Freezing {Jack Frost x Reader}

Request from Alena19995 :) "Jack Frost, Jim Hawkins, or Peter Pan please!!"

Simply put, you were freezing. It was snowing out, which was a rare occurrence where you lived, so you had jumped at the opportunity to go let your inner child run free in the soft white flakes. But now, you kind of regretted it.

Since you weren't used to snow, even your seemingly endless amount of layers didn't stop your teeth from chattering and your body from shaking.

"You know, you should really go inside before you freeze to death," a boy's voice said from behind you. You spun around to find...no one. You got scared because you didn't have any siblings, your parents were inside, and none of your neighbors or neighborhood friends had that voice.

"Who...who said that?" you asked as you looked for the source of the voice.

"Me, silly! Behind you," the voice said again. You spun around quickly to see a boy who looked oddly familiar. He had gorgeous blue eyes, the color of freshly made ice, and hair the color of freshly fallen snow. He gave you a kind smirk as he leaned in and looked at you.

"Hi, (Y/N). It's good to see you again." the boy said and you took a closer look at him. You gasped when you recognized him.

"Jack...Jack Frost?" you asked and reached out and poked his cheek, feeling the cold rush up your finger. So he was real.

"You remember me? You can still see me?" Jack asked in astonishment. You nodded excitedly and smiled widely.

"I thought I'd never see you again! I've missed you! It's been too long since we've had a snow day here!" you said as you jumped towards him, wrapping your arms around him. He chuckled and hugged you back.

"Sorry, (Y/N), I've been busy. There's a lot of places that need snow, you know." Jack said with a smile. You smiled back and playfully rolled your eyes at him.

"Yes, I know, Mr. Guardian." you said and Jack stuck his tongue out at you playfully.

"Well, now that I'm here, how about we have a little fun?" Jack said and you laughed and nodded.

~Time Skip~

You and Jack had played in the snow for hours. You had a snowball fight (making sure anyone who didn't believe in Jack didn't see you throwing snowballs at nothing, since that would look weird), made snow angels, and built snowmen (Jack cheated and used his powers to make a perfect one). Now you and Jack were sitting and catching flakes on your tongue, courtesy of Jack.

"This has been so much fun, Jack. I missed this." you said and Jack looked over at you.

"I'm so glad you never stopped believing in me. Once you started growing up, I wasn't sure if I should've visit anymore. I wasn't sure if you still believed, but I always suspected you did." Jack said.

"And I always will. Promise." you said, holding your pinky out. Jack smiled and linked his pinky with yours. Then he did something unexpected: he leaned in and gently bit your nose. You gasped.

"Did Jack Frost just nip at my nose?" you asked and dramatically put a hand on your chest. Jack smiled widely.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." he said, feigning innocence. You smirked at him and grabbed some snow behind his back. Then you brought it up and smushed it on Jack's head. He gasped and looked at you, smirking. You both stood up and commenced another snowball fight, laughing hysterically.

It was worth freezing for, and really, you didn't even feel the cold anymore.
