Amongst the grey canvas of the night, the snow that fell fresh in the morning was now dull and lacked its white sheen. The young woman inserted the key into a vibrant colored vehicle, one that she has only driven a couple of times since she just got back.

After the engine roared and fixing her mirror's she was ready to drive off. The android detective managed to catch up with her and as she fixed her rearview mirror his image was reflected onto the surface. She did not want to look and fixed the mirror to her preference and pressed on the gas as Connor walked forward.

"Erika!" Connor called out, but it was too late she had already driven off to an unknown location. The android detective went off to find a source of transportation to follow.

Erika needed time away--time alone to think things through--to grasp an understanding at her own pace. So the young woman drove and drove until she reached an area she thought best fit to review these thoughts in peace.

The vehicle pulled up onto a gravel covered ground and was put into park. Its occupant stepped out and grabbed a blanket to use as seating and placed it on top of a fallen tree and sat down. Erika took in the moment and stared at the frozen water along the banks of the river. It was a place she would come with her deceased father and sometimes Hank would accompany her with Cole.

"You were really my family..." she spoke to herself then sighed "I'm sorry Cole, I could have done something more...maybe something to help you be here..."

After a moment of silence, a rustle in the trees caught her attention and she moved into a fighting stance. She felt a pain in her chest and something new and unexpected happened. Her chest began to glow, her heart was the source of the light as with each beat of the mechanical organ made the light brighter. A chuckle echoed through the trees as Erika collapsed to the ground.

In a defenseless state, Erika's thoughts raced to the false accusation of the treatment actually helping her overcome Conan's control over her. Her eyes shifted from each tree to each shadow as she suspected the very man to be in the area.

"Conan!" the young woman cried out as a way to confirm the man's presence. Moments passed and she called out again and again. She was about to let the sudden fear pass, but then out of the trees, Conan emerged. He looked different, his body looked rundown and his exposed chest gave off a similar glow to hers. The madman removed his hood to reveal prominent blue veins on his face that gave off a luminescent glow. One of his eyes bore a similar tinge as it rendered him a more machine than human.

"Conan?" Erika questioned the man as he neared, she did not want to be captured once again and be forced under his control. She wanted to move, but with the touch of a device in his hand, she became paralyzed. He neared her and glared at her with lust and want.

"My, my, Evergreen...happy to see me?" the man proceeded to sit on the log and pushed the young woman on the chest to make her lie down on her back. All Erika could do was watch the man violate her in the darkness and the only witness was the moon and emptiness in the air. She yelled as it was the only thing she could do, but Conan silenced her with his lips. Erika bit his tongue and he retracted his lips from hers and gave her a deathly stare.

"You bitch! You really think you can do this!?" Conan was furious at the sudden fighting nature of the young woman. Erika had never showed this kind of retaliation towards the man and he--enjoyed it.

Erika was about to speak but Conan muffled her words with his hand. He proceeded to squeeze her jaw and she winced in pain. After the maniac gained some pleasure in seeing the young woman in pain he released her jaw then grabbed her by the neck. The man lifted her up and glared at her with fury and anger.

"You are alone and no one will come for you" the man smirked menacingly.

"You Are MINE!"
