okay, not that I need anymore books, but I lowkey want to bring back an old fic that I wrote years ago. I'm talking like eighth grade/freshman year old, but like I really fell in love with this concept.

Derek and the OC (I don't remember her name) were put undercover and played as a couple that just moved into a new place together, and they're neighbors with this other couple, they're odd.

but these neighbors are running a huge operation, and Derek and the OC are attempting to befriend the neighbors and get invited to the operation. and basically, throughout the whole process they annoy the hell out of each other but they also slowly fall in love with each other.

Then when they shut down the operation and they return to their normal lives, everyone is totally unsurprised that they have feelings for each other. like, do y'all remember that one episode where Tony and Ziva went undercover in that hotel? That's what I'm thinking.
