---Sabre's POV---

He ran outside, to where the group had set up the machine.

He was hoping they were there, and alright.

Luckily, they were. The worst injury they had was that Light had a small scratch on his cheek. It, luckily (again), wasn't infected.

"Sabre!" Time called happily.
Sabre immediately noticed that Elemental had tagged along.

"Hi Time." He smiled, but still was replaying Rainbow leaving in his head.

"Did you find any sign of Rainbow? We didn't find him." Light asked. Galaxy nodded with a worried look.

"...
I, uhm...I did see him." Sabre murmured.

"Did he say anything?" Elemental asked, looking eager for a fight.

Sabre paused, staring at Elemental with a wide-eyed expression (although they couldn't see it because of his blindfold.)
"He...well...we fought for a short time but then he broke out of the corruption for a little bit.
He said that we had to leave, before we were hurt...he left before I could talk sense into him."

The group was silent before Time fixed a determined expression on his face.
"That has to be the Darkness talking for him! We're going to get him back, Sabre, don't worry about it!"

Sabre smiled a bit, Time's confidence being infectious.

But all that was left was a hollow feeling of fear when a dark laugh came from behind them.

"Oh dear...I'm afraid that isn't going to happen..."

Sabre whipped around to see Void flying above the trees they were hiding in, Soul and Corruption following behind him.

"Void!" Elemental yelled, clenching his fists.

Galaxy tensed and Light drew a spear.

"Rainbow is quite useful in my plan, dear enemies. But its cute to see you try and fail miserably." Void grinned manically, sending a shiver down Sabre's spine.

Void then shifted his gaze to Sabre, and if Sabre didn't have a blindfold on they would've locked eyes.

"Maybe I should just kill you all, right here, right now." Void smirked as the group took a step back, "But that wouldn't be fun, would it? So...here's what we're going to do."

The group glanced at eachother with a bit of worry and confusion before glaring back up at Void.

"You're going to run." Void grinned, his voice darkening as he flew slowly forwards.

"In your dreams, Void!" Elemental shouted, looking confident.

Void stared at him, before reaching into a pocket he had attached to his belt and taking out three shiny things.

The Crystals.
He had the Blue and Violet Crystals from earlier, but now he also had the Green Crystal.

"You see, I'm winning this battle. You have the Orange Crystal and the Red Crystal. But I can easily get those.
You don't have them on you, do you?" Void asked, smiling evilly.

Sabre glared at him but shook his head.

"Ah, shame. That would've been a little easier. But oh well, I can just get them soon enough. Won't be much of a challenge." Void shrugged.

"He's really doing a full villain monologue, isn't he?" Galaxy whispered to Light, who let out a quiet snort and covered his mouth as he tried not to giggle.

"ARE YOU LAUGHING IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SPEECH?!" Void bellowed, causing the whole group to laugh.

Elemental almost fell over, Time held a hand to his mouth after a few giggles but kept smiling, Sabre had a quick laugh but stopped quickly, Galaxy was close to almost falling over too, and Light struggled even more to not giggle.

Void looked furious. He certainly didn't like being made fun of.
"You think this is funny?! You think this is a game?! I'll show you that it isn't!!!!!"

The group quickly went silent as Rainbow stepped out of the shadows.
Elemental was still laughing for a bit longer, as he hadn't noticed Rainbow, but shut up when Time quickly nudged him.

Rainbow was under the corruption again, staring at the group with a slightly angry expression.

Sabre froze, staring at his friend with a sick feeling in his stomach.

"I knew of your little plan. The rest of the group being a distraction as you, Sabre, went in, saved your friend and skipped away merrily with the Crystals? You thought you could do that? Well, I think not!" Void shouted, looking pleased with himself.

"...Sabre? What do we do?" Galaxy asked anxiously, leaning over to whisper to Sabre.

Sabre wanted to speak, he wanted to tell the group to run. But he could only take a small step back, shaking.

Come on, Sabre, do something!
You're meant to be a hero here!

Before he could snap himself out of freezing, Void summoned a fireball and sent it hurtling down to the group.

Everyone but Sabre leapt out of the way, Sabre just taking a few steps back in fear.

It exploded next to him, but only sent a bit of smoke in his face and didn't do any damage, luckily.

Sabre now was even more shaken, and just stared up at Void.

Void grinned and floated ever so slightly closer.

"Sabre!" Time yelled.
Sabre glanced over and saw Time and Elemental huddled under a few trees. Time was beckoning with a hand for Sabre to come over.

He quickly glanced to his other side to see Galaxy and Light also under trees, looking like they were debating running out to help him.

Void laughed and summoned another fireball.
Sabre whipped his head around to see Void throw it at him.

He threw up a hand and felt a warm object grow in his hand, before it was shot into the air.

Void's fireball collided with Sabre's fireball and made a big explosion, throwing both of them backwards.

Void flailed about in the air, before regaining his balance with a tiny bit of help from Soul and Corruption.

Sabre was thrown back onto the grass but quickly rolled over and got back onto his feet.

He glanced at his friends.
Time had stepped out of the tree cover, but was now staring at him with wide eyes.
Elemental was still under the trees, but was leaned out and had his mouth open while staring wide-eyed at Sabre.
Galaxy and Light had run out to help Sabre but were both now stopped next to eachother, both wide-eyed and open-mouthed.

Sabre took a moment to process what he'd just done, before glaring up at a reeling Void with a determined smile.

"Wha--? How?!" Void screamed, his shocked face turning quickly into rage.

Sabre felt a new surge of confidence. He would get Rainbow back, and defeat Void.

But now, to get his friends out of this now deadly situation because Void was now throwing a tantrum.

"HOW?! HE'S POWERLESS!!!!" Void screeched as he activated his powers, while Corruption, Soul and Rainbow slowly backed away from the furious Steve.

Fireballs and lightning lit up the surrounding forest and the small clearing the group had camped out in.

"RUN!" Sabre yelled, not really afraid of Void himself but afraid of his friends getting hurt.

Light and Galaxy rushed up to Sabre and followed him to Time and Elemental.

"I can teleport us out of here, but it would be easier in a safer area!" Time explained as they ran away from the small forest.
Time pointed to the fields that had been surrounding the forest and the Darkness castle/fortress, "I can teleport there!"

The group all nodded, dodging the lightning bolts and flaming fireballs, but soon were able to have a moment to breath and teleport.

Sabre covered his ears from all the lightning (from Time's teleporting and Void's angry lightning strikes), only relaxing slightly when they were back in the Rainbow Hub.

He glanced around before sitting down on the step in the middle of the Hub.

The group were slumped around him, all of them just taking a moment to recover.

"Everyone okay?" Light asked, and after they all nodded, Light whipped around to stare at Sabre, "Okay, WHAT WAS THAT?!!?!?" He yelled, eyes wide.

Sabre flinched backwards, not expecting Light, who was always quite calm and used to be very shy, to yell.
"Uhm...a fireball?" He awkwardly grinned, holding up one hand in a shrug position.

Light paused, as if processing, then sighed/groaned. "Yes, it was a fireball. But it was also a power. Coming from you. I thought you didn't have any powers!"

"Same here!" Sabre replied cheerfully. Although he wasn't actually cheerful, he was very upset they hadn't saved Rainbow.

"So how did you do it?" Time chimed in, resting his head on his hand.

Sabre paused, wondering if he should tell them or not.

You can tell them. Just maybe don't reveal that you're the Creator of the World and Origin. A very recognisable voice appeared in Sabre's head. It was Sabre's voice, but not the current Sabre.
Other Sabre!

Wait, really? And also, how long have you been able to talk to me in my head? Sabre replied.

Just recently. Maybe a day or two ago? Just didn't need to, and...I kinda...forgot to tell you? Sorry, I was busy looking after Origin. He's starting to learn how to use his powers on a larger level and he's basically a young child at this point in time so it's...chaotic. Other Sabre apologised, sounding both embarrassed and on the verge of laughter. Other Sabre flashed a quick image into Sabre's head of a small Origin running around laughing, spawning pigs and chickens and other animals and plants, while Other Sabre was chasing after him.

That seems interesting and annoying. But didn't you say that I should keep my powers a secret? Sabre mentally chuckled before asking the question.

Yes, I did. But I'm realising that they're not going to stop bothering you about your abilities. I think it would be easier for both you and them if you told them. I don't know whether it's a good idea or not to tell them about being the Creator, but it's honestly up to you. Other Sabre sighed, and Sabre got the feeling that he was shrugging.

Alright...talk to you later? Sabre asked.

Yep! See you tonight. Other Sabre cheerfully spoke, and Sabre felt the presence of Other Sabre leave his mind.

"Sabre? Sabre??" A voice snapped him out of his thoughts and he glanced up to see Time in his face, looking slightly concerned.

Was that conversation taking the same time in my mind as the real world?! Oops!

"Uh, yeah?" Sabre smiled awkwardly.

Time leaned back with a sigh. "You were zoned out there for a moment. You okay?"

"I'm okay. Sorry about that." Sabre nodded, crossing his arms with a smile.

"Okay...I'm going to ask again. How did you use powers?" Time asked, slightly slowly as if he thought Sabre needed to process his words.

Sabre sighed with a small laugh behind it, glancing at Light, Elemental and Galaxy who were all standing around Sabre and Time. "Well, you might need to sit down for this..."

Another Chapter out!

I didnt realise that the last chapter was posted in November! (I think, I can't remember. It was last updated in November, according to the 'Table of Contents' lol)

For some reason, it feels like I posted the last Chapter a few days ago.
I think it's because I completed a Chapter in my other Rainbow Quest book: Cursed Butterflies. I sometimes get the two books mixed up and forget which one I'm writing for lol

But anyway, hope you enjoyed this Chapter, I hope you have a great day/night and see you all in the next Chapter, hopefully coming out soon!!
