A fortress was built in the night
Defended itself against any and all
For years it worked
Defending and shielding itself

But then a crack appeared
Letting light in
An intruder broke the wall
Didn't bother looking for weak spots

The walls started to crumble
Those inside tried to fix it
But it was in vain
Because the wall was almost gone
Years later

But then the wall met a new adversary
Judged for what was inside
So it built itself up again
Blocking out everyone and ready to hide.
