Jaeseong pulled the black hat over his eyes more. "This isn't to going to work," he said but it fell on deaf ears. The four boys shivered as another gust of wind blew past them. All of them were wrapped up in thick coats to block the last cold front off the season. Spring felt far away but the tiny green buds that battled against the cold told a different story. The air tasted of spring and held promises of warmer weather, but for now the howling of the wind echoed the end of winter.

Luckily Jaeseong had managed to find some suitable clothing in Kihyun's closet (his clothing was much too feminine for Jaeseong's liking). Then he'd been bustled out of the apartment and into the cold. Sully had let him borrow a hat that pretty much engulfed his head. He didn't protest as much to that as he did the black face mask with kitten whiskers on it. Jaeseong had refused to wear it but it was the only one they had left and so Jaeseong didn't have much of a choice. Even with a huge hat and face mask, it didn't guarantee that he wouldn't be recognized. Jaeseong had no idea how they expected him to work at a tiny cafe in downtown Seoul when his face was displayed in every store and on huge billboards across the city. Someone was bound to recognize him and when they did, all hell would break loose. There'd be reporters and journalists flocking to get an interview with him and it'd be horrible. Jaeseong always hated paparazzi. They always created rumors and blowing things up. They just made the world so much harder for him. This dumb plan was not going to work but they were obviously too stupid to see that.

No one had answered Jaeseong's earlier quip so he simply sulked as they walked. Not a single person spared them so much as a glance. Jaeseong felt really out of place. The coat he was drowning in made him even more unrecognizable but he was still surprised no one noticed him. The street was lined with shops and restaurants. People bustled along it like tiny ants.

The four walked in comfortable silence which Jaeseong found a little strange. The normally talkative duo were silent and Jaeseong wondered if there was something wrong with them. Not that he didn't mind the silence because he definitely did but it was still a bit unnerving. Then again they were probably quiet because Kihyun had wrapped his arms around Sully and Taeil's so that he was bundled warmly in between them. Jaeseong couldn't really see their faces because of their coats but he had a feeling they both had very satisfied smiles on their faces. Jaeseong rolled his eyes and sped up a little so he didn't have to awkwardly fourth wheel.

The walk didn't take them as long as Jaeseong expected. They soon stopped in front of a small shop with the wooden words "Cat's Corner Cafe" written above it. Jaeseong scowled. He had known the cafe was going to be small but this was pretty much a hole in the wall. Not to mention there was a Starbuck directly across from it. 'Why would anyone come here when there is high quality across the street.' Jaeseong thought bitterly. He almost turned and walked across the street because he hadn't had Starbucks in days and was really craving some; but Kihyun quickly dragged him into the tiny cafe.

The inside was just as small as the outside. There were only about 6 double-seated tables dotted around the room. A glass case with different treats in it, stood near the far left corner. Different machines that looked to be 5 centuries too old stood behind it. The front windows were small but big enough where the people could see out onto the street and light could pool in onto the wooden floor. The signs above the cashier depicted the menu. Tiny drawings of cats were littered around the boards and some of the 'o's were replaced by paw prints and the 'i's had kitten noses with whiskers in place of the dot. Jaeseong was just glad the whole place wasn't painted some god awful pastel pink or bright turquoise.

There was no one in the cafe so it was no surprise when a short old man quickly bustled over to them. "Boys!! How are you??" he said. His voice kind of sounded like an dying frog and he walked like a hobbling turtle. Jaeseong scowled under the face mask.

"Byungho!!" Kihyun said. He ran to the older man and tackled him in a hug. Byungho chuckled and patted Kihyun lightly on the back.

"I haven't seen you boys in a while," he croaked. A wide toothless smile was plastered against his face and Jaeseong just looked away. "And who's this??"

"This is―"

"Clark." Everyone turned to look at Sully quizzically. The tattooed boy's face remained a blank canvas of emotions. "He's from America so he can't speak Korean very well. He's looking for a job and we were wondering if you could help him out." Jaeseong raise a brow under his bangs at how smoothly Sully lied. Kihyun and Taeil looked very surprised as well. Byungho looked Jaeseong up and down carefully. Jaeseong stood up a bit straighter under Byungho's watchful look.

"Well, I do need another hand behind the counter since you boys keep wearing my other out.... Do you know how to make coffee?" Byungho spoke slowly when he asked the question and Jaeseong kind of felt like punching Sully in the face. Jaeseong unconsciously nodded his head and only realized his mistaken too late when Byungho began to bustle him towards the ancient coffee machines.

"Excellent you can start now!!" Jaeseong's eyes widened in alarm. Now, if there was one thing that Jaeseong was most proudest of, it was his ability to be good at pretty much anything he did; however, never in his life had Jaeseong been forced to make his own coffee so in the face of a hundred year old man and a group of people who would no doubt make laugh at him, Jaeseong tried.

And he failed. After 30 minutes of tirelessly trying to make a simple cup of coffee, Jaeseong was covered head to toe in spilled coffee and milk and other ingredients that he was sure were ruining Kihyun's clothes. Taeil was howling with laughter and rolling around on the floor. Sully looked mildly impressed that Jaeseong could fuck up that bad. Kihyun just looked sympathetically at Jaeseong and tried to help him clean up the mess. Jaeseong furiously wiped down the counter, hiding his face in embarrassment. He'd snapped at everyone multiple times and at this point Jaeseong was tempted to simply walk out. He hated being laughed at. It gave him a horrible feeling in his stomach that felt like a stone. He's spent enough time this week being laughed at anyways.

Byungho patted the masked boy on the shoulder. "Don't worry we all have some trouble the first time. You'll get it soon." Jaeseong took a deep breath and tried to calm himself before Byungho began to show him how to actually make coffee.

"So, why Clark?" Kihyun asked. He leaned against Sully's side and gingerly sipped his tea. Taeil watched the two carefully over his own cup. Sully's head was turned towards the window but he was watching Kihyun out of the corner of his eye. One of his tattoo covered hands fiddled with the gold chain that hung around his neck.

Sully shrugged. "It means secret in English so I thought it was appropriate." Kihyun hummed thoughtfully and nuzzled a bit closer to Sully.

"Fairy I'm cold."

Kihyun perked up immediately as Taeil held his arms out. Sully grunted in dismay as Kihyun sprang from his side and onto Taeil's lap. Kihyun wrapped his arms around Taeil's neck "Is this better?" he asked.

Taeil grinned wide. "Much better." He wrapped his arms around Kihyun's waist and snuggled him closer. Kihyun giggled and buried his face in the crook of Taeil's neck. Kihyun could never turn down a cuddle, especially from Taeil who was always asking him for hugs and skinship. "You know what we should do?" Taeil asked. His lips brushed the shell of Kihyun's ear and Sully could feel his blood boiling. Sully's fingers were tightly clenched around his cup and tiny cracks were beginning to appear in the already worn surface.

"What?" Kihyun asked back. His voice was slightly muffled by the skin of Taeil's neck.

"We should go into the corner...." Taeil smirked at Sully.

Sully stood to punch Taeil in the face but the other finished his sentence. "....because it's 90 degrees." Kihyun threw his head back in laughter at Taeil's stupid pun. Taeil and Sully glared daggers at each other behind Kihyunn's back. The tattooed boy slowly sat down, not breaking eye contact with Taeil. Taeil tightened his hold on Kihyun before turning his gaze from Sully.

The air simmered with tension as Taeil and Kihyun threw themselves into conversation.
