Chapter 7
(this chapter pretty much ignores like 90% of Johnny and Gavin's interactions in my previous story because I am big dumb)
Gavin sighed as he pulled up to the apartment building, parking in an open spot. He hadn't felt so nervous in his life. ... well, that was a lie. He hadn't felt this nervous in years. Gavin hadn't spent time with Johnny in quite a while, and now he was being forced to by the little killer who was currently holding his hand. He allowed Jimmy to lead him to the front door.
"Ring the bell!" the man-child squeaked. The Brit did as he was told. They heard noises from behind the door, and after a moment, it opened. It was Johnny.
"Good afternoon. Come in."
They entered, following his brother upstairs and into the apartment. Gavin cringed when Jimmy let out a high pitched screech, running over to where Ghost was sitting on the couch. He heard the small man wheeze when Jimmy roughly hugged him.
"Jeez, it's good to see you too!" Ghost chuckled. Gavin couldn't help but smile, even if it was just a little bit. Jimmy looked so happy. He was practically glowing. Gavin kind of wished that his brother was that glad to see him. He would never admit that, of course.
"... would you like some tea, Gavin?" Johnny asked, snapping him from his thoughts.
"S-Sure."
Gavin followed his twin into the kitchen, sitting in one of the small wooden chairs. He shuffled his feet awkwardly, staying quiet until Johnny sat across from him. Gavin was afraid to look up from the table, but he did.
"So... it's been a while, hasn't in? Since we've sat down like this?" Johnny muttered. Gavin nodded.
"A few years, I think."
"Yeah. I-... I'm glad that you agreed to bring Jimmy over today. It's nice to see Sir so happy."
Gavin looked. The two were sitting on the couch, having what seemed like a deep conversation. They were both smiling. He blushed a bit. Jimmy's real smile was actually pretty cute. Johnny seemed to notice the look on his face and chuckled. Gavin rolled his eyes.
"What's so amusing, huh?" he hissed.
"Nothing. Nothing at all."
The two sat for a while, quietly drinking their tea when Jimmy suddenly ran in. He had a wild look in his eyes. Ghost soon joined them, although he was a lot more chill than his twin.
"What's happening?" Gavin questioned.
"Well I was gonna teach him how to play cards, but he said he really wants you guys to play with us."
He looked over at Johnny, who still looked confused. Even still, he had a small smile on his face. Gavin jumped at bit when the killer grabbed his arm, tugging.
"Come onnnn! Let's go!"
"And what if I don't want to go, hmm?"
"Then... then I'll beat you up again!"
Gavin actually felt slightly threatened. That was because he knew that Jimmy wasn't bluffing. He could really kick his ass if he felt like it.
"Fine. Let's go." he sighed. Jimmy smiled, practically dragging him to the living room and onto the floor. Soon everyone was sitting in a circle, and Ghost was shuffling the cards. Gavin tried to ignore the fact that he was being stared at by literally three different people. He felt out of place, and was used to being by himself.
"So, what do you guys wanna play? I was thinking maybe some blackjack to start." Ghost suggested, looking up at them.
"Oh! I love black licorice!" Jimmy purred.
"Alright, Jimbo."
Ghost pet the killers hair, and he squeaked. Gavin felt like his head was going to explode. That was, until he felt a hand on his own head. He looked over, his eyes huge. His green eyes met Johnny's blue ones. After a moment of silence, much to his own surprise, Gavin began to laugh.
"Man, what the hell are you doing?"
"I don't know. I guess I just felt like it." his twin chuckled, pulling away. That's when he noticed that Jimmy was staring at them, a smirk on his face.
"Don't look at me like that, freak."
"I'm not a freak!" the killer hissed.
"Oh yeah? Tell me, do you have any other friends?"
"Yeah I do!"
"Who?" Gavin questioned.
"Welllll I'm friends with Jeff, a-and Sally! I really want to visit her again..."
Gavin eyes narrowed. From what he had heard about Sally, he knew that she was a weird kid. Weird in a bad way.
"You're friends with that?"
Jimmy frowned.
"I'm friends with you?"
The Johnny's both began to laugh uncontrollably, and Gavin's face turned red. He stood, shaking his head.
"I'm taking a break. I'll be back in a few." he sighed. He walked downstairs, eventually making it to his car. He leaned against it, enjoying the way the sun felt on his face. Gavin was about to light his cigarette when he felt something slam into his chest. It was Jimmy.
"What are you doing?" Gavin asked.
"... I feel bad."
"Why?"
"Because I embarrassed you!" Jimmy squeaked. Gavin rolled his eyes, finally hugging the smaller man back. He ran his hand through his soft brown hair, jumping when the man nipped at him, his teeth nearly connecting with his hand. Jimmy giggled, looking up at him with sparkly eyes.
"What was that for?"
Jimmy just smiled.
"No reason. Now come on! Lets go back in!"
