By the time, I gained my senses and returned to the hall, they were already gone. I felt tired. I looked at my parents. They looked very happy.

"I hope this one gets fixed. They are the perfect family and our Siri will be very happy with them." I heard my dad whispering to my mom.

I felt sad. {Sorry! I spoilt it.} I went to bed early that day.

Next day, I woke to a scream. It was my mom. I rushed down in a hurry to see what had happened. My mom was on the floor beside the sofa, in the hall and my dad had his arms around her. Their eyes were filled with tears.

I rushed towards them, shouting "What happened?"

"They agreed!" Both said in unison. There was a tremor in their voice.

It took me few seconds to understand the condition properly. Then I sighed in relief.

"You people scared me to hell. Why did you have to react like that?"

"Our dear daughter is going to get married! We will obviously feel excited." My mom said with full glow in face.

"Are you happy with it?" My father asked with concern. I nodded. "Anything is fine if you people are happy with it." They smiled and I went back to my room.

I still don't understand how it worked out. I was sure, that he would reject me; after the way I behaved. I didn't know how to react. This was a total shock to me.

I only knew one thing. My life is no more in my hands.

I was even more shocked when I got a call from an unknown number.
