash said smiling. "What do we do with Kaden?" She looked worried for him and felt bad for leaving him. "I don't think it's safe for him to come with us." The Doctor admitted. "I'll talk to Jack and try to get him to look after Kaden. Maybe talk to him and calm him down." Ash still looked guilty but nodded and walked into the box with Gale.

I looked up at the Doctor and hugged him. "And you said that we'd lost them." He said. I smiled and let him go to talk to the team while I went into the TARDIS. The Doctor walked in and danced around the console as if nothing had happened. "Right kids. This is the fun part." I said as the TARDIS shook and dematerialised. The smiles and laughs from Gale and Ash filled me with joy. This was a whole new adventure for us. Two kids out of three travelling with us as a family.
