Chapter 14

Lizzie's POV

I was smirking. Maddie stared at me, like I was even madder than I already am. I could see the fear in her eyes.
"Uh... Lizzie..." she stuttered nervously.
"What?" I growled. I gasped. Suddenly she was on my nerves.
"Y-Your eye-eyes. The-They're P-P-Purple." She stuttered. I looked in the mirror. As indeed, her words were truth. Maddie screeched as the Evil Queen appeared behind us both. I felt the urge to smirk, but resisted it.
"Oh, poor Lizzie Hearts. Or should I say, Elizabeth?" She hissed, whispering into my ear. I growled softly.
"No use resisting....." she whispered.
Maddie had tried to run out and the Evil Queen knocked her out.
"What the hell?" I screamed at her finally speaking up.
"She was getting in our way." The Evil Queen told me, fluttering her eye lashes. I felt a blush spread across my face, despite the disapproved look on my face.
"I knew it! I knew you were a lesbian!" She screamed, sounding filled with joy.
"I'm bisexual........" I mumbled under my breath.
"No wonder that Courtly Jester girl tried to take your destiny… you don't deserve it... lesbian queens are wrong." She hissed in my face. I was steaming.
"Oh, little Lizzie Hearts angry? Poor girl, want your mommy?"
I nodded slowly. She pushed her face into mine, our faces only inches apart. She cackled in my face with a smirk.
"Hell, no. Not unless you join our group. Join us, robbing the rich and giving to us all over the fairytale land! You can beat Headmaster Grimm in his game!" She exclaimed, as if she had been reading my mind. I  had been angry lately because Headmaster Grimm decided to remove Wonderland Grove to make an 'Apple White Shrine'. It was crazy, but he said the school was too poor to fund it, but the school never funded Wonderland Grove. I thought. Was this the right choice..? I asked myself.
"No!" I replied.
"What did you say?" She growled.
"I said no! I refuse to get myself involved in your crazy schemes." I replied.
"Fine then. Expect never to see your mother again."
Those were the last words she spoke to me before disappearing. I broke down into tears, not sure of what to do and whether it was a test, game, or reality. I was lost and I needed my mother back before I lost her forever.
