(6) SHE'S TRUSTED

Observation doesn't work well if obsession acts like an obstacle to transparency. Obsession creates objection towards the truth just like a blurred mirror which has only one task, blockage of views. In order to make observation an accurate one be aspired to acquire your way through obstacles.

Dhristadyumn decided to stay some days in Dwarka to observe the way his nephews were nurtured. He was desperately waiting to hear his desired words around his nephews as their inspiration, but couldn't even hear anything synonymous to those words during his stay in Dwarka.

He decided to talk with the person who was entrusted with the upbringing of his nephews. She was Subhadra, obviously.

"I am very disappointed, Princess Subhadra, and reason is well known to you," Dhristadyumn started the conversation without any build up.

"Revenge isn't a good virtue to be taught about, Yuraaj!" Subhadra too didn't drag her reply much.

"This revenge is their right, Princess. My nephews have to fight for their mother's insult. So, they must be reminded of the mishap their mother went through," He stressed his last sentence to initiate a strong encounter.

"They have to fight for their mother's insult not for their mother!" She exclaimed making him loss of words for few moments.

"Fighting for her insult equals to fight for her," Gathering words he countered back.

"Both the things aren't equal, Yuraaj. Your sister won't be happy if her sons shed blood of their own clan with a motive of revenge. She wants justice not revenge, and only righteousness persons can achieve justice not revengeful ones," She explained hardly hoping him to be convinced.

"That was why we had chosen righteousness for princes instead of inculcating revenge into their hearts," Pradhyumna who was standing quiet from the beginning of conversation spoke in support of Subhadra.

Pradhyumna knew about Dhristadyumn's approach to Subhadra. So, he decided to stand beside Subhadra unlike his father as he didn't share the matter with his father and his uncle. Even Dhristadyumn didn't discuss anything about that matter with Kanha and dau.

"I don't agree with you both. For winning a war we need a spirit, and spirit should be a strong one. I don't think your way of training my nephews can fulfill that purpose," Dhristadyumn denied the duo straight.

"We can prove our words, Yuraaj!" Exchanging some glances with Pradhyumna Subhadra declared.

"Really? Then I am eager to witness that," Dhristadyumn stated in a sarcastic tone.

"Sure, let's have a duel of sword fight," Pradhyumna suggested, at which Dhristadyumn nodded.

A mother has always concern for her children's wellbeing. That concern becomes intense if any challenge looms over the stability of her children's wellbeing. That was the situation of Draupadi in forest. She was worried about her brother's stay in Dwarka as she knew how his stay could be ended up possibly.

She was worried about his state of mind which was expected to create an unpleasant scenario in Dwarka which might hurt her dear ones, her sons, Subhadra and her family.

"Panchali, don't be stressed out. Subhadra bhabhi is sensible enough to handle any situation," Sahdev tried his words to soothe Draupadi.

"I know that, Arya. I don't have doubt over her worth, but hurt is always hurt. It causes more pain if the person is a dear one who caused that. What if he does something wrong there!" She was tormented with the very imagination of her words.

"Bhabhi is wise enough to differentiate among the words which needs to be considered or which doesn't need to be," Sahdev placed his hand on her shoulder to assure her with his touch.

"But what about dau? He's so much caring and protective for Subhadra, and he's short tempered unlike arya Bheem. He won't tolerate anything against her if bhrata says anything like that!" She exclaimed again unlike last time.

"Relax, Panchali. Subhi can manage everything, and she can calm dau too. I trust her," Arjun who was listening their conversation spoke up finally. She couldn't deny his trust. So, nodded at him with genuine smile.

After consoling Draupadi Arjun remembered an incident about dau's care for Subhadra.

Flashback:

It was the time when royals of Dwarka were at Indraprastha to attend Subhadra's baby shower. On the night before that occasion Subhadra was feeling a bit restless. It was obvious for a mother to feel like that who was about to give birth at anytime.

"Arya, can we go out for a stroll? It may ease my restlessness," Subhadra urged considering the late hours of night.

"Sure, anything for my peace," Arjun wore his upper stole instantly.

They both walked out of their chamber. He was helping her in walking. He guided her towards stable.

"Why are we here, Arya?" She was surprised over their presence there.

"I don't want you to be tired due to stroll. So, you will sit on horse, and I will guard you from one side while walking with horse," His care melted her as if that was the first time he was caring for her.

"Like this you will be tired, Arya!" She pouted sadly.

"Don't you trust my love towards you? It won't allow me to be tired while serving you," He cupped her cheeks to convince her for sparing the chance of serving her.

"Where are you both going?" Dau appeared there out of blue.

"Dau, Subhi wished to go for a stroll, but don't worry. She will go on horse, and I will guard her from one side of horse," Arjun replied adding assurance to dau's concern which didn't even express itself till that time.

"I will also go with you both," Dau declared.

"I don't have doubt over your care for Gudiya, but you can't guard her from both sides. So, I prefer precaution in this case," Dau said noticing the exchange of glances in between the duo, especially Arjun's bewilderment.

"Right, we should prefer precaution, Dau!" Smiling heartily Arjun earned a warm embrace from dau.

They went out of palace for stroll. Arjun and dau was guarding Subhadra from both sides of horse. She was enjoying their care and attention.

More her smile dau was attentive towards the path so that her smile didn't even fade a little due to any discomfort. Arjun didn't lose chance of admiring dau's affection along with Subhadra's wide smile side by side.

Flashback ended

"No doubt dau is protective for Subhi, but he is considerate about her each feeling too. That was why he had accepted me wholeheartedly, and loved me always," Arjun smiled to himself coming back to present time.

"But I am not sure about getting the same love from him after leaving Subhi alone to face the harshness of life," He sighed at the reality of his words.

She was trusted with all the emotions of his heart. No matter how much tough the situation was that had enhanced his trust over her a bit more than the existed level.
