listen, I'm deeply offended by the lack of adult!Remus Lupin fics. maybe it's because I like guys who are older than me or other things but I don't know.

BUT LISTEN TO ME. REMUS LUPIN IS HOT OKAY. ITS UNFAIR, AND HE'S SO SOFT AND I WANT TO LOVE HIM BUT HE DIES BC JK ROWLING IS A SHE DEVIL.

okay, now that's off my chest.

I remember seeing this prompt on Pinterest, but now I can't find it, but it's an "imagine your otp" type au thing. and like, teachers. it went along the lines of imagine your otp being high school teachers and all their students ship them and don't know that they're actually together.

and like, I just see Remus being a soft husband, okay. imagine that Remus got his life together after the war, and he met a nice girl that he used to go to school with and they get married and buy a home in the country where they don't have to move every few months. they make a liveable wage as Remus does menial jobs, and his wife tutors the children in the nearby wizarding village. it's just soft, and there's nothing super bad. and when they show up at Hogwarts to teach, nobody really knows of their marriage (mostly for practical reasons) but all the students seem to notice the slight chemistry between the two and spend the entire year trying to set up their teachers. and then at the end of the year, Remus kisses his wife at the feast and everyone is like woah. and another professor is like "did you idiots not know they were married?" bc Remus flirts with his wife every chance he got and NOBODY noticed.

of course, if I wrote this— it'd be something short. not very many chapters, and full of tooth-rotting fluff. or if preferred, I could always make it a mini series on tumblr 🤷🏻‍♀️ so tell me what y'all think?
