I woke up to a loud bell going through out the entire school, but to my surprise I didn't fall off of my wall-bed thing. I waited for a couple of seconds while the ringing of my ears was constant with the bell, and then it stopped and almost everyone in the entire place was out of their buildings and walking or running somewhere in a hurry. I saw what looked like two roommates walking under me talking to each-other in the alleyway as I watched them from my perch. I saw that they kept on looking at each-other and talking or laughing every so often, but they didn't look up once. 

Whatever I thought because if this place was so safe then no one would be worrying about a person stalking them from above. I fell off of the pillar that I made in the wall and started to dive towards them as I used my earth powers to make the pillar sink back into the wall, and at about ten feet from them I spread my wings and started to glide above them listening at a good distance away. 

"How do you think the test went for you" one of them asked and I noticed that they were both my age, and not caring about anything in the world "I hope that I get in the Jade division because I've been studying hard for it"

"Same" the other one said "but I want to get into the Emerald Division"

"Why do you guys want to split up if you guys are friends and roommates" I said from above and they both whipped around and shot something that looked like lightning at me, but I caught it and fashioned it into a ball holding it in my hands. 

"Who are you? How'd you do that? Why are you here? And why can you fly?" the one with the blond hair and that wanted to be in the Jade division said and I landed and tucked my wings behind me even though they still dragged on the floor, but I didn't care about that because I was used to it now. I dispersed the ball of lightning and scattered it into the air as static electricity. 

"One I've been learning and taught everything about the elements, and I know how to use, counter, and mix them which I'm assuming that you don't by your priceless faces, Two I am supposedly the Dragon and Angel queen, and that is why I can fly, Three I don't know why I'm here, but I'm about to find out" I said to them and they backed away from me a couple of feet "where are you going?" 

"There is a school-wide assembly that we all are attending in the Games Arena, and we all took a test to find out what division we are in" the one that wanted to go in the Emerald division said and I wondered if the test that I took while I was recovering was what they were talking about and I noticed that she blended in with the shadows and her hair was black, but her skin was pale. I looked at them both and noticed that they both had pale skin, and I recognized that they were both vampires. I jumped on one and used my telekinesis powers to take out a silver stake and levitate it in-front of the others heart. 

"Wait, wait don't kill us please" the one that I was on, or the black-haired one said and I hesitated with my hands around a stake just above her heart 

"Why" I asked "all of the times that I've met a vampire they've tried to kill me" 

"We aren't part of a coven, we are rogues, and this is a place of peace where everyone and everything can get along, not kill each-other, and make friends that they never would've had" the blond one with the stake levitating at her heart said fearlessly. I flapped my wings once and flew off of the black haired one, and hovered in the air. Then I sheathed the stake that I was holding and looked at the black haired one and I noticed that she had a bite mark in her neck. 

"Why does she have a--" I started as I took the stake that was in-front of the blond and she let out a breath that I didn't know she was holding. 

"She was turned by a coven that kidnapped us" the blond interrupted and I growled at her giving her a dangerous look, but she didn't care because she just walked over and helped her roommate up before turning to me again "I killed them after I was turned and then I helped her cope with the new changes that happened to her, and why do I smell Wyvern on you?" 

"I was scratched by a Wyvern a little while ago" I said and they backed up a little more "what now?" 

"Your going to change in ways that you don't even know yet" the blond said and then she turned to her roommate and they both looked at their watches, jumped in shock, and ran out of sight using their vampire speed. I didn't know what they meant by I was going to change even more than I already had, but I was going to find that Wyvern and kill it, and hopefully soon. I flapped my wings and followed their dust trail in the air, and the trail stopped at a large circular building that would be used for sports usually, but if they said the arena like what happened in it was a sport type of thing. I used my telekinesis to make a illuminated disk under me so that I could float above them and watch what happened from here. I tapped into my enhanced vision and watched as a lady came out onto the field to a stage in the center of it with a microphone attached to the front, and then she started talking and I realized after a couple of sentences of her talking with no sound that I needed to hear her, so I used my enhanced hearing and caught the middle of the sentence of what she was saying. 

"...and this academy is a place where it's students can live together in peace with an enemy, and where people don't need to live in fear, but even so our school needs protection and that is why every year three new students are added as trainees to each division, and this list contains those names" she held a piece of paper and then put it on a little table by the podium "but since we only have four teams not many of you are going to be chosen. Anyways first we have the Jade Division with new additions Jane Cassidy, Michael June, and James Birch" three people jumped up in excitement and amazement, and I noticed that the blond vampire jumped up as well from where she was sitting by her friend, and the three went down to the stage and got jade colored badges. 

"Next the Emerald Division with Carmella Jones, Michelle Gold, and John Winder" and the black-haired vampire also got up in excitement and went down to the podium to get her badge and stand by the others "then the Diamond Division Draco, Alex, and Rebecca their last names weren't given" the lady said sheepishly and everyone laughed a little as Draco, Alex, and Rebecca flew over and got their badges "and last the Obsidian Division and these were the people that were top of their class, Wolfclaw Steelheart, Daniel Whisper, and the third is still being decided" she didn't sound that sure about that and I looked at the last name on the list to see that it was mine, and I was glad that she didn't say it aloud otherwise most of these people would die from shock, or my blades. Otherwise Daniel and Wolfclaw went up to the podium and got a pitch-black badge attached to their shirt. I felt something tug at my disk and then it was snapped away and the next thing I knew was that I was falling through the air and a sword black as night was falling with me until it seemed to melt into the air. I shifted and looked around to see ten people flying over, and the lead one was in black armor and had the sword that I saw. I growled and turned invisible, and then I noticed that one of them in the greenish armor was still watching me. I aimed my crossbow-tail and shot three shots just below the first three's feet, and then I shifted and dived pulling out two knives just in case they attacked. I landed on the ground and started to walk to the forest, and then I heard four soft thumps behind me and I spun around and threw two knives at the face of the one in black and the one in diamond armor, and then stopped them just before their faces. They both almost fell to the floor in shock, but my knives continued to stay in-front of their faces and would do so even if they fell. The other two started to go in-front of them but were stopped by two knives appearing at their chests. 

"How can you move so fast" the one in Diamond armor asked not showing any fear but amazement, and I was surprised at their calmness in the face of danger kind of like me when I was in a little island on the ocean, and had to find my way back to land without getting captured, killed, or severely hurt, and I made it back but with a few little bruises and scratches which I was punished for with laps, and continuous training for the rest of that day. 

"I am someone that you don't want to make angry, but good for you I am only slightly annoyed" I said and snapped my fingers and the four knives came back and sheathed themselves in my belt. 

"You're ho--" I went over and punched the jade armored person in the face making him fall to the floor unable to finish his sentence because of his hands gripping his bleeding mouth, nose, and face.

"And that's why you don't mess with a woman Mitch" the lady in the Emerald said leaning over and laughing a little "it's about time someone showed him a lesson" she said, and then they all yelled in shock because I was already a mile away, and in the forest. My stomach grumbled, so I turned and smelled the air for something to eat, and there was a mountain lion a short distance away and the scent of a fearful deer was near it. I tucked in my wings retracted my spikes and ran top speed through the forest towards the two, and then I jumped onto the deer and pierced it's heart with my claw before dropping it and advancing on the lion. 

"Please don't kill me" it said and I stopped and looked at it in confusion cocking my head to the side

How can you talk I asked it and it backed away further and why are you so far out into the forest plus where you in the assembly. 

"Yes, but I can talk because I have taught myself how to in this form though it was hard, and I am never going to go through it again" he said and then he shifted "as for the deer that you just killed I was practicing my hunting, but I haven't really done good yet besides cornering prey" he plopped onto a nearby log which buckled under his weight and snapped in half making him tumble to the floor. Then he sat up, looked at the log and probably what was inside of it, and jumped up brushing himself off frantically. I sent spikes into the trees out of laughter and even more when he looked at them in fear and wariness. 

I can teach you if you want I said and he jumped around like a puppy and looked at me with hope-filled eyes I am going to eat first through, and if you want to watch be my guest, but what you kill is what you eat, and in this form you can't use any other weapons but your claws, stealth, and your teeth he nodded and shifted going into the forest to let me eat in peace, and when I was done tearing through the carcass I heard something above me and quickly stepped out of the way as a surprised and wailing cat came flying down through the air, and he hit the ground hard before sighing and laying there in defeat. 

"I'm never going to eat something fresh in this forest" he sighed again but I swiped my claws in-front of his paws making him jump us in shock, and then he hissed at me "what was that for" 

That is exactly the thing that you need to use and do to your prey I said you need to make them so scared and disoriented that they don't and never will know what had happened until their last breath slips away I walked over to him and he seemed to be thinking about it for a moment before it snapped. I shifted into a mountain lion like his, and then we ran to a field, and after running for a while he was huffing and puffing like a fish. I looked back at him as he sagged slowly to the ground in anguish. 

That is something we are going to fix immediately I said and then I walked around him and started to go back to the academy

"Wait what" he asked "I thought that we were going to hunt" 

We were, and then I found out that you can't run I looked over my shoulder at him and started to walk back I want you here every day at noon to train on your running and then we'll move to stealth I shifted and took to the air leaving him lying there huffing and puffing as he slowly made his way back.
