"I was scared." Jessica admitted as they trudged through the lonely path. Everyone looked at her in surprise. Jessica was never scared.

"What?" She snapped "Is it wrong to be scared of a hostile dragon?"

"No, it isn't." Twinkle said frightfully.

"Good." Jessica said. At that moment, Stephanie bumped into something orangish-yellow.

"Oh I'm so sorry!" Stephanie cried. When she looked up and paled.

"Me too! I'm sorry, I didn't notice you there! I'm Citrus, what business do you have here?" Citrus asked.

"Please let us see the wizard and the fairy! It's really important!" Twinkle practically begged. Citrus looked at her skeptically.

"First," she said in a more serious tone "you must answer a riddle. If you fail, you'll be stuck here forever!"

"Oh yeah. We forgot about that part didn't we Jessica?" Angel asked.

"Yup." Jessica replied rolling her eyes at Twinkle's behavior.

"Okay," said Citrus straightening her fur "I am water's son, but if I return to water, I die. What am I?"

Everyone looked at Twinkle, the brains of their group. She glared at them and sighed. Her friends were as smart as mentally affected sheep.

"Hmm..." She pondered "Water's son, return to water..."

"Fish?" Stephanie asked.

"Nope, duh." Twinkle said.

"Icebergs?" Angel offered.

"Hmm... You might be onto something!" Twinkle cried. Angel looked triumphantly at Stephanie who just scowled at her.

"Ice? Is ice the answer?" Jessica and Twinkle simultaneously asked, Stephanie and Angel looked on in horror. To their surprise, Citrus nodded.

"Very well, you have shown your intelligence. You are now permitted to see the wizard and fairy." Citrus said in a booming voice. A wall they hadn't noticed before opened and another path was shown. They thanked her and continued along the dark, cobbled road.
