I woke up on the bottom of the forest floor and looked at the sun's positioning in the sky. Then I got my things ready and got up to leave and head to the meeting place, but there was a rustle behind me just as I took a step to leave the forest. I turned pulling a throwing knife from my belt and threw it at the sound. I heard a groan and then a thump and the forest floor as something fell to the ground. Then I unlatched my bow and notched an arrow aiming at the spot while I walked over. 

"I knew that you were a good knife thrower, but that just took me by surprise" Conner said standing up from behind the bushes and taking out the knife painfully, and then he sat on the floor and dressed it with bandages and gauze and I was about to open my mouth to say sorry but he cut me off, like his rude nature does anyways "don't you say sorry because I deserved it for trying to sneak up on you knowingly, and you will get even worse when you hear that Haley died last night". I was shocked and all that I could do was stand there for a second looking at a tree, and then I burned with anger...literally. 

"Who and how did it happen" I asked angrily

"I don't know I had gotten out of bed and went to the bathroom when a bomb went through our window and the house exploded, but I know that she is dead because she was right next to me before I got up and I...I saw her burned corpse right before it was turned to ash by another bomb" he looked at the floor in sadness "I barely got out of there without anything other than this burn" he showed me the long black burn on his waist after he undid it's bandage "and as for who did it. I think that we both know that one" 

"I am going to kill them...slowly" I said now lighting up the grass and the surrounding area on fire, and then I calmed myself down and blew wind around the area to put out the fires, and then a little water just to make sure that they were out. Though I didn't know why but my shoulders and arms were burning, but I just pushed the pain to the back of my head as nothing. 

"We still can't just go in without a plan though, and we need to mourn over our lost friend and my lost sister" Conner said and I looked at him with a little sadness in my eyes because he was right, we did need to mourn for a little while. 

"I am still sticking to my original plan of storming the place with all that I have, but you are staying here with me so that you don't die too" I said "and as much as I hate to say this, but I need you because you have been my only friend that I care about" and he nodded, and the rest of the day we stayed in the forest moving to different places and getting closer to the biggest base. The pain still wouldn't go away, and now it was burning throughout my shoulders, arms, body, and halfway down my legs, and the crappy thing was that I knew what it was but I didn't want to say anything about my little fight a couple of nights ago on that full moon night. 

"Lets stop here and make camp, k" I said and we stopped and made camp at eight in the afternoon, and the sun was starting to fade. I looked at the moon and saw that it was almost full, and tomorrow night I would turn, and I didn't want Conner to be there when it happened. 

"I go catch us some food" he said and I stood up to do it, but he put his hand on my shoulder and brought me back down again "don't you have done more than me this whole trip, and I think that it is my turn to do something for once...just rest, k I'll be back soon" 

"Fine, but if you don't come back within a half hour then I am coming after you" I said and he nodded, and then when he was gone I lazily put some leaves and sticks together for a campfire, and threw a weak fireball at it making a small camp-fire. Forty minutes passed and he still wasn't back, so I got up and went to grab my bow and arrows but then collapsed on the floor from the pain in my entire body. My bones snapped and all of them broke as they expanded, and my teeth fell out to give way to teeth sharp-to-the-point, and then I screamed as my entire body grew. 

"No it isn't a full moon stupid body" I hissed as I held in and other screams, and tried to resist the change, and then I saw Conner come back with a deer "Conner" I screamed and he dropped the deer and rushed over to my side only to stop and stare at me in horror. 

"No-no-no-no I can't lose another person that I care about" he said looking at my state in horror.

"Your not losing me stupid" I said laughing a little and then wincing from the pain "I need you to leave me while I change and don't come out unless you think that I wouldn't kill you" 

"But-" he tried

"No- no but's" I interrupted "I am holding it back, but I won't be able to for long, and I don't want you to get hurt, killed, or captured if they find us or you, so please just go hide somewhere, and hide yourself good" at this he backed up and left, and when he did I stopped resisting and the pain was so much that I screamed so loud that I shook the ground and the forest. I grabbed the nearest thing to me which was the silver bag that my cloaks, weapons, and other things were in as I changed. I grew four long scaly silver legs, I grew a wide snout with rows and rows of sharp teeth that could shred anything, my body was covered in silver scales and I grew a tail with a crossbow at the end. 

Then I felt a large pain in my back and I screamed a high-pitched screech as two large scaly wings burst out of my back and my body heated up as metal spikes popped up and went along my spine all the way down to my tail, then it started to cool as a cloak covered my entire body from my tail to my head and going around my legs, head, body, and tail forming a silver cloak, but it wouldn't come off. I tried to scratch at it with my leg claws, rub it against a tree, blow anything at it, expand my body to break it, and heat up and cool down my body, but it was still there making me mad. I growled at it and and sat down in defeat accepting the face that I wasn't going to get out of it, and then it receded and I could see that I was covered in silver-black fire-like patterns all over my body, and then I stood and I was still bare. I called, or wished, for it to come back and it did, so I just played around with this for a little while until I got bored of it and decided to look at what happened to me. 

I looked at my back and saw that I had two long silver scaled wings that had razor-sharp edges and thought that werewolves didn't have wings, so I went over to the small pond near to me and looked at my reflection in the water. I saw something that I didn't recognize, and I blew at the water and after the water was done rippling I saw the same thing. I lifted a hand and touched the surface of the water and I saw that I didn't have hands, or werewolf paws. I had a scaled paw with five, two-foot long claws at the end, and I looked at it and jumped back from the water and the water split from my scream and the entire thing evaporated as I let out a plume of flame into the pond killing all the life living in it and turning the pond into water particles scattered throughout the air. Then I heard a snap behind me and I pulled up my cloak, and I saw Conner coming out from the woods with the captain soldier, and the other five soldiers. 

Come on I can't leave you anywhere with out you getting into some type of trouble I thought and they looked around and then the captain handed Conner over to the other soldiers and walked over to the evaporated pond. He bent down on one knee and touched the edge of it, and I watched them from the other side of the small pond. The captain looked at it confused and then looked around for something...me maybe. 

"What is it captain" the lady soldier said confused

"I know these woods like the back of my hand" he said

"What do you mean" she asked 

"I mean I grew up her and there used to be a small pond right here" he looked at it once again "and now it's gone like it was never there" I lifted my tail and pointed it in the direction that I think it would hit the captain's head, and I wondered if something would work. I willed them to shoot at him and it did, but missed and hit right in-between his legs. He jumped back in surprise and pulled out an actual rifle, and aimed in my direction, and I realized that my cloak made me invisible to anything and anyone. 

"What. The. Hell" he said and the others grabbed Conner and went over to a tree and tied him to it making me growl in disapproval. 

"What the hell was that, and how is there an arrow right there" one of the male soldiers said "wasn't there before" wait they didn't see how fast it went? I was confused as to why they were confused... It was a very confusing concept. 

"I don't know, but we need to find out in case something happened to the girl" the captain said and I snorted, and then the captain gave a few hand signals and they split up with the captain going through the evaporated pond and the others going around. I crouched and leaped over the small pond going over the captain and ending up on the other side of the pond. Then I used a claw to cut the ropes from Conner's hands and I retracted four spikes on my back for a spot that he could sit in. Then I cut his hand bonds and he looked behind him to see who was freeing him, and I hissed and he stopped turning and went back to the position that he was in to let me finish, and not making a sound to be careful. I lifted my head and saw them on the other side and the captain was just looking around with his gun in hand. 

I retracted all of the spikes from my head to the middle of my back and made one of them thick and flat faced so that he wouldn't be cut in half when he slid down my neck and back. Then I put my head in-between his legs and threw him in the air making him yell in surprise and then calm down as he fell through the air and onto my back in the little spot that I made for him, and then I let my spikes on my head and neck pop up again with a sharp metallic sound and then I flattened out the spike in-front of him encasing him safely on my back so that all that would happen is him running into two flat walls and getting a couple of bruises and other things. I looked back at him and then looked at the others and saw that they were now running back over here and when they got over they started to look around for Conner, and then they saw the cut ropes and the single set of his footprints. I was glad that I didn't leave any foot-prints because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do this 'rescue'. 

I went over to the side and watched them look around for a while before coming back to the area and looking at each-other confused. 

"So first the pond disappears, and now our prisoner and bait to get the girl" the leaders said frustrated, and he shot his gun in my direction and I watched as the bullet struck my armored body and ricocheted off making a loud metallic sound. They all stopped and looked in my direction slowly, and I figured that this was the perfect time to announce my presence. I let myself appear to them and they saw a large cloaked silver dragon grinning at them for a second, and then I took in a deep breath and they all scattered finding cover in the trees or in the pond ditch that I had created by accident. Then I blew a stream of hot silver fire at the spots that they were hiding at and when I was done I had burned everything so thoroughly that it was covered in shiny silver that was still bubbling hot. 

They all slowly stepped out from where they hid and looked at me in awe and then I turned and leaped out of the area and ran as fast as I could to the military base with Conner on my back gripping two handles that I created for him when I found out that he was gripping my back and he was gripping it rather hard. I then stopped running right before the clearing in the forest and saw that I was in the middle of a large field of green grass. surrounded by the rest of the fires and a little part of it leading to the opening of the base. I dumped Conner off my back and he landed on the floor with a thump, and groaning as he rolled around to get up again. Then he saw me looking at him angered and stopped moving, and I heard his breath catch thinking that I was going to kill or hurt him. 

Are you stupid Conner I said into his mind I leave you alone to hide while I change and you just had to get captured an used as bait for them to try and get to me. I was very mad at him for not being the assassin that I knew, but no he wasn't careful and by doing so he got captured after they almost killed him and his sister. 

"What your-your" he started

Of coarse I am stupid do you not recognize me I said and then looked him in the eyes and realization crossed him face I do not want you to ever say my name aloud okay

"Okay, but I don't understand how this happened to you" he said and I shrugged looking myself over again 

I don't know why I didn't turn into a werewolf either I said and he flinched a little but I still noticed it yes I was bitten by a werewolf when I was in a fight a week ago, but I don't understand why I turned a night early, and why I am a dragon and not a werewolf. I was supposed to be in an academy as my final test from my teacher, but I was driven out when they tried to make me become a soldier. 

"Why didn't they ask you" he asked 

They did ask, but when I turned them down they didn't like that, so they tried to knock me out with a gas grenade, but I escaped and injured three people as well as a teacher during my escape I said it was my final test from my mistress and I don't know if I can go back and she will give me a new thing to try and earn it for, so I am just going to stay out here and survive for four years and ten go back after that is over to tell how it was and what happened there, as well as what I did during it I said and looked at the ground sadly

"Who is your teacher" Conner asked when he knew not to 

I can't tel you because it's bad enough that you know my name, but if you knew who my teacher was then I would have to kill you I said threateningly and he knew it so he backed off and slid further away from me before getting up and heading for the base 

"Let's go and finish this thing" Conner said as he walked towards the direction of the base 

No I am going to the base alone I said I don't want to have to worry about you when I am attacking the place, and you would only the in the way most of the time also there is a very high chance that you will be killed there either by me or by them. So no you are staying here and I am going to destroy the place, but I will bring back the person that killed Haley so that you can destroy him I said it that way to be less gruesome about what he would do to the man. I saw that he had stopped and was going to obey me and what I said because he knew that I could easily make him stay while I did what I said I would. 

"I will be waiting here until you return" he said 

Good, but do me one more thing I said and he looked at me confused

"What" he asked

Don't get captured again, or killed I turned around and got ready destroy the place your all I have left I looked at him one more time and then shot off in the direction of the base.
