I stared at the darkness of the night and the sound of the waves pounding as the sea breeze hit my entire body.

I wonder why I ended up here. On this cruise ship.

Last week I got an e-mail that I won a vacation ticket lottery on a cruise. Since I really have no plans this weekend, I take this opportunity.

Suddenly the sound of a boom explosion was heard very loudly made me scream while closing my ears and eyes.

Screams started to be heard. Everyone seemed to be running around. Their faces looked scared and panicked.

Suddenly the loudspeakers buzzed and surprised everyone.

To all passengers and crew, please be prepared to rescue immediately. Please put on your respective life jackets and head to the deck to prepare to get off the boat. Damage to the main engine, this ship will sink in less than 30 minutes.

We repeat ...

Screaming and crying sounds. I couldn't hear clearly their screams. Everything sounds buzzing in my head and ears.

I quickly went to my room to take my life jacket then hurried towards the deck. Everyone panicked, but no one hurried down to the rescue boat.

I sighed and looked around when my eyes were fixed on a boy standing alone in the corner of the deck looking at everyone.

He's alone?

I then approached him as he glanced at me, "Are you alone? Where are your parents?" I ask because this child is no more than 13 years old in my eyes.

He looked at the people who were about to get off the ship, "No one will survive,"

I was surprised to hear that. My eyes widened at him. Shortly after he said that the loud bomb came again and we could all see the fire that absorbed the ship. The ship's lights suddenly died and replaced by a burst of fire.

"One more explosion and everyone will die," the boy said.

How can he be so calm? My heart was beating fast, my feelings were mixed making it difficult for me to breathe. Am I really going to die here?

"That's what should have happened," the boy suddenly approached me and held my hand, "This is a secret. A gift because you are aware of my existence,"

I looked at him confused. He smiled and his smile was the last thing I saw before a loud bomb burning the entire ship.

When I opened my eyes, I lay in the hospital. I don't remember anything. However, I heard that the trip was canceled due to engine damage. They said they found me unconscious on the boat deck.

I'm still trying to understand what happened. That boy? Is all that just a dream? But, when I was going to get off the ship I heard it.

They said that there should have been 100 passengers who had boarded the ship, but when getting off the ship only 99 passengers had disembarked.
