First Encounter
One early morning in Techno Reef, Prince Trollex's alarm clock beeped twice as he slammed it off before it could wake someone near his room up. Trollex meant to wake up early because... he has plans. He didn't like his father's plan for him in the future, and he can't make him stay underwater forever. The prince wanted to know everything about the land up on the surface of the ocean. Gadgets and collections weren't enough for him, despite that he loved them all. He wanted to experience what it was like out of the water. Prince Trollex wanted to experience the sun, the sky, the air, everything... for just a minute or so.
With nothing to bring except for the map of Troll Kingdom, Trollex decided to leave the castle through his bedroom window.
"Prince Trollex, where are you going?"
The prince was startled when he heard a voice behind him. He turned to see the Techno Beat Drop Button sitting on his clam bed.
"Hey Beat," Trollex swam back to his best friend, "I can't stay here for a bit. Dad was so strict and controlling, and I can't live like this. I was too curious about the land, and I..." he sighed, "I want to see what's up there."
"But, what if your parents are looking for you?" Beat asked.
"If they do... then let them find me. I just want to check what it was like on land. I won't be long," Trollex said as he swam back through his window, "I'll see you later, buddy. And if they ask, stall as long as you can, but if you can't... then, tell them where I am."
Beat nodded silently, and Trollex continued to swim quietly from his castle. When he was a little further out of Techno Reef, Trollex looked back, and stared at the kingdom, promising in his head that he wouldn't be long to check the surface as he continued to swim.

In Harmonious Land, Aggie woke up on her bed, and she didn't remember what happened yesterday, until she let her memories refresh. She now remembered. She was grounded by her own parents for going deep into the ocean without their permission. Though she didn't need their permission to go too deep because she knew they would say no.
Aggie groaned frustratingly. Now that her siblings knew where she kept her sea collections, she has no secrets to hide from them anymore. She hoped she wouldn't tell her parents about her secret room collection. Aggie didn't care that she was grounded. It's like "grounded" is the word that never existed. She still wanted to get out of the castle, just to be free from rules. The castle was like a dungeon to her. She looked at the window, and saw the beach. The beach was so beautiful in the morning, and she loved to go out in the morning, but the problem was... she's grounded.
If only there was a way out. Aggie looked at the clock, and noticed it was 6:10am. It's too early for everyone to wake up this morning. She was sure no one would notice. Aggie took out a long notice book and a pencil case of colored pencils from her drawer, and went out of her bedroom, and closed the door quietly. She ran across every hallway and every floor quietly, until she reached the main doors of the castle.
When Aggie came out, she noticed the Magic Classical and Magic Rock Troll guards were sleeping during their shift. She closed the door quietly, and tiptoed forward to avoid waking them up.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back to Trollex, while he was swimming, he took out a Troll Kingdom Map to check which land is nearer to his kingdom. He then noticed harmonious Land was next to the sea, along with Symphonyville and Volcano Rock City, but Harmonious Land was nearer to his direction, so he had to head on that kingdom.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back to Aggie, she sat on the dock, just besides the beach where her family started to go fishing. She held her notebook on her lap, and opened it. She used her color pencils to draw and color. Today, she's drawing the horizon of the ocean. It was so beautiful. The sky was so blue, even the water, and seagulls flew in the sky.
Behind a big rock, Trollex emerged from the surface of the water for the first time in his life. The sky was so blue, the morning sun was so bright, the clouds were so white and fluffy, and there were birds flying and squawking in the sky. He even touched a land rock for the first time where he was hiding behind. It was amazing. Then, he saw the shore. The sand was so light and white, and there are starfishes and seashells lying there too. Trollex thought seashells are allowed underwater, but he was proven wrong.
When Trollex was about to swim somewhere to find more, he then noticed a Troll on the dock. He quickly went back behind the rock to hide, and took a small peak. He saw a gray Troll sitting on the dock, writing or drawing something on her notebook. Trollex never saw a gray Troll before. This one might be gray, but, in Trollex's eyes, she looked so beautiful, especially when she smiled while looking at the horizon before looking back on her notebook to draw again. Trollex smiled as he never saw such beautiful Land Troll before.
Just then, he noticed more Trolls coming and approaching the beautiful gray Troll. He couldn't hear what
"Well, well, well, look who it is!"
Aggie heard that familiar male voice as she frowned and turned around.
7 familiar Magic Musical Trolls approached her. One was a Magic Swing Troll name Noah, his Magic Rock Troll cousin, Scarlet, and her friends, Zyrus (Magic Techno), Nadine (Magic Pop), Ethel (Magic Funk), Opal (Magic Classical), and Dusty (Magic Country)
"Look, Trolls, our very own princess!" Scarlet snorted as her friends laughed in response.
"A very weird one," Noah added.
Trollex couldn't hear what the Trolls on the dock were saying since he was very far away.
"Leave me alone, Scarlet, Noah, I'm not in a mood being your bullying dummy," Aggie looked away from them, continuing her drawing.
"Oh, we weren't here to make fun of you, your highness, we just wanted to tell you that it's your time to choose your music," Zyrus pointed.
"Yeah, you already have all the time to choose your music: 18 years to be exact," Opal added.
Aggie groaned while closing her notebook, "Look, I still need more time to decide, okay? I don't know which music is the best for me!"
"Oh, faw Trolls' sake! you're nahwt just 18, Aggie, you're the princess! the royal magik musical Trolls should choose theuurr musik earliuurr than y'all's age! ayn' until now, you're still gray. It's like you're nahwt ayy princess at all!" Dusty shouted.
"Who gave you the rights for me to say I can choose my music?" The Magic Musical Princess snapped.
"It's the rule of every Magic Musical Troll, even you!" Scarlet elucidated, "Look, if you can't decide, then we'll make you decide!"
When Scarlet snapped her fingers, this meant she ordered Dusty and Nadine to grab Aggie by the arms. The princess tried to struggle free from their grasp.
Then, Noah picked up the notebook that Aggie dropped, and saw her unfinished drawing of the ocean, "Ugh! You spent your time drawing rather than doing what was important to you?"
"No! That's my masterpiece!" Aggie cried, hoping the bullies won't destroy her work.
But Scarlet snatched it from her cousin, and threw the notebook onto the sand, "Oh, forget that! You have to think about yourself first, Princess!"
"If you don't decide now, then no one would think of you as a princess or our future queen anymore. You'll be different!" Noah clutched on Aggie's dress, "You'll be nothing!" He then pushed Aggie from close to him.
But Aggie then lost her balance at the edge of the dock, and fell into the water. Trollex gasped when he witnessed the whole thing
"Oops!" Noah exclaimed.
Scarlet gasped as her cousin pushed the princess, "Why did you push her?!"
"I didn't push her that hard!"
"Quick, let's get out of here before anyone sees us!"
The 7 Trolls knew they were going to get in so much trouble when anyone found about this as they fearfully ran away.
In shock, and without thinking, Trollex dove back into the water to find the drowning princess. Ahead, he saw her trying to swim back on the surface while holding her breath, but she was still falling downward. Trollex swam towards her, scooped her into his arms, and pulled her upwards back on the surface. Trollex dragged Aggie with him, and laid her out on the shoreline
"Are you alright?" He asked.
Aggie coughed out water before slowly opening her eyes, "Huh, what?"
"Don't worry, you're safe!" Trollex cooed as he let Aggie have her space so she can breathe.
Aggie then snapped while glancing around, "Where... where are they?"
"Those bullies? They're gone. I saw they pushed you, and you almost drowned, but I'm here now," the prince explained.
"Thank you... thank you so much!" The princess hugged him with gratitude, much to the prince's surprise, but he hugged her back, "I thought I died!"
"It's okay, it's okay, you would be dead if I didn't come, but glad I did."
"Thank you, er... what's your name?"
"Trollex," Trollex held out his hand to her.
Aggie accepted it, and shook hands with him, "Agatha, but... call me Aggie."
"Prince Trollex!"
Just then, a familiar voice that Trollex recognized was heard as the two turned their eyes to the water where the King and Queen of the Techno Trolls, along with Prince Synth, Laguna, and Beat came out of the water.
"What are you doing?!" King Ocean asked.
"Dad! Mom!" Trollex exclaimed, thinking about something how to explain everything
"'Prince'?!" Aggie repeated, feeling surprised that the Techno Troll who saved her was a prince.
"Princess Aggie?!"
Then, another familiar voice that Aggie recognized was heard as the two looked behind them on land where the King and Queen of the Magic Musical Trolls, along with Noel and Agnes jumped over the slope, and ran towards Aggie.
"Are you alright?!" King Galileo asked worryingly.
"'Princess'?" Trollex was surprised that the Troll he saved was a princess. He didn't know that in the beginning since he couldn't hear what the bullies called her earlier.
"What is going on here?!" King Ocean demanded an answer as he and his family swam towards Trollex.
"Dad, I can explain," the prince replied before staring at Beat, who was guilty that he couldn't cover for his best friend that long, but Trollex couldn't blame him, "I just went here, and..."
"What are you doing here on the surface?" Queen Seastar asked in concern.
Queen Bernadette then cupped Aggie's face, scanning for any wounds or bruises, "Aggie, are you okay? Are you hurt?"
"No, mom, I'm fine," Aggie yanked her face from her mother's hands
"Look, I was looking around, and I saw Trolls pushed her down, and she almost drowned, and I don't have a choice but to save her," Trollex explained.
"It's true, he saved my life," Aggie added while looking at her parents.
Leaders in both tribes stared at each other in shock that Prince Trollex saved Princess Aggie from drowning. It was a brave thing the prince would do for a princess.
King Ocean looked down at his son. He wanted to be disappointed in him for sneaking away like that, but saving the princess of the Magic Musical Troll was the right thing to do rather than not minding others' business.
King Galileo was very happy nothing happened to his youngest daughter, and he smiled at Trollex thankfully, "Well, I'm very happy that nothing happened between you two."
"Yes, and I'm proud you saved the princess' life," King Ocean nodded in agreement as he told Galileo, "I apologize for what happened to your daughter."
Galileo nodded at Ocean, "It's okay, and I thank you that your son came. If he doesn't, our daughter won't be here anymore."
"Well..., I think we should all go back to our homes," Seastar said.
"Agreed, so no one gets hurt again," Bernadette nodded.
The royal parents of two tribes then took their respective children, and turned to other direction,
"Bye," Trollex mouthed to Aggie as his parents dragged him away back into the ocean.
"Bye," Aggie whispered sadly in return.

When the royals returned to Techno Reef, The King and Queen sat on their thrones with Trollex in front of them with his hands behind him.
"Son, I want to say that I'm disappointed that you went to the surface without telling me," Ocean admitted.
"I'm sorry, dad," Trollex honestly shook his head down.
"But... because of your kind and heroic act for saving the Harmonious Land's princess' life, I'm very proud," the king added.
Trollex was surprised as he raised his head, "Really?"
"Son, nothing's more important than saving a fellow Troll's life," Seastar smiled warmly.
"Thank you, Mom," the prince nodded his head.
"I'm going to let you slide with this one, Trollex. Just don't go back to the surface without permission, okay?" The king clarified.
"Yes, Dad," Trollex said.
"Good. Now, back to your fitting. We need to get you prepared for your wedding in few months."
The guards and Laguna guided Trollex out of the throne room with the prince frowned that he was still in the trap of forcefully marrying his childhood best friend that he has no romantic feelings for.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In Magic Castle, with the King and Queen on their thrones, Aggie stood with her arms behind her back. But before they can discuss, a Magic Funk guard came in to report.
"We finally found the Troll you told us, Princess Aggie. We'll tell their parents so this won't happen again," he said as the royals nodded before the guard could leave.
When they were now alone, Aggie turned to her parents if they would declare another punishment for her for sneaking out of the castle during her grounding days.
"Oh, sweetheart, we were so worried!" Bernadette cried.
"I'm sorry, Mom, Dad. I didn't swim this time. I was at the docks, just drawing the ocean," Aggie explained.
"Well, that's the safe place to go near the beach, but you have to be guarded, and you were still grounded," Galileo reminded.
"I just need some privacy, Dad. I can't be guarded all the time. Besides, Prince Trollex saved my life," the princess recalled.
"Yes, but what happens if he's not there?" The Magic Musical king was so worried for his youngest daughter, and sighed stressfully and calmingly, "I'm glad the Prince of Techno Reef saw you and saved you. We'll show great gratitude to the Techno royals tomorrow again for saving your life."
"So, can I still go to the beach?" Aggie beamed.
Galileo rolled his eyes, knowing that his daughter has lots of hopes, "You're still grounded for 4 days, young lady. I don't want you out of the castle until your grounding days are over. Now, back to your room."
Aggie hung her head down before walking of the throne room
When Aggie left and the doors closed, Bernadette then looked to her older children.
"We told you to watch over your sister!" She yelled at them
"How would we know she went out early?!" Agnes exclaimed.
"And she was slippery!" Noel stated.
"If you didn't keep a close eye on her, your sister would be dead!" The Queen raised her voice, scaring her own children, but she calmed herself down, not wanting to hurt her older children. Even Galileo didn't want that. Bernadette then told them, "But we're glad that Prince Trollex saved her. But please, try to keep an eye on her."
"Yes mom," Noel nodded at their mother.
"Okay, mom." Agnes answered in agreement.

Yes! This is the chapter where Prince Trollex and Princess Aggie meet for the first time.
In this AU, Scarlet, Zyrus, Nadine, Ethel, Opal, and Noah appeared as well. Similar to their canon counterparts in TrollsTopia, they were bullies of Aggie, but here, Scarlet and Noah are related, cousins to be exact, and they were just bullies, not Aggie's exes.
I hope you like this new chapter very much! Please review!!!
