"Siri!"

"Mom 5 mins."

"It is your marriage today."

My eyes shot open. "What? When? With whom? Where am I?"

My mom started laughing. I glared at her. "Why are you laughing?"

"I am imagining Hari's face; poor guy, will have to bear your stupidity."

{H.A.R.I.... oh ... I am getting married am I? So, it is real!} I pinched myself. My mom laughed again. "Don't scare him like this from tomorrow."

I glared at her again. She is SOOOOOO HAPPY. {Of course! She is getting rid of a devil like me. She is enjoying tomorrow's FREEDOM ... right from today!}

The moment I realised that; a lightning struck me. (Okay! Not literally ... but I was kind of attacked by some extra-terrestrial force ... or whatever!) Time slowed down for me. But why was is it only for me? Or, have I been transformed into a tortoise? I looked at myself. {Thank god! I am still a human.} But what happened to everyone else? Why is everyone doing things in a FAST-FORWARD MODE? I sat  alone, staring and blinking; to get dragged around; here and there. {Have I become an immobile doll?} My brain took ages to process information. {OMG! I need to consult a doctor! No, may be a scientist. (Come on! I need to know, why time is playing tricks with me! Don't roll your eyes.)}

But for now, maybe I need to consult Hari. (They are calling me to the mantap.)
