Y'all don't understand how long this has been in my drafts.

This was the very first idea in my story ideas book, which I posted a million years ago, and now here we are, at the end of 2019 (or the beginning of 2020, depending on when I've published this), and it's finally seeing the light of day.

So, a few things.

This was originally going to be a CM Punk/AJ Lee book, but I recently thought about how much better it would be if I made the pairing Darby Allin and Priscilla Kelly (I would die for Darby Allin tbh). So it is a little different than I intended, but I still think y'all will like it.

The plan was always for this to be a one-shot (or possibly a two-parter, but it was never meant to be very long). And that is why this is only a one-shot. I'm sure I could turn it into a full-on book, but I think I'll like it more if I keep it like this.

When I started writing this, I had two cops, and I gave one of them the last name Jackson. I couldn't figure out the name for the second one. As I wrote, though, I realized that was the Young Bucks' last name. I didn't plan on the cops being wrestlers, but here we are.

This part is kinda important, just for the sake of this story: I have no idea how banks actually work. In this story, there's a vault full of cash, and that's where they keep all the money. Is that normal for banks? I have no clue, but let's just pretend it is lol

To end this author's note: just a warning that this will get a little dark. I don't think anything requires a trigger warning, but I feel like my stories are usually kinda happy and upbeat, so just a head's up that this isn't gonna be that way.
