Prithvi & Gayatri  Malhotra

They are the parents of Devika & Yash. Prithvi & Gayatri had an arranged marriage and have now been married 56 years. They love all the kids & grandkids equally. Prithvi is a trained classical singer and was Vikram's guru many years ago. Now he trains Nandini & Manik. Gayatri is a housewife.

Devika Nanda 

Devika is the elder child of Prithvi & Gayatri. She runs many NGOs for women & children. Devika is a widow, who's husband passed away many years ago from ill health. She lives with her parents & brothers & loves all the kids equally. Mother of one son, Akshay.

Akshay Nanda (32 yrs)

Akshay is the only child of Devika and eldest grandson of Prithvi & Gayatri. He was only 4 years old when his Dad passed away but he loves & repects his Mama like a Dad. Akshay is close to his brothers & treats Nandini like a sister. He respects RV as an older brother and is also a good friend but he doesnt know his past. Akshay is MD at Malhotra Industries. He married Purvi, who was a family friend, 7 years ago & has a son & daughter, Laksh & Meera.

Dr. Purvi Nanda (32 yrs)

Purvi is the wife of Akshay and a doctor. She specializes in children. Purvi is the eldest bahu of the family but has known them since she was a baby as their families are good friends. She is good friends with Ishani from school time and treats RV as a brother. Mom of Laksh & Meera.

Laksh Nanda (6 yrs)

Laksh is the son of Akshay & Purvi. He is the best friend of Rohan. He loves to play pranks & annoy his sister, Meera. 

Meera Nanda (5 yrs)

Meera is the daughter of Akshay & Purvi. She loves to hang out with her brother & Rohan....most because she has a huge crush on Rohan.

Yash Malhotra

Yash is the son of Prithvi & Gayatri, younger brother of Devika. Yash was childhood friends with Vikram who grew up in the house across from his and they were like brothers. While Yash was never interested in music like his Dad...Vikram loved music & learned from Prithvi. Later, Malhotra family had to lmove and he slowly lost contact over the years. Yash married Anjali through an arranged marriage and has two sons, Prem & Manik. He met RV & Nandini many years ago when Nandini was just 3 years old and has always treated them as his own kids.

Anjali Malhotra

Anjali is the wife of Yash & Mom of Prem & Manik. She had an arranged marriage with her husband years ago but loves her family more than anything. Anjali never met Vikram before but has heard about him. She has a strong bond with Nandini who always saw a maternal figure in her. Anjali tends to take Manik's side over the other kids as she feels her husband is too strict with him....but when its between Manik & Nandini, she will always take Nandini's side.

Prem Malhotra (29 yrs)

Prem is the elder son of Yash & Anjali....but the middle grandson. He works in Malhotra Industries along with his elder brother. Prem like his Dad also had an arranged marriage, 3 years ago with Mansi. He loves his family alot and treats Nandini like a younger sister.

Mansi Malhotra (27 yrs)

Mansi is the wife of Prem & second bahu of Malhotra family. She is a housewife like her mother in law. Mansi had an arranged marriage with Prem...and didnt even know him until they got married. She loves the family alot.

Manik Malhotra (22 yrs)

Manik is the youngest son of Yash & Anjali & also the youngest grandson. He is a college student & best friend of Nandini. Manik is a casanova and always has a different girlfriend but has never had a serious relationship and has always been clear about his no commitment, no love rule. He loves his family more than anything but has problems with his Dad who wants him to join business while he loves music & singing.
