I got a spider bite on my neck and another unknown (idk what did it, looks like a swollen mosquito bite but idk) bite on my hand that both STINGGGGGG
They hurt a lot lol (at the time of writing this they feel a bit better but still hurt)
I've also got to practice two songs for a school Cabaret in two weeks (the songs are Stupid Cupid by Connie Francis and Moondance by Michael Bublé) with three other people :)
Anyway, any TWs will be listed under this before the chapter begins, but I hope you enjoy this Chapter!

---Void's POV---

"Sir!" A figure of Darkness burst into his 'office', with a terrified look in their eyes. Void noticed that they were the one who had given themselves a dark blue scarf, which Void had tried to get them to take off but eventually gave up on it.

Void whipped around with a glare.
"Do I have to repeat to everyone for the tenth time now to KNOCK?!"

The Darkness figure shrank into himself, another look of terror on their face.

Void groaned. "Fine. What?" He snapped and the Darkness figure eventually mustered up courage to talk, which Void rolled his eyes at the time it took to do.

"There's an invader in the castle." The Darkness figure murmured.

Void's eyes widened slightly in just a little bit of confusion. "Who? Do you know?"

"I think it's Sabre. The non-Steve. One of the Third Hero's friends." The Darkness figure glanced away as Void huffed.

"How far in is he?" Void was expecting for him to maybe be past the first line of defence and only just entering the castle. He was weak, anyway.

"He's at the very least at the last line of defence. He could be here at any moment if Corruption and Soul fail to stop him." The Darkness figure looked even more worried, continuously glancing at the door as if Sabre would burst in at any moment.

Void's eye widened again. "...What." 

The Darkness figure stammered, not saying any particular words, looking terrified of both Void and the possibility of Sabre's arrival.
"H-He seemed pretty determined to get through. I think he's after you."

Void was silent at that. Although he knew Sabre was weak, he had to admit the non-Steve had put up quite a fight the last time they met. And Void was still recovering.

He would've lifted a hand to the few burns scars he had gained from their last fight if the Darkness figure wasn't there. He didn't want to seem weak in front of any of the Darkness.

Void grumbled and turned away from the Darkness figure.
"Leave me. I will fight him when he arrives."

"But sir---you might--" The Darkness figure started, but stepped back when Void whipped around.

"What?! I won't loose. I'll be fine!" Void snapped at the Darkness figure, who nodded quickly.

"O-of course! You're the great Void! I was just...just making sure you were okay...?" The Darkness figure smiled and Void sighed.

"I'm...fine." Void turned away again, ignoring the Darkness figure waving at him as they left, also pretending to not hear them wish him good luck.

Void was sitting at his desk, and had been for about five minutes. He was tapping his foot on the ground, holding a sword while glaring at it.

He had been waiting for Sabre to arrive since the Darkness figure left, and was starting to wonder if Sabre had been defeated or not. But he was sure that a Darkness figure would come in and tell him, whether or not it was the same one as before.

Then the door was burst open in a fireball, Sabre standing in the doorframe.

Sabre glared at Void with a look of pure fury, Void noticing that Sabre's blindfold had been move to cover only his left eye, so Void could see his vibrant green right eye that glared at Void with hatred.

Void tried not to shrink under his gaze. He was very confused on how Sabre scared him, but he stood up with a sly grin as if nothing was wrong.

"Sabre! What are you doing here? Don't tell me you went out of your way to visit me?" Void grinned, stepping forward with a small smile.

Sabre's glare hardened. "I didn't." He spat out, looking like he didn't want to talk. So Void decided to talk.

"Well, then, why are you here?" Void grinned, pacing back and forth in front of Sabre.

"To kill you. For Rainbow, and for anyone else you've hurt or killed." Sabre snarled, wings Void hadn't really noticed before flaring up as if Sabre was trying to make himself look bigger.

Void's smile dropped to a frown but he chuckled. "Oh, really? You think you can kill me? I've defeated so many that are way more powerful than you, even before I was charged up with the crystals." Void laughed.

Sabre rolled his visible eye, moving his moveable arm up to a position that looked like he was crossing his arms.

Void's eyes flicked to Sabre's paralyzed arm with a scoff. "Still haven't gotten movement back?" Void knew he couldn't, but he was just taunting him.

Sabre's fury showed itself in his eye, which Void just chuckled at.

"Come on. If you think you're so powerful, then fight me." Void spread out his arms, his sword hanging in one of his hand tauntingly.

Sabre's eyes narrowed and he darted forward, firing a fireball straight at Void.

Void lifted his sword up to deflect it, but was surprised when it just knocked Void's sword away.
His eyes widened and he looked at Sabre before being punched in the face.

Void snarled and blasted a fireball at Sabre, reaching for the sword again.

Sabre stamped his foot down onto Void's arm after dodging the fireball.
Sabre opened his mouth to say something but was cut off when Void managed to twist his arm away from Sabre.

Sabre stumbled and was hit by a lightning strike from Void, retaliating with his own lightning strike.

Void shrieked and grabbed his sword, swinging at Sabre, who pulled out his own sword and blocked the attacks.

The two couldn't break through each other's defences, which did surprise Void that he couldn't defeat Sabre.

Void shook his head at that thought. He would defeat Sabre, he just needed to tire him out first.

He leapt forward, firing multiple fireballs at the non-Steve, who's expression changed to a bit of shock and fear before diving to the side.

Void swung his sword at Sabre, managing to cut his side. Sabre shrieked and punched blindly at Void, who grabbed his arm and tugged him forward to try to stab him in the stomach.

Sabre hit Void with a quite painful headbutt but Void clung on.
Sabre snarled at Void, trying to kick his knees to make Void trip.

Void then hissed in pain when Sabre managed to manoeuvre his arm enough to stab Void on the back.
Sabre chuckled and then yelped when he was thrown across the room.

"Fool! You can't defeat me! I am the all-powerful Void!" Void screamed angrily, staring at Sabre as he stood up.

"Well I'm Sabre." Sabre grinned and flew forward, slamming into Void and kicking him into the ground a few steps away, making Void's sword clatter to the ground next to him.
Sabre then raised his sword and managed to stab Void's hood, pinning his head to the ground.

Void reached for the sword to tug it out, but Sabre grabbed one of Void's hands with his own moveable hand and pinned the other hand down with his foot.

Void growled and Sabre smiled triumphantly. But this fight wasn't over yet.

Void was able to move the hand that was trapped under Sabre's foot and made the non-Steve stumble, giving Void a chance to grab his sword and stab Sabre's leg.

Sabre screeched in pain and kicked Void in the face, both of them firing fireballs and lightning strikes at eachother.

Void could barely stand up without being knocked down by a fireball, eventually not even trying to get up as the world was spinning.

Sabre stood over Void, injured and trying to catch his breath.

Void glared up at him, reaching for something tied to his sword in a small, black bag.

Sabre leant down and stabbed his sword into Void's arm, which had grabbed the bag by now.
"You killed, corrupted and hurt countless Steves. And I'm going to make sure that your reign of terror ends." 

Void didn't respond, just baring his teeth with a snarl.

Sabre scoffed. "Look at you. You were once a great hero. Why did you throw that all away?"
Void tried to hide the wave of emotions that came with those words.

He ignored the happy memories of that time, with... Colle... and the others. 
Void glanced away from Sabre, a small feeling of wistfulness for those times creeping into his mind.

No. He was the Darkness leader now, and Colle and the others were long gone. He didn't care. He wouldn't care.
Besides, it was too late for regret now.

"I became Void because the crystals rejected me." Void snarled at Sabre, who frowned.

"But why did they reject you?" Sabre asked, and Void wanted to tell him to shut up and mind his own business. But he found himself admitting the reason.

"I saw the dark future that was coming. I wanted to ignore it but I knew that it would come anyway, so may as well just accept that fact and just get it over and done with. My friends and the crystals couldn't understand that." Void turned his head away from the slightly surprised non-Steve.

"Friends?" Sabre murmured and Void knew he had said too much.

"No--not friends! They were just...allies, I guess. I wasn't close to them at all!" Void snapped at Sabre, ignoring the image of Colle popping into his head.
It doesn't matter that I saw him as the closest friend I had, he had other friends, and he couldn't understand the future I had already accepted!

Sabre frowned, and Void was unsure whether he saw the tiniest bit of regret in Sabre's eyes.

"What?" Void growled and Sabre glanced away.

"I have to kill you. You're too far gone. I couldn't change your fate even if I wanted to." Sabre murmured, "I once thought I could stop the Darkness by helping you become a better person, but I realised that after all you've done there's no helping you."

Void frowned. He knew Sabre wanted to kill him, but he didn't know that Sabre had considered trying to help him.

"Then kill me. Get it over and done with before your stupid hero mentalities change your mind." Void snarled. He didn't want to accept defeat, but he knew that there was nothing he could do. May as well get it finished quickly.

Sabre glanced at him with a slightly pitiful gaze, which fuelled Void's fury.

"Don't give me pity! Kill me! I'm the villain here, you're the hero! It's your job!" Void screeched and Sabre flinched.

Sabre glanced away before sighing and standing up.
For a second Void wondered if Sabre was going to help Void stand up, but he watched as Sabre grabbed Void's sword, switching the swords pinning Void down so Sabre could use his own sword while Void's own sword held Void down.

Void glared at Sabre as Sabre bent down again, watching with furious eyes as Sabre raised the sword and steadied it.

Void closed his eyes, willing the hero to make it quick.

Then his eye snapped open with a screech as the sword plunged into his chest, the world immediately starting to go black.
Void had been holding the bag he had grabbed before, and he reached into it, pulling out the contents and reaching for Sabre.

He managed to grab onto Sabre's paralyzed arm, and then his hand dropped to his side, all his strength fading.

"I'm...I'm sorry you couldn't be saved." Sabre muttered, glancing away.

Void felt himself smiling, and as the world turned black, he felt as if all the darkness in his heart faded away.

"Thank you." Seer whispered.

But it doesn't matter. Void's eyes flicked to the substance that Void had taken out of the bag and put on Sabre's arm. It was Darkness, which was now infecting Sabre, just as Void had hoped for.

The Darkness would have a new Leader. A new hero turned dark by the Darkness.

Seer was just happy it wasn't him anymore.

And uh oh Sabre might be in trouble here

I wasn't intending on making Void so angsty and kinda pitiful (in my opinion), it just happened.
But I do like how it turned out, and how at the end Seer kinda took over for a bit, then it went back to Void when it revealed he had gotten Sabre infected with Darkness, and then Seer again as he dies.
I'm quite happy with it :D

Also, because I used the words 'contents' and 'substance' to not reveal what Void had in the bag made it sound like Void had dr*gs.
Hahaha. Void has dr*gs and gave some to Sabre, uh oh.
