A strong wind dashes from upstairs travelling throughout the stairs. It stops at the last step with a male palm getting placed on the wooden coloured railing of the stairs. On the person's wrist, an age-old scar is peeking from behind the dark moss coloured sleeve.

"Rein! Rey! Why didn't you stop her?" A male voice shouts with excitement as his eyeballs change from reddish black to pitch black.

"Raj! How many times have I told you not to use your power without any reason?" Serein shouts from the dining table where she is sitting with Reyna.

Wearing a mischievous smirk, Raj arrives behind Serein and Reyna within a blink of an eye.

"Because it's only three of us here. And I'm also getting late, so bye!" Raj again uses his power but before he can cross the main door, Reyna appears in front and blocks him.

"Don't be so carefree with your powers. If anyone sees, it can be..."

"Yea, yeah... okay. Now can I go please?" Before Reyna replies anything, Raj goes away from there.

"This boy... we protected him way too much. When will he realize the power he really holds?" Serein walks towards Reyna while speaking.

"Soon." Reyna answers, staring at the open door as the last tint of red of her eyes changes into black.

"Good morning dear students. As you all know today is the official last day for students of Standard Twelve, the school authority has hosted a farewell party which will start after break." A wave of excitement rushes throughout the Assembly as soon as the principal of Mount School stops for a pause.

Amid the chaos, the principal continues which makes students go quiet soon. "But students of Standard Eleven are only invited along with Twelve. Other classes will be held as usual. Thank You. You may disperse now."

As the assembly gets empty little by little, Raj tiptoes and stands at the end of one of the dispersing queues.

"Ouch. Ouch." Raj screams as a masculine hand pulls one of his ears.

"Uncle... it hurts." With an innocent smile on his face, Raj stands in front of a tall, middle-aged man who is glaring at him with his light brown eyes.

"How many times have I told you not to call me Uncle at school? And why are you late again?" The man pulls Raj aside letting other students leave.

Rubbing the nape of his neck with a guilty smile, Raj replies, "I fell asleep."

The man sighs. "How can someone sleep so much being a vam..."

"Uncle!" Raj stops the man from completing his word and looks around.

"You don't seem to be this careful when you jump around and call me sir!" The man shouts with a suppressed tone.

"Yes sir."

"Sir!" A female student runs towards them while huffing.

"Excuse me Sir. Woh Pari... Pari has fainted."

"Where is she now?" The man asks while walking.

"Infirmary. The doctor is checking her."

"No." The man mumbles and looks behind screaming Raj's name. But he can't be seen anywhere.

"This boy!" Sighing, he looks in front, "let's go."

"Damn! Her pulse rate is dropping. Hospital! Right now!" A female doctor rushes towards her desk and picks up the receiver of the blue landline. But before she can dial, someone snatches the receiver out of her hand.

"Raj! What kind of behaviour is this? Pari's pulse rate is dropping fast. She needs to go to the hospital." The doctor takes back the receiver and starts dialling a number.

Raj runs towards Pari and checks her pulse. "Shit! I need to stop her from calling anyone else." Raj mumbles.

"No ma'am. She is fine." Raj shouts which makes the doctor look at him.

Within a blink, the black colour of Raj's eyes turn red as he looks at the doctor with an intense stare.

"Pari is absolutely fine Ma'am." Raj moves towards the doctor keeping the eye contact intact.

"She was tired due to lack of sleep. She felt good after taking rest. But she went back to her home today." Saying that, Raj blinks his eyes and the doctor collapses. Before she hits the ground, Raj holds her and makes her sit on a chair with her head rested on her desk.

Something catches his attention as he perks his ears. He hears a few footsteps coming closer. Taking unconscious Pari in his arms, he runs towards the open window.

" Sorry. I have to do this. Just don't wake up right now, please." Raj says while giving a soft peck on Pari's forehead.

Giving a look behind, Raj jumps from the 6th floor while some people enter into the infirmary. Like a stormy wind, Raj starts going downwards without noticing that Pari's closed eyelids are struggling to get opened.

"Ra... Raj!" A shocked Pari mutters looking into Raj's red eyes who is still in the air carrying a pale Pari.
