♡ ⋅ Rules & Forms. Introduction to Yama Noriko
✱ RULES ╱ GUIDLINESS.
I. ACTIVITY: Please be active in this book! You don't have to write comments, because I'm aware that sometimes you can't write a comment because you don't want to or just don't have time. However, I would hope for stars in return! If I notice that you are not active, then your character who made it to the cast list will be removed from it (in a fairly appropriate way, of course. this character will not suddenly disappear)
II. BEHAVIOUR: Please be nice to each other!
III. FACE CLAIM: Keep the face claim of the characters over 18 years of age. I would also like face claim to fit into the overall concept of the story. A face claim can be of idols, models or actors who you think fit and are not against using their image in such a way. I would also like race bending not to appear. The password is your favorite dessert.
IV. NEATNESS: I would like the forms to be written in a fairly neat way, so that I would have no problem reading it. Ideally, the form should be returned in Google docs, but other forms are also accepted.
V. CREATIVITY/IDEAS: I would like the characters to be quite creative and descriptive. And with this, apply fiction wants the characters to be quite goofy and unpredictable in their own way. I'll put character ideas at the end of the chapter if you don't have a certain idea. HOWEVER, any character will be welcomed!
VI. CHARACTERS: You can write as many forms as you want, if you want to have a better chance of getting your character into apply fiction. I plan to cast 6-7 people, but don't worry. Characters who don't get in will appear in the story as side characters.
VII. FORMS: I would love for you to hand in your forms as soon as possible. I am aware that school, work or other responsibilities are above apply fiction. However, I would like to be at least informed when I could expect the form. The due date is until 14th February.

Her radiant smile, as inviting and irresistible as a perfectly crafted cheesecake, has the power to lift even the heaviest of hearts and spark joy in those around her, regardless of their circumstances. Noriko exudes a gentle warmth and unshakable kindness, always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her generosity and purity of spirit make her seem almost otherworldly, though her guileless nature sometimes leaves her vulnerable to the machinations of less well-meaning individuals.
Yet, Noriko is far from the flawless angel she might first appear to be. Beneath her serene exterior lies a tempest of emotions, brewing like a storm that defies containment when her mood sours. Her heart, though generous, often leads her to set unrealistic expectations ⏤ of herself, of others, and of the world around her. With her head perpetually in the clouds, she sometimes struggles to navigate the chasm between her idealistic dreams and reality. This dissonance can spark emotional turbulence that she wrestles to control, no matter how composed she might seem on the surface.
Despite her imperfections, Noriko remains steadfast in her efforts to be a beacon of positivity for those who share her struggles. She empathizes deeply, offering solace and strength to others without ever seeking to exploit their vulnerabilities ⏤ at least, never intentionally. Her flaws, intertwined with her boundless compassion, only serve to make her all the more human, and all the more extraordinary.

A diligent student, Noriko’s true passion was baking, spending hours experimenting with recipes and dreaming of a future filled with confections. By middle school, her ambitions had grown beyond the family café, inspiring dreams of something much greater.
After high school, Noriko worked tirelessly, taking on odd jobs around Biei to save for her aspirations. Her efforts led her to a promising opportunity in the big city, but the reality was far tougher than expected. Despite setbacks, Noriko’s determination and optimism keep her striving toward her dreams, ready to overcome every challenge in her path.

✱ CHARACTER IDEAS.
Too Much Doubt: A student from a top Tokyo university, crushed by parental expectations and debt from a gacha game addiction, takes a job at Noriko’s café to make ends meet. Sarcastic and overly fond of fancy words they barely understand, Too Much Doubt try to seem sophisticated but are hilariously awkward, constantly tripping over trays, words, and their own feet.
Sharp Praises: A man of intimidating stature, capable of making even the bravest soul think twice ⏤ but don’t be fooled! His heart is bigger than the planet itself. Acting like a strict yet lovable father figure, Sharp Praises keeps the kitchen running like clockwork. Is it out of habit from his rumored days as a Yakuza? Who knows! He’s not saying, and no one’s brave enough to ask.
Shine Bright!: Brimming with confidence and an ego as shiny as her stage name, Shine Bright! refuses to let go of her glory days as a former idol in a famous pop group. If only it weren’t for that controversy that forced her to trade the spotlight for a waitress apron at Noriko’s café. Now, she spends her days trying to serve coffee discreetly—though her habit of breaking into idol poses and greeting customers like they’re adoring fans makes it clear she’s not blending in.
Many Secrets: As silent as the calm before a storm, Many Secrets keeps a low profile, whether he’s working as a barista at Noriko’s café or living as her mysterious roommate. After all, it’d be really awkward if she found out he originally scammed her out of this apartment... only to lose the money himself because of sheer carelessness. But hey, he’s a great barista, so maybe that balances things out? Probably not.
