Chapter 1
The place was very pretty with a polished metal water fountain in the middle of a roundabout section, and there were others scattered along the whole place. I saw tall buildings that were a faded red brick color, and the roofs were flat. I noticed that along with all of the pretty balconies and other colors and things that were in and in the buildings. They would be easy to climb should I need to use a sniper, or get up them quickly and run. All of the grass and plants in the area were green and healthy like winter never comes around here and kills almost everything in sight. There were white pines all around the intersections in straight planted lines, and everything seemed perfect here until I saw all of the kids that the front of a large building and then everything beautiful went down down the drain.
"How many are going here" I asked my mom
"I don't know maybe three hundred students or a little more" she looked at them surprised as well and then it lightened up and became a grinning mischievous face, and I hated that face because it meant that she was thinking or going to do something that I didn't like or want her to do.
"So that means that I'll be in ten different classes with about thirty students each" I evaluated "great"
"You'll be fine" my mom said
"I know that I'll be fine, but I don't know if they will be after this is over" I said looking at her and she sighed before getting out of the car with me following.
"Well lets get this over with" mom said once she reached my side, and as we walked through it seemed like everyone cringed or moved out of the way for some reason that they didn't know, and this got me confused. We walked to the front of the line and Mom signed a sheet of paper and classes that she wanted me to get enrolled in, and then she gave me my schedule paper, hugged me, and went to her car again alone this time. I watched her drive away, and then I looked around for an un-populated spot, but there were none close by so I just went to the closest tree that everyone seemed to be avoiding.
As I went over to it I could feel people looking at me and judging me, but they moved out of my way like my mother had. When I got to the tree I saw why no one was under it, but I didn't care about the bees that were all around it. So I just went under the thing touching the tree and telling all of the pollinating bees to stay away from me. I knew that they would anyways, but I just wanted to make it clearer for them, and then I looked at my schedule and I saw that she had given me mainly fighting and distance classes and this relieved me. I looked around to see everyone staring at me in shock and fear, but I and they didn't know what made them fear me. I just shrugged and looked back at my schedule memorizing it, so that I didn't need it later and could either throw it away, or put it somewhere I could get to later if I needed it.

I was happy with what my mom had chosen for me, and I was looking up thinking how easy my stay here was going to be. Then I heard a loud siren, and I noticed that everyone was going to the main doors, so I got out from under the tree carefully and followed them in.
"How did you do that" a person said as they came up to me "that tree has killed everyone that came near it" I thought that the bees looked weirder than I was used to, but I shrugged and walked on leaving him far behind and in shock. I got to my first class and got on the track sitting down to wait for the others to come, but after ten minutes I started to get antsy. So I got off the metal bleachers, and got on the track ready to run. I got in my running stance and then shot off with practiced speed, and as I ran I closed my eyes feeling the track under my feet and the wind blow past my ears. The wind and the earth told me where to turn and I could see an outline of the track from below even with my eyes closed. I did three laps, five, ten, and then twenty before stopping and opening my eyes to see that I was at the start line again and there was a whole class of people looking at me. As well as a very fit teacher that I presumed taught this class, and kept himself in good shape.
"I had never seen anyone run so long, fast, and efficiently until you" he said flabbergasted a little and I looked at him in surprise.
"I didn't expect to have any spectators watching me" I said and this made a couple people chuckle "much less the entire class" and at this point the suspense was lifted and I was free to go to the benches and watch the others make pitiful attempts to do three laps, and then end up giving up and sitting on the bottom on the benches. By the time the last person did their third lap around the loud siren sounded and everyone went out and I headed to my next class; Paranormal Activities and Formations. When I got there I took a seat in the back and sat down looking at the four other students here already. They all were looking at each other and then me like they were either talking to each other, or they understood something that I didn't and it frustrated me a-lot.
"If you want to say something to me then say it with your lips and not your face" I said to them accusingly and one of the men surprisingly growled lowly in his throat at me, and I didn't like this at all but I didn't attack and injure. I just gave him a very deathly glare and he stopped growling at me and turned his attention away. After this little confrontation the rest of the class suddenly came through the door and so did a lady wearing a green and ocean blue dress. I guessed that this was our teacher because she began writing some words on the board. When she finished I saw that it was the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River, and I was wondering why this was our first exercise.
"Who knows what the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River are, and why they relate to each other" she said and a couple of people raised their hands while I just stared at the board thinking about what she might be getting to.
"Good" she continued "I am glad to know that almost everyone here knows what it is. Now how many people know how it relates to this class, and I saw that no one's hands went up. This didn't surprise her because she just used the rest of the class period to explain that a group of powerful water users created the canyon by using the river to carve out the sides of the rocks to make it a popular tourist spot, and no one knew because everyone thought that it was just a natural thing that happened a couple of eons or centuries ago. Then the loud siren rang again signaling the end of the class. I got up and went to my next class; Weapons Class, mainly thinking that it was going to be fun.
"Hey" I turned around to the source of the voice to see that it was the same boy as earlier, the one that bugged me about the tree thing.
"Now what do you want" I asked not caring to hide that I was annoyed
"I just wanted to talk to you after school that's all" he said stepping back a little in fear
"Okay" I looked at him bored and annoyed "where"
"At the green and yellow apartment complex in campus" he said "it's by--"
"I know where it is" I snapped "I'll see you then I guess" I turned again and went to my next class, and when I got there I saw everyone talking to friends about things. So I looked around for the weapons rack, but frowned when I didn't see it out. Instead I went over to a corner and sat down waiting for the teacher to come in and the weapons rack to appear so that I could grab a weapon to train with. A couple of minutes after everyone was here the teacher came in and I saw that our teacher was a man with well toned muscles and he looked like he was one of the two handed heavy sword men. He pressed a button on the white wall and a rack full of weapons came out of the wall, and I marked the place of the button so that I could come back later for weapons if I needed to in the future. I stood and his attention snapped to me, but I moved forward not effected. This seemed to confuse him because his expression changed to one of shock as I came up to the rack and grabbed a sword testing it's balance out. I then saw a pair of black swords, and I put away the sword that I was holding and grabbed them. When I grabbed them I felt a shock, and I was pulled into a memory of some kind.
Slice, hack, cut, and block was all that the swords did working in perfect grace and ease as they cut through the enemy before them. The person turned and barely blocked a strike from a hooded person, and they became to focus of the battle. Twisting, slashing, parrying as the person fought with the hooded figure, and then the hooded figure did a twist and a metallic slice was heard right before the thump of a head and the scene started to fall, and the swords ended up stuck in the ground with the hilt in the air. Then the scene ended with cheering and screaming as the final sounds of the battle.
I came back to the present with everyone looking at me in shock, and I noticed that I was still holding the mysterious blades. I put them back and walked back to my little spot with everyone's eyes on me. I was stopped by some force that tried to hold my arms together and pull me backwards, but I was not going to get taken over by some spell. I growled in my throat and pulled against the force, and when I felt that it was thinner and less as strong I pulled out my arms and it snapped. I turned around with a death glare, and I saw a couple of kids on the ground gripping their heads and groaning in pain.
I calmed myself down and sat back down in my spot, and after a couple minutes of silence people got up and went to get their weapons from the rack, but everyone didn't even go near the black twin swords. I went over again and grabbed the swords again, and this time instead of shocking me and giving me another memory. They seemed to bond with me greeting my hands with a warm heat, and then I grabbed the back sheathes and grabbed it about to put it in my suitcase. Then I remembered that my suitcase was still outside, so I snapped my fingers and it appeared at my spot open. I went over and put the belt into it and then I zipped it shut and made it disappear to the void. Then I went over to train with the dummies in the corner, and the bell rung just as I had cut all three of their heads off at once. Then I went over to put the weapons back on the rack with the rest of the weapons, but the man put his arm out in a stop signal.
"It chose you after ten years" he said catching me by surprise, what did he mean chose "I mean that you are the only one that it has accepted and you get to keep them, but put them somewhere that you won't have to use them and where they won't be visible to others"
"Okay" I said a little hesitantly, so I turned away from him and opened a portal as I walked dropping them in it. Then I went to my next class Skill and Archery Class and when I got there I saw that everyone was getting bows ready and taking spots by targets.
