A/N ok, so I kinda realize that this one-shot might be kinda similar to one done by @RioftheSouthernIsles in her Tuffnut x Reader one-shot book, and I feel so terrible for sort of plagiarizing. So I let her know, and she was fine with it as long as I give her credit for her idea.

So, all ideas that came from Ri belong to her, all parts that I added or changed belong to me :)

"Hey babe, what do you think of my face paint?" your boyfriend Tuffnut asked you when you were in the arena helping Ruffnut suit up Barf and Belch for today's dragon race. You had your back turned to him, and when you turned around, you yelled in fright. Your boyfriend had yellow and black paint all over his face, and it was sort of scary looking. But it fit him perfectly.

"It's, uh...something. Kinda scary, though." you told him with a laugh.

"Good! That's what I was going for!" Tuffnut says. Ruffnut, who had simple teal and yellow lines on her face, looked over at her brother and shook her head.

"Idiot, don't you think that's a little too much?" she asked and Tuffnut glared at her.

"No! (Y/N) likes it! Tell her, (Y/N)!" Tuffnut and Ruffnut both looked at you, who had a suprised look on your face.

"Woah, when did I become a part of this argument?" you said.

"But, I think it looks good Tuffnut. And Ruffnut, let your brother be as weird as he wants." you add. Tuffnut put his hands on his hips proudly.

"Yeah!...Hey!" he said and you laughed. Hiccup announced that it was time for the race, and Tuffnut came over to try and give you a kiss, since you were only watching the race.

"Ew, Tuff, not now! You have paint all over your face!" you said and giggled when Tuffnut pouted.

"Aw, come on, (Y/N)!" he begged. Ruffnut gagged in the background.

"After you win and wipe all that paint off." you said, blowing him a kiss as you went to your seat outside the arena.

~At the dragon race~

Astrid was, of course, in the lead, even though Hiccup was participating today. You could see the twins getting more and more ticked off with every sheep Astrid dunked into her basket. The twins could win, you knew it, if only they would stop arguing and work together. You decided to help them out. You stood up and yelled to your boyfriend.

"Babe! Work with your sister! C'mon, you guys got this!" you yelled and Tuffnut looked at you and nodded, then turned to his sister and starting talking to her. The twins started to actually cooperate and in the end, ended up winning, like you knew they could.

You ran up to Tuffnut after the race and gave him a bear hug.

"Tuff! You guys did it! I knew you could!" you said and pulled a cloth out of your pocket, rubbing the paint off your boyfriend's face. Then you gave him the victory kiss you promised. Ruffnut gagged again behind you, and you turned to her, laughing.

"As gross as you two are, I'm happy you're together. Otherwise we wouldn't have won today!" she cheered.

"Yeah, maybe you guys should listen to (Y/N) more often for race advice. You need it." Astrid joked, and you laughed at the twins' identical glares, then jumped on Tuffnut's back as you walked out of the arena, surrounded by all your friends.
